    It's hard to pick but what's your favorite set up? I'd have to go Tickle Stick/Free fall for perch and panfish and the Widow Maker/Wicked reel combo for anything larger.

      Jagged Tooth Tackle Hey boss i’d like to buy that Widow-maker that you have in the box is that one for a walleye? The one in the box with the green tip, not the tickle one for perch, also I see that other real I think people call it the in-line reel with the clicker, but would I be able to put that on the widow maker that’s in the box? Not the one that’s out of the box, How much tests pound could I put, an I able to put 10 pound braid? And would it be wise to put it on that one clicker inline reel, this is all for walleye, do you sale these things, if so can I have a number to call to get a better understanding, i but lots of fishing stuff, I really don’t like typing I like to speak to people over the phone over these kinds of things, if I’m gonna spend over a 100 bucks on stuff, I really do love that widow in the box with the green. You also didn’t say what kind of fish you use it for, is it for jigging walleye. Help!!! So many questions loool help ASAP I’m getting ready for ice fishing NOW loool is like some help that’s all please if you need to email me first to give me a number then fine here is my email eric32es@gmail

      Jagged Tooth Tackle and that last walleye pole is that the evolve reel set rod? And what kind of reel is that. Just Incase you tell me the one in the box is not really for walleye, and I can’t use the Betty real with 10 pound braid.

    ur2.pl/2318 it came looking like it was way worth more than the price. Everything was packed so cleanly and still in the wrapping. The rod feels stirty even when I extended to its full length. The handle was solid and the extended handle was a nice touch. The reel is really clean, quiet, and it turn smoothly. It does feel a little heavy and it could be the reason why it felt solid. The one down side to the reel is the little polyurethane(not sure if it's made from it), nut get stuck when you remove the reel handle. The tackle, bait, and fishing line is a bonus for people who do not fish often.

    Great review. I picked up the UL Tickle Stick last year for gills and that sensitive tip is a must have for me from here on out. I was thinking of getting the longer, hole hopper Tickle Stick this year, but was unaware that you can get the Widow Maker with the same tip. This review was helpful and now has me reconsidering my options. Thanks!

      Absolutely! last year I took a buddy out for his first time on the hard water, let him use my flasher, so I was fishing blind. I landed a 12 1/4" gill with that slight uptick of the tip from her coming up from underneath the jig. Its a safe bet that I would have never noticed it with other rods.

I don't like to "sell" the products per say on UA-cam but I'll feature them and give links to where people can get them if they like. • @glennkrzeminski7539
    @glennkrzeminski7539 6 років тому

    The tickle stick really seems like it is a dead-sticking rod to me; however, I really like that flat tip movement even when I hold it in my hands! Two things I would like to change about it, tho, are the feel of the rod and the handle. I own the ultra light model and it's really hard to feel a positive hookset. I had to change my hookset from a cocking of my wrists to a sweep of the rod with my arms. I never really feel the hook bite I just have to increase the tension to the point where it does. (Luckily, the small and thin hooks that come with the small jigs designed for the ultralight hasn't posed a penetration problem.) Obviously this takes a split second longer than cocking your wrist and there is no positive feel of getting a firm hookset. Perhaps if the flat tip weren't quite so long I could get that snug, thump back? The other thing is the handle - it's sized for a child's hand, I think. My hand barely fits the molded handle without a glove; with a glove, forgettaboutit.

    • @JaggedToothTackle
      @JaggedToothTackle  6 років тому

      The tickle stick isn't meant for deadsticking or gloves -- I think you are off the point if you are doing either with it. The flat tip will detect light bite you'll never feel. I've fished just on site movement on the end by itself. I really like the tickle stick but I agree there's just a little something with the feel that is different which is probably in the design for the flat end. It's my second favorite panfish rod next to a TUCR

      Right now everything has been sold out since last season, a new shipment should be in Sept/Oct and fully stocked. If you are walleye fishing I wouldn't recommend an in-line reel as those are more of a perch/panfish type of set up with light line. The widow maker rods are pretty awesome though -- feel like a high end bass rod but for ice fishing

I just want a recommend set up from that website 13fishing.com I’d pay 80 to 100 for the pole and reel, lol you got my blood going on this video.

      Here's a link to the ones for the Evolve Reel seat - www.jaggedtoothtackle.com/index.php?l=product_list&c=1461 Length is personal preference, action is more so the type of fish you are targeting. Smaller to medium walleyes you could run a medium light to medium. Light to ultra light I would use to panfish/perch up to smaller walleyes. The rods with the green tips are the tickle stick flat ends more for hole hopping crappies/panfish over a walleye specific rod. I've caught pike on a Super Ultra Light rod -- it's A LOT of fun if you can land them but I would never target pike that way - good way to end up with lost lures and broken rods lol. My main walleye rod is the 28 medium though

      When I would place a spinning reel on the rod, the rod tip would bounce like what happens when you place a spinning reel on a casting rod. The line angle going to the first eye on the bottom would create tension when reeling, intern bouncing the rod tip each time the reel would hit max extension away from the rod blank.

      I tried every spinning reel I own, with each one doing the same thing. I had an inline reel laying around and the bounce went away when I put it on. Unless the rod I purchased was a mistake.

      The rod that I had was the 13 fishing 28" medium widowmaker. I tried varies spinning reels that I had around my place (pfluger president, pfluger trion, Mitchel, vortex). The rod would bounce until I place a Frabil 371 inline on the rod. I ended up selling the rod and reel together because I don't like the idea of having an inline reel on a medium weight rod. I would like to buy another one because I loved how sensitive the rod was, but I want to place a spinning reel on it.

    Good video but please dont store your rods with the tips bent over makes me sick

      100% agree, I've seen many permanently bent rods due to this. I've switched to storing my tickle stick with the jig hanging freely in the bag
