Kayn or Katarina. Kayn because he walks through walls and thus becomes super unpredictable and katarina cause somehow she always gets megafed even before she roams to us.
Nah bro run exhaust and play an adc with a little mobility. Zed jumps on me as Vayne? Before he casts any abilities exhaust him (This is Vayne Specific but you get the idea) Exhaust him, R then Q so you have your invis. from the RQ combo to gain a few seconds of confusion while he bursts and then just kite and auto cause he's out of abilities because he just tried to burst you
1. Mindful sidelaning: safe routes, map awareness and give away farm 2. Dont let then snowball and avoid falling behind in levels: you are already winning by not dying 3. Group around your team, play around cc and attack them when they have committed to another target 4. Be patient and no nothing if you know he is saving his spells for you 5. Dont waste summoner spells if you are already going to die 6. Take resolve for a defensive secondary runes setup
I really like this guide because it finally addresses the most common complaint we ADCs have. Although it might get some negative criticism (we are known to be salty, because of the pain); the nuanced advice provided is by far more useful than "just don't die lol", even when it is still not perfect.
Getting 1 shot by assassins if you position poorly or fuck up something is fine. Its there to make the game balanced. But getting oneshot by a tank that just runs at you, ignoring your damage is not so fun.
As harsh and “unhelpful” as it may seem. “Just don’t die” is a fairly reasonable request. I play assassin and 6/10 times it is absolutely your fault you died. The only excusable assassin deaths are where you are with your team and you’ve committed to a fight or they bulldoze straight through into you. Only then is it not as simple as “just don’t die”. Every other time, you capable of living and choose not to.
I think the big important point that fits in with this as well as any other time a player is struggling is that one cannot be afraid to change their build mid game. Sure getting something like GA as your second item may be sub optimal but if it means in the process you deny the enemy Zed a good 3-4 kills and force him to fall off that's a win for you
Why would you waste gold on a GA? You are doing the Zed's job for him. You are making yourself useless by doing 0 damage in fights, which is the only thing most ADCs contribute. My personal rule is to never go defensive when behind, and only build it if I'm ahead, so I can start playmaking and taking the initiative.
@@Juslin7989 true, another point missed in this video is how building defensively and taking defensive runes will cost you vs tanks and HP stacking bruisers, espessially in the same team as an assasin... its hard to build vs every enemy type and it shows in high elo where they prio dmg and positioning.
The issue with zed is that every time it is McBaze coming in hot from midlane 5-0 at 3.5 mins smurfing on my games because my midlander wasn’t challenger :(
I think there are two more things you can do in addition to the tips mentioned in de video. 1. Taking exhaust can help you survive against assassins jumping you, especially when your support takes ignite. 2. If you reach late(r) game a GA can save you as well.
@@aaronweiss3294 As a Zed player it absolutely does. My TTK drops hard. Can I still kill you in a 1v1? Probably. I’m an assassin. If one spell stopped me from that, it would be busted. But when you’re with your team? Death sentence. Even if I somehow manage to get you, which is hard when I have attracted attention, I definitely will not make it out alive.
@Muffy depends on what you are building. if zed has ignite R and you are overextended then he can 100/0 you, but even then you can counter with barrier exhaust or flashing the Q. or you can just get zhonyas for the armor and to ddoge Q
okay, as a diamond player i almost clicked off because of all these tips i already knew, but the last one for sure got me, even as someone who maximizes their rune setup all the time, thank you skill-capped :)
Gotta say something, I'm a casual player who play for fun and I also play dota 2 which is a different game than league but srsly these videos helped me a lot dude (spacing, wave management, how to roam, tempo and etc) in both league and dota 2 which is honestly amazing, I get that these are 2 different games with different strategies and different concepts but man both have so much in common too and I'm applying these simple yet effective strategies in both and it's actually working even in dota2. great job skill capped!
I have some many thousand hours in LoL and about 100 in Dota 2 and the game tempo feels so different and they have so many skills that are forbidden in LoL for good reason. we used to have Evelynn to be perma invisible like Rico and that was so op that they just removed the perma stealth mechanic. Many Dota heroes have very strong mechanics that are hard to counter and it feels so clunky at times but I found that most players there had very weak mechanical skill so I just outplayed them with Sniper kiting.
saying this at the beginning so it might be in the vid, but a trick that i use is to quickly tab during teamfights to see if the assasins are missing, and where they are, then repositioning to counter that
The item alone is not enough defense. Unless you use the active part near the AD assassin which might get you killed even faster to utilise the item at its fullest. Otherwise most assassins will get last whisper and still kill you as if that item didn't exist.
