Today's "journalists" are NOT journalists, they are all political activists. They are NOT hired for any journalism experience or capability, but are hired based on their political ideology. I've tried getting into "journalism", and I was told that unless I was a Democrat, I have "no business being a journalist." The message was clear that they only want political activists. I eventually went into Elementary Education, where I learned the hard way that they too DON'T want "educators", but only want left leaning activists. I had my teaching credentials revoked with prejudice, never to be able to get them back, simply because I questioned their (public schools) indoctrination. And these are the same people (Left) that claim to want "inclusion." What a F'n joke.
And people wonder why we believe the country, if not the West as a whole, is screwed. The supposed building blocks of society have become corrupted and rotted, likely beyond any hope of repair, and it's all too likely that the only hope of recovery is if the slate is wiped clean.

TBF, there has ALWAYS been "journalists" who were nothing BUT "activists", and "educators" who were nothing BUT propagandists (regardless of where you find yourself on the political spectrum). The only difference is people are MORE AWAKE on the obvious issue of people who are less interested in doing their job THEY ARE BEING PAID FOR, and more focused on "destroying their ideological enemy" for having the sheer audacity to simply exist.
Bill Clinton, with the Telecommunications act, reduced the media companies from 155 to 3. There are no more blue collar journalists. Journalists all come from elite Ivy League universities now. Places like Columbia or Dartmouth or Harvard. These people can easily be controlled by Access Journalism which prevents anyone who asks questions politicians don't want to answer from ever talking to politicians again. Journalists can be easily controlled through their parent orgs as there are no longer any competing firms, just three giant media companies who all rely on pfizer and merck for financing and political access for content.
Screw filing reports, contact a lawyer, send him a cease and desist, and when he doesn't stop, SUE HIM.

Very true, it is important to keep in mind though in the United States docking is not illegal. Reason being is that your address is on the side of your building for anyone to see, as well as in a phone book somewhere, that makes it public information. Socially speaking I agree with you but legally speaking there's probably not much he can do.

Even with substantial evidence of the doxxing leading to a credible threat to life, business or what have you, it's still incredibly difficult.

People usually don't get why influential people move to these hyper secure communities until they are put in this spot.
Grummz contact your local law enforcement and let them know what happening so if you get swatted they're aware it's unfounded attacks and can respond appropriately

I don't get why Second Wind, who are very critical of the current games industry, would target Grummz. You would think they would have common ground on the subject.

Now they have pointed out he runs his company poorly and has his own residence listed as his company (legally a seperate business entity) as his personal residence.
Now he's begging for critics to be censored and shifting blame when Grummz did this, not the journalist reporting it.

@@mikecampos1193 I have a lawyer. They're expensive -- *very* expensive. In fact, they are prohibitively expensive in many cases, which is often why whoever has deeper pockets and can afford the best legal team for the longest amount of time throughout the process ends up "winning".
Imagine how much better life would be if this amount of effort was spent fixing the gaming industry instead of covering up its mistakes 🤔

Even if the information is publically available on another system, that does not extend to you having the right to subsequently share that information.

That editor from the escapist is a nutjob. I found out about his extreme views about 2 months back and unsubscribed from second wind. Yahtzee from zero punctuation is pretty much the ONLY reason anyone subscribed to second wind, since he went with them, leaving the escapist. I don't care anymore though. They can all get lost.
And most people like Yahtzee because he is funny more than because they agree with him.

So... i work for UPS. Grummz go to a ups store and set up a mailbox there. These are street address mailboxes that you open up under a business. I know that they said everything already but it might help yourself in the future.

I'm glad I never supported Second Wind, I was almost tempted to when it started but its become clear they are just as bad as the thing they claimed to be leaving behind if not worse.

This is why you should always carry around a way to protect yourself, you can't expect that anyone will give you the same respect of privacy you give them. Some people do not have moral standards and they live for drama and to hurt others. So the best defense is to be prepared for this sort of thing to happen. Get to know your local police if you stream, so they don't swat you for dumb reasons, and prepare while you have anonymity because the day will come when you no longer have it. Its just common sense. Living in small towns is a big help and in states with favorable protection laws. I really don't like doxxing but it always happens, so you should expect it to happen, and be prepared for when it does.

Games and table to gaming has always welcomed a broad spectrum of people right up until fairly recently. There has been an influx of some that are just getting involved not to enjoy the hobbies, but are actively attempting to colonise it with ideology and politics. I don't know about you but I just want to have fun. Grummz, keep being awesome and keep your nose clean, give them no ammo and live your best life. They are trying to grind you down and destroy you as an example so no one dares stand up like you have.
