'Made staff members uncomfortable' means that they don't have a legitimate reason, because if there was a legitimate reason, they would've been transparent with it.
I recommend doing charge backs on credit cards. They stopped people doing refunds, do this instead. They took the action, the have earned the consequence. They falsely advertised shed be there, they didn't deliver. That's literally what charge backs are for.

I don't think that'll go far as they're not in any sort of contracted obligations with her. Even Kirsche stated that she knows they're allowed to remove her for any reason.

Remember, if you are wanting a refund you can state fraud and demand your bank do a backcharge against the event. They will also get hit for the amount of the event pass, and the backcharge fee. Enough backcharges will cause the events processor to suspend all transactions with them as they will be afraid of more.

Any censorship is newsworthy, and I've heard commentary on it fairly recently from other channels.

the important thing is that there's a direct parallel between what's happening now with Kirshe and what almost happened prior with Pippa. the major difference is that Pippa was a part of a group that valued its members and their expression so to ban Pippa was to lose the whole group while Kirshe is independant so they have a lot less to worry about... so long as Kirshe takes the highroad and doesnt flex their connections as she specifically says not to run this to her friends like Pippa to get them to do something for her.
No sense in saying anything to Phase about this year's convention, I bet the paperwork is in already. Next year, though? Her fans and other interested parties would be right to question continued financial support of such suppression.
To be fair, Pippa was explicitly told to hold back on some of her humor. She's still clearly allowed wide reign in the company, since she is their main cash flow, and she has also expressed her desire to change things about herself independently. But she has far more limitations than she did when she started.

The "volunteers" who said that Kirsche makes them uncomfortable, and I personally think its literally one person who's throwing a bee-OTCH fit, don't want her in attendance because they can't stand Kirsche being in the spotlight of their little bubble.

The hardest job interview i ever had was for a volunteer position. There are benefits to volunteering that you exchange your time for, organizational control shouldnt be one of them. They need to sign contracts and be treated as employees, they get compensated just not in cash.

You're uncomfortable? Please check the mirror for the source of your discomfort instead of insisting that everybody else adapt to service your discomfort. You should never have been on this convention's staff. A convention or expo is a _business venture_ usually by a 501.c.3 non-profit, and every decision such as this one has financial consequences for that venture. For this reason, unless it's your money, YOU should not be influencing decisions the convention will have to pay for, neither in the short nor the long term. This is the height of Leftist selfishness and intolerance. It is, further, the height of stupidity.

You know I find it funny that they refer to these volunteers as staff, staff gets paid, volunteers do not, also if they are actually all volunteers as they keep insisting why? Why aren't they paying these people to help organize everything, these cons make more than enough money to afford to pay the people that help you organize, it really seems to me that the vast majority of these con organizers are just economically irresponsible which is why they rely on volunteers so much.
Complainers like these claim the side of moral superiority and rather than actually leave the situation they supposedly "feel uncomfortable in" they whine and moan and demand others capitulate to them. I loathe people like that.