@@kareem5653 Randuis gives 80 armor. The maximum amount of %armor pen you can have is 48% (LDR + full build Eclipse with shoes already sold (keep in mind %armor pen stacks multiplicatively and not additively, making multiple sources of it worse the more sources you have)). Depending on the total armor, Prowlers could still be more effective though, so we'll look at that with an actual example. We still have 4 slots left, so we'll fill them with the highest lethality items to maximize dmg. So we'll get Youmuus (18), Serpents Fang (12), Collector (12) and any remaining item, since they all give 10. We also have 18 from our Mythic as well as the respective Mythic Passive. So we have 35% armor pen and a total of 70 Lethality plus the Mythic passive. Let's take a look at a slightly realistic target: Jinx at level 14, while you're level 18. This means you're insanely ahead in this game. At this level, Jinx has 68 armor. Plus the 80 from Randuins we have 148 armor of which we promptly ignore 35%, leaving us with 96 armor. With Eclipse, we'd ignore a further 20%, putting the armor at 77. This is only a further reduction of 19, so we'll go Prowlers instead, which makes us ignore 25 armor instead, putting us at 71. Reducing this down to 68 again, we only need 3 more lethality, so a quarter of e.g. Collector. So 1 single legendary item invalidates the armor pen of LDR, the Mythic passive and a bit of another item. This is insane value, even on it's own. Tbf the higher Jinx's level gets the less items Randuins will invalidate, since her base armor gets higher, but even at level 18 it still invalidates LDR and almost the entire Mythic passive. So in every scenario Randuins brings way more value than Last Whisper or its full items. Keep in mind that this analysis is solely based on armor, armor pen and lethality. I didn't take health, AD or any effect into account, since this would've made this way more complex
@@lantami1199 1. %Amor pen 2. %max HP dmg 3 .AD 4. Lethality. If an assassin has all 4 they can kill anyone. excluding heals and shields. Tanks build Armor and MR to stay tanky but if they don't stack health with resistances they are killable like adc. This is the same with mages, after they build hourglass, if an assassin gets last whisper you just straight up lose because the mage doesn't have enough hp to back up the effectiveness of the armor. So in your case you said jinx level 14 and me level 18 if she builds Randuis, 80 armor, and 250 health plus the passive rock solid which stacks with health but she doesn't have much HP so it doesn't make much difference. Then you have the active passive which is the broken part of the item but you need to be near so you will get killed. So this leaves you with 80 armor and 250 health. With LDR and lethality. Me as level 18 I should easily kill jinx no matter how much dmg I do because her health bar is not big enough to absorb all the dmg let alone resistance. So at level 18 it might not fully one shot her but it will just leave you with 100 hp, because of the "80 amror" and that lethality damage is reduced due to same level. In late game it is just 1 auto or Q and you are dead still. You can go test it yourself, Go into an ARAM game and if you get a tank just stack up Armor or MR depending on the team but don't build any HP you will die instantly like adc would. Even if you have 200+ Armor or MR. So Same applies to assassins lethality is backed up with last whisper and AD.
@@kareem5653 That's why I specified that my example only took armor and armor pen into account. The item alone wont save you, but it negates a significant portion of the assassins damage by itself. Also in this example the assassin is 4 levels ahead at which point they are supposed to be able to kill you. I chose this example to show that even in this position Randuins is a very valuable item. If you aren't hopelessly behind, chose your runes accordingly and built other items helping with defense, such as Shieldbow, it's already pretty hard to one-shot you, leaving you with a bit of health and at least a chance to live, even if on your own. Add to that good position and a little bit of peel and you're unkillable unless you make a mistake. This is with the assassin building entirely to counter your build and using all their resources on you and you only. Sure, you'll sacrifice potential dps, but you can't dps anyway if you're dead. Ultimately of course the assassin will be at an advantage, that's literally their entire purpose in the game. But you can do a lot to make it infinitely harder for them to do their job
@@lantami1199 I played just now ARAM game where GA is not available to buy. we were 2 adc champs Senna and Kalista. Senna had randuins and kali had hourglass, steel boots (armor) and shieldbow. Rengar easily oneshot senna but couldn't oneshot kalista even though he had shield reduction because when he R's you hourglass all his dmg. but when it was not there kalista would die regardless if not oneshot but she dies pretty quick. Meanwhile, Senna did die oneshot with randuins so building it is useless against all in. The only time she killed rengar was when she was able to activate the active part of the item which is the broken part. reduce 10% TAD and crit by 20%. btw he didn't have lastwhisper and was oneshotting senna. You can''t do infinitely harder without hourglass or GA you will simply die there is nothing you can do. If you are the carry and you die but they die they still win btw.
"most of them have weak waveclear" here be the assassins -- either junglers so they don't need to manage their wave or some sort of zed/kata/ekko that can dump the wave very fast at about level 8 The pinned answer: Kata. Because way too many resets are achievable without interaction and her E is a teleport for some reason too? reeto pls
But Kata's E is technically not a teleport, since tp's have cast times... Her E is classified as a blink, so its more like flash, which is even worse...
@@joseantoniomarronmartinez9526 Yeah so it is not going to do any dmg but you won't die. From melee or all in directly kinda like malz shield. Because we all don't want the Aftershock AP meta all over again..
btw what they said might work if enemy doesn't build items that do dmg to shields. Otherwise their build is useless because a zed can just get 1 item (serphans fang) and counter your whole runes that they mentioned.. All that shielding is gone... guess what you are one shot..
@@kareem5653 serpants fang reduces shields, not armor and magic resist that you'd get from runes. And if you see an AD assassin like zed or talon buy a serpants fang, which I think is pretty troll if it's only to deal with a shieldbow, a pretty easy counter would be to build a guardian angel, or even better, a randuins omen. With those on top of the runes suggested, a Zed won't be one shotting you. Unless theyre like 4 levels higher than you.
@@chrislyon5099 Nope. if zed or talon has eclipse, last whisper and serphas fang, Your shield bow shield part is useless, the armor is reduced and the health from eclipse dmg is increased if you build shieldbow with omen, so essentially, you will get one shot. GA is good but it is team depended... if you are winning, otherwise, like the game I had the tank goes backline and plays as KDA player.. leaving you to tank... @@chrislyon5099 The game is fast pace so no matter what you do you will still be under level because you have a support with you. unless the enemy adc and support feeding you and the assassin is behind that is when it is gg. Or you have to wait till everyone is level 18 by then the game is over..
Most times in low elo, (I'm Silver, so really low elo lol,) I can just look at what champs are carrying their team, and build against them to lessen the impact of their advantage. Since this is low elo; I don't get punished as much for conceding stats. Hardly anyone is aware of why they'd want to hit the Tab key at any point in the game, and they go on to build the same items they built the last 50+ games. Example: A Master Yi is blowing up, and we're playing Ashe. Yi doesn't know what a tab key even is, so he doesn't see that we've built Shieldbow and Death's Dance to compensate for his early lead. Throw in some Steelcaps for good measure, and this Yi won't know what hit him when he Q's in, and we live long enough to R and obliterate him. It's worth noting that most hyper carries in low elo like Yi, Yasuo, Fizz or Zed have very few options/ways out once they've decided to burst their CD's on someone. So if you manage to survive that burst; odds are heavily in favor of you punishing it, and claiming their bounty. Oh, and if we're the Supp, not the ADC; then just use CC to punish hard engages. The same situation occurs with no items needed to create it. Soraka's E in particular is amazing for stopping an assassin burst in its tracks.
@@wladynosz1565 He has two obvious options. 1 being to just R the carry away, and 2 to E to safety. ADC's like Ashe tend to have very low mobility/ways to disengage an opponent once they have forced the fight, (hence why this video put a highlight on vision/caution. Preventing the engage is the easiest solution.) Contrast to that, Azir and other Mid-laners are loaded with dashes and CC to protect themselves with, Azir's R being his most prominent. That said, you can still do what I said about the Ashe example. Identify who the Enemy carry is, and build 1-3 items against them, (by "against" I mean anything which would mitigate their advantage. Master Yi's advantage is his AA burst, so Death's Dance and Steelcap work directly against him as the DD mitigates burst, and Steelcap mitigates AA's.) Even in a game where the enemy catches on to your counter build: There isn't much they can do to stop you.
@@Darith926 Most of the time getting oneshot before even ult goes off, and if died the ult doesn´t knock back - that´s an annoying feature. Most of the time getting oneshot WHILE E-ing too. Most of the games are about surviving without doing much - most adc´s even when behind tend to outdamage me even when I´m fed af.
people also seriously neglect exhaust. its a reasonable cool down. it destroys incoming damage and slows, it makes running or kiting easy. When it comes to you, the ADC, doing sustained damage it beats ignite. barrier is not a terrible idea but EXHAUST.... people. Hover over it, you know that assassin is going to dive. its also point and click (one of the most powerful types of 'spells' RIOT continues to try and phase out. There is a reason why. There is no real 'counter play'. Also I never see people build Edge of Night. Also an amazing AD option.
idk, i ran conditioning first, but then misclicked on bone plating. FEELS SO GOOD i went green tree cuz i saw that the healing is the same on samira as taste+ravenous, but you also get more survivability
A more extreme solution is to splash a tank item into your build. If I'm playing Ashe and the enemy nocturne decides I'm the only thing worth ulting, I won't hesitate to grab a Randuin's. The active makes it such a good "OH SHIT" button when getting jumped by AD threats. This is very much not an every game purchase, but it's better than getting one shot on repeat.
Map awareness indeed. Use that frontline. Stay up on levels if possible. Finally, if everyone is squishy, build a little defense. I'm really, really thankful that sometimes doing nothing is the right choice.
Map awareness, asking help from frontline, staying up in levels this makes sense.. Item wise and runes they mentioned... wouldn't help because if you buy GA and shieldbow. Your team is losing then it makes no sense to get them because your whole team will die before you can do anything and if you revive again you are dead still.
Lol my front line never protects me, they’re too busy fighting the enemy tank with me getting picked off from the back because Zed side walked by them or Yone just dashing in ignoring everyone else
well.....the vast vast majority of games is actually not me getting the assassin fed, but rather a 6/0 Zed coming down from midlane, towerdiving me over and over even though i won my lane going like 3 or 4 kills myself...
As a tristana main, I can't go shieldbow, so my best friend is the map and vision that I look at constantly to make sure I have info on every opponent fed or not
@@EddyConejo Well she's more of a hypercarry and burst ADC, it feels like Shieldbow isn't the right item where there's Galeforce and Kraken Slayer. And well I'm still a huge beginner sooooo I may say something wrong and won't mind learning from my mistales
@@Siinory If the enemy team has burst mages or assassins (such as Annie, Lux, Talon, Akali...), it can save your life very often, but you can also consider building it if your own team can't shield/heal you.
You have to accept that sometimes it's just gonna happen. The more you focus on playing your best and getting ahead the less you'll start to die. Sometimes I'll build an early stopwatch or steelcaps to prevent them from snowballing early leads
the secret is playing ap kaisa with a shield as a sum. they can't see you, they can't reach you, and if one of them managed to get to you, you still have e+R+ shield to dodge and block their burst combo, while running towards you team. i z i.
"It is sometimes okay to do nothing." I got flamed all game and reported last night. Went Panth top against Annie, Lee wanted to invade so I went with. He used me to escape and I died. So when they were freaking out I was farming and getting plating over tp'ing to make bot a 3v4, when I wasn't attempting a 1v3 to steal rift, or that I would ping like crazy any time the enemy wasn't in lane but not rotate with... you all know how it goes. Comments all match about how I wasn't a team player, split pushing, etc. "top's job is to be fed and fight, you built X (aka professor's build), and you're 0-3 to ganks, dog s#". They kept feeding the team, blaming me they stayed in the 4v5s. But after getting turret and all 5 plates and joined in the fights? We easily pushed and won. Best part was after I commented: "I died to Lee's invade. It set me back from the start. I wasn't going to tp into fights so you could flame me for inting. Why do you keep flaming when it was ur fault I was underleveled instead of ganking even once?" Annie typed " ^ ". Still got reported by the idiot squad tho. I love the game, but these people man. That's what I get for trying ranked out ig, their way or the highway smh.
Skill capped mention this in tip in videos too but I'll reiterate it here: if things start going south OR any teammate starts typing, it's time to /mute all (or selectively mute your team if you wish). Doing so is truly heaven, it feels like one of those games where your team is just playing without typing, you know, one of those GOOD games
the first suggestion gets negated by the fact that all assassins are hyper mobile now. cool you took a longer path, and the talon had to jump a singular extra wall. the second suggestion would be true..... if assassin's didnt spike on a component item. a 0/13 zed still 100-0s an adc with half his combo "assassin's are cooldown reliant" *me staring at assassin items and seeing ability haste out their ears* mmmmhmmmm..... the last tip is a very good one though.
The tips are good for beginners. But still in low elo other lanes feed the assasin. I always win the bot lane with my duo m8 and kill the enemies multiple times. As soon as the laning phase ends there are always 2 enemies which are fed. One of them is an assasin. Good luck then as an adc playing against a fed assasin.
soo if you want to take side farm when some assassin is dead. what if they have a nocturne or eve, shaco, rengar. something you wont see comming. just give up side farm or?
Tbh i am always trying to match my rune with the matchup and everything. But i never thought running resolve rune could be worth on an adc, thanks for the tip!👍
It's not, this is bad advice. The only matchup I would ever consider running resolve secondary into is Draven + Engage Support. He's one of the only adcs that can't really outplay bone plating in any way and has very little poke. Also, ONLY RUN RESOLVE SECOND WITH PRECISION FIRST. You lose far too many stats crucial on adcs if you don't have the precision tree Other adcs can poke it off too easily and poke supports make it useless. You can't run other resolve runes either because they all scale off of health, bone plating is the only flat damage reduction part of the rune. Always go bone plating + revitalize if green secondary. If you want to counter assassins just respect their map pressure. If you don't have clear vision on them then don't catch unwarded waves until you do and wait a few seconds before every fight until you see the assassin show so you can actually start dpsing without getting oneshot. Also shieldbow obviously, the item is disgusting
@@biggiecheese2004 Why is it bad advice? it seems to be a variation of the gathering storm meme rune pick. You don't use these runes for lane, you use them for midgame farm/split when the mid zed and jungle Talon/Qiyana/Kha wants to snack on you. I do agree that the best way to counter assassins is to just respect their map pressure, but this seems to be a fine way in addition to do that once you learn how to. And whats up with bone plating, they never mention picking that rune. Its overgrowth + conditioning.
@@seogoratjk they scale extremely poorly if you don't stack resistances/health. overgrowth is fine to take, but conditioning sucks without a lot of armor/mr. you want flat defense on ADC, which conditioning, revitalize, and bone plating all offer. what doesn't matter however, is the fact that these runes will not save you from a fed assassin and are useless in lane completely. laning phase is the most important part of the game, you should ALWAYS be catering runes to laning phase as such
@@biggiecheese2004 Nothing you can buy or use in the game as an even-in-lane ADC will save you vs a fed assassin, the objective from skillcapped here is to give you an option to beat an even or behind assassin. Overgrowth and conditioning does not scale on an ADC well in comparison to other runes - good point. Do you remember why Kassadin was at one point really op in s8-s9? Because Fleet combined with red/green tree made him impossible to shut down so he had his mid-lategame powerspike and would run you down if the game even got close to that level. Surviving is your goal as an ADC, not to stomp laning phase. You are the teams late game DPS insurance.
@@biggiecheese2004 and take domination instead to get a 18 health heal every 20 seconds? Bone plating reduces at least 30 dmg, that's always pretty decent and shield bash can Be insane If you have a shield support and overheal
Here's my tip: when you see an assassin that is able to oneshot you in the game, pick an adc that can stand their ground against an asssasin like Vayne, Xayah and Kaisa. And never 1v1 an assassin unless you are confident you can take them on. Remember: 1v1 is an assassin speciality, not adc.
the problem is adcs have a very weak later gameplay as mid game doesnt exist anymore, zhonyas rush? doesnt matter the assassin built axiom, shield bow? the yone/yasuo can build it and have better time with it,not to mention bruisers can have an aoe heal every 6 seconds or lower the only real tip on how not to die is be fed asf and oneshot them before they oneshot you
My favorite part of your video is where you pretend that most assassins don't auto build serpent's fang half the games to deal with shieldbow and sterak's gage. On a side note, adc's *really* need an anti-shield item that gives crit and attack speed. I don't want to be forced to choose lethality over attack speed/crit.
I very rarely see serpents fang taken in response to shieldbow - most people I see would rather buy better lethality items and be okay with being patient proccing shieldbow and going back in once its down.
Yeah, imagine if ADC's had an item that gave them......oh ill just spitball here....Lifesteal, a massive shield on a dirt low CD, some scaling HP, and the usual Crit/AS/AD........sounds kinda cracked now that im typing it out. Good thing riot wouldnt be dumb enough to put such an overloaded item into the game, right?
@@ACertainGuy0 Dirt low CD? Crown has literally less than half Shieldbow's CD while also providing HP, CDR, AP and Mana as well as a broken passive that makes you tankier than a Tahm Kench The scaling HP you mention gives the same as a basic legendary mage item and provides no resistances at all. And the shield can be countered by 2 cheaper items or even, y'know, backing off with the superior mobility of every class after it procs.
Crown: +60 ability power +20 ability haste +250 health +600 mana 8-40 AP (Passive) 1-5% Movespeed (Passive) Shieldbow: +55 attack damage +20% attack speed +20% critical strike chance +10% life steal 5-25 AD (Passive) 50-250 HP (Passive) Mana is not an offensive stat, Health is not an offensive stat, Movespeed is not an (directly) offensive stat. 3 of the stats on this item contribute nothing to the mage being able to do more raw damage to an opponent. Meanwhile shieldbow has....2 non-offensive stats (Mythic HP and Lifesteal) and still gets an insanely strong shield that requires you commit fully into them to blow the shield as opposed to safeguard's shield being able to be removed by a single poke or AA from any champion. I do not need to commit anything but 1 ability or 1 AA into a crown to pop it, I need to all in on the Shieldbow to pop it AND in order to get it into a fair shield amount that an assassin could blow through easily (lategame assassins arent blowing up an 800 point shield after they just dumped everything to get it to snow up in the first place) I need to blow 2800g (Serpent's fang). Crowns counter is 1 poke, Shieldbows counter is 2800g and all of my resources......wanna explain to me how crown is broken still by comparison?
@@ACertainGuy0 yeah also imagine if assassins can build an aoe heal item On an even MORE LOWER CD or have an item make them have shield for every 2 attacks
I don't think so. It's pretty easy to pop bone plating, whereas conditioning/overgrowth have 100% uptime (as long as you've made it past 12 minutes or whenever conditioning turns on). I'm pretty convinced bone plating is a bad rune tbh.
I did some basic calculations and as far as I can understand, Skill Capped got this one wrong. This is not very accurate, someone should confirm this: At 20min, level 13 adc, conditioning provides about 70 damage reduction if AD assassin deals 1700 damage. At 13 level, bone plating provides maximum reduction of 150 damage. I would say conditioning is not good unless you build some resistances, like armor boots and GA early. This is how it should work, right? Conditioning is clearly a tank rune, why would it be good on glass cannon.
I'd argue that supports(tanks bared) have it worse. Enchanters are just as, if not more, squichy, but enchanters don't even have damage to try to fight back. If the assassin sees a soraka in the enemy backline and doesn't go for her, they're trolling xD
Nothing makes me question humanity more than when you mention how you were straight one-shot by an assasin as an adc because you were caught out, and they go. "hhmmmm maybe you shouldn't be alone with an assasin then". WOW! THANKS EISTEIN! Damn, I didn't the smartest persion in the word played league, maybe I should also just try to win the game instead of losing right? Maybe jsut climb the elo ladder instead of just not.
It's almost like she didn't build shieldbow and went defensive runes as was said in the example. And they were 1 level apart, and they didn't show us Fizz's items. Ngl, both this example and what you say sounds fishy, why not show us Fizz's items?
Wait a Minute about Kass and Ren match up, they were even then you saying Kassadin has the advantage in Lane? O dear you didn't explain that very well, Renekton has the slight advantage due to still the early game, Ren dorps off around about Level 12. I know kassadin can instant flash damage with his R, however As a Renekton player you wait till jumps on you, or you lessen the lane then jump on kassadin.
@@wladynosz1565 thats is true however you missed the point, As a Renekton player have to baited him to attack you or you attack him after you lessen the Creeps. You want Kassadin to waste two of his jump or least one then punish. All fairness we can say that to all champion you needs good player, truthfully you need prediction skill to be good enough to react on other players. Other thing I know most Kassadin players waits to other team comes in around level 7 and still dangerous because you not only almost setting off the trap. Enemy jungler if had better map awareness they get 2of1 in mid.
The point is not that kassadin wins a fight at that stage of the game (probably won't cause renek lvl 7 is still strong), the point is that he didn't have a lead over him (kills and cs) and, if kassa keeps playing safe, he will end up outscaling him
@@joazz111I see you put it twice. I played both champions, even playing it safe with Kassadin is a dangerous method. Like Rennekton you need to punish them early. End of the day it comes down to opportunity really and good players knows that one. Even Passive players knows, they can't stay passive for a long period of time. I can go further explaining it to every finest detail like the passive keeps playing passively will pressure by enemy team and more jump in to that pressure pot until passive player is push out.
The problem with this is you expect the absolute sacrifice of your support... But as it turns out in low ELO supports are an EXTRA, they do nothing.... think nothing.... and isnt worth much other just walking ward. You know the supports I am talking about, ppl in low ELO.

1. Mindful sidelaning: safe routes, map awareness and give away farm
2. Dont let then snowball and avoid falling behind in levels: you are already winning by not dying
3. Group around your team, play around cc and attack them when they have committed to another target
4. Be patient and no nothing if you know he is saving his spells for you
5. Dont waste summoner spells if you are already going to die

A mini-map is the best skill a low elo player can get, honestly. It is unfortunate Riot doesn't have it enabled on all clients by default.

@Muffy depends on what you are building. if zed has ignite R and you are overextended then he can 100/0 you, but even then you can counter with barrier exhaust or flashing the Q. or you can just get zhonyas for the armor and to ddoge Q

Every adc knows that the Real threat is the enemy tank XD
Most of my issues come from fighters (irelia, yone, etc) hyper mobile, tons of damage but impossible to kill due to lifesteal and sheilds
saying this at the beginning so it might be in the vid, but a trick that i use is to quickly tab during teamfights to see if the assasins are missing, and where they are, then repositioning to counter that
I’m improving my mindset watching all these guides and identifying my mistakes as they happen. Learning from every match, thank you !
Randuins is also becoming a somewhat common fourth or fifth item on ADCs (especially useful into heavy AD enemy teams).
@@lantami1199

What to do as Azir against stuff like that ?
@@wladynosz1565 Not play Azir.
@@wladynosz1565
He has two obvious options. 1 being to just R the carry away, and 2 to E to safety.
ADC's like Ashe tend to have very low mobility/ways to disengage an opponent once they have forced the fight, (hence why this video put a highlight on vision/caution. Preventing the engage is the easiest solution.)
Contrast to that, Azir and other Mid-laners are loaded with dashes and CC to protect themselves with, Azir's R being his most prominent.
That said, you can still do what I said about the Ashe example. Identify who the Enemy carry is, and build 1-3 items against them, (by "against" I mean anything which would mitigate their advantage. Master Yi's advantage is his AA burst, so Death's Dance and Steelcap work directly against him as the DD mitigates burst, and Steelcap mitigates AA's.)
Even in a game where the enemy catches on to your counter build: There isn't much they can do to stop you.
That´s why it isn´t good to just "counter build" on Azir except maybe Zonyas or Everfrost, because he will lose a TON of his already low damage then.
people also seriously neglect exhaust. its a reasonable cool down. it destroys incoming damage and slows, it makes running or kiting easy. idk, i ran conditioning first, but then misclicked on bone plating. FEELS SO GOOD
i went green tree cuz i saw that the healing is the same on samira as taste+ravenous, but you also get more survivability
A more extreme solution is to splash a tank item into your build. If I'm playing Ashe and the enemy nocturne decides I'm the only thing worth ulting, I won't hesitate to grab a Randuin's. The active makes it such a good "OH SHIT" button when getting jumped by AD threats.

You lose far too many stats crucial on adcs if you don't have the precision tree
Other adcs can poke it off too easily and poke supports make it useless.
Anathema CHAINZ tho
Here's my tip: when you see an assassin that is able to oneshot you in the game, pick an adc that can stand their ground against an asssasin like Vayne, Xayah and Kaisa. And never 1v1 an assassin unless you are confident you can take them on. Remember: 1v1 is an assassin speciality, not adc.
*Me a Talon main watching this video*
the problem is adcs have a very weak later gameplay as mid game doesnt exist anymore, zhonyas rush? doesnt matter the assassin built axiom, shield bow? the yone/yasuo can build it and have better time with it,not to mention bruisers can have an aoe heal every 6 seconds or lower the only real tip on how not to die is be fed asf and oneshot them before they oneshot you
My favorite part of your video is where you pretend that most assassins don't auto build serpent's fang half the games to deal with shieldbow and sterak's gage.

Imagine if ADCs had legit defensive legendaries 😒
Yeah, imagine if ADC's had an item that gave them......oh ill just spitball here....Lifesteal, a massive shield on a dirt low CD, some scaling HP, and the usual Crit/AS/AD........sounds kinda cracked now that im typing it out. Good thing riot wouldnt be dumb enough to put such an overloaded item into the game, right?
@@ACertainGuy0 Is that immortal shieldbow ?
@@ACertainGuy0 Dirt low CD? Crown has literally less than half Shieldbow's CD while also providing HP, CDR, AP and Mana as well as a broken passive that makes you tankier than a Tahm Kench
The scaling HP you mention gives the same as a basic legendary mage item and provides no resistances at all. And the shield can be countered by 2 cheaper items or even, y'know, backing off with the superior mobility of every class after it procs.
Crown:
+60 ability power
+20 ability haste
+250 health
+600 mana
8-40 AP (Passive)
1-5% Movespeed (Passive)
Shieldbow:
+55 attack damage
+20% attack speed
+20% critical strike chance
+10% life steal
5-25 AD (Passive)
50-250 HP (Passive)
Mana is not an offensive stat, Health is not an offensive stat, Movespeed is not an (directly) offensive stat.

Doesn’t ezreal against fed assassin/dive comp build crown of the shattered queen now?
Now guide on dealing with master yi please. 😂
Would you ever take bone plating instead of conditioning or overgrowth?
I don't think so. It's pretty easy to pop bone plating, whereas conditioning/overgrowth have 100% uptime (as long as you've made it past 12 minutes or whenever conditioning turns on). I'm pretty convinced bone plating is a bad rune tbh.
@@jerrysun743 I imagine that it is better if you are into an aggressive lane but probably not worth it after the 12 minute buff kicks in
boneplating is bad vs range. they can just aa once and back off
I did some basic calculations and as far as I can understand, Skill Capped got this one wrong.
This is not very accurate, someone should confirm this:
At 20min, level 13 adc, conditioning provides about 70 damage reduction if AD assassin deals 1700 damage.
At 13 level, bone plating provides maximum reduction of 150 damage.
I would say conditioning is not good unless you build some resistances, like armor boots and GA early. This is how it should work, right? Conditioning is clearly a tank rune, why would it be good on glass cannon.
@@hardstuck1837 U really think you know better than these people ?
Challenge: play braum top in low elo
all you gotta do on adc is break even with the enemy an pray mid jung or top come to clean up.
I'd argue that supports(tanks bared) have it worse. Enchanters are just as, if not more, squichy, but enchanters don't even have damage to try to fight back. If the assassin sees a soraka in the enemy backline and doesn't go for her, they're trolling xD
Soraka has healing over 9000 and doesn´t need to go in aa range to be useful unlike adcs.
Cringebow + barrier?

Just play Vayne and build a shieldbow. Problem solved

Nothing makes me question humanity more than when you mention how you were straight one-shot by an assasin as an adc because you were caught out, and they go. Damn, I didn't the smartest persion in the word played league, maybe I should also just try to win the game instead of losing right? Maybe jsut climb the elo ladder instead of just not.
One of the highest burst combos in the game.
Can't oneshot the "squishy" champion.
And people ask why assassins build bruiser nowdays.
It's almost like she didn't build shieldbow and went defensive runes as was said in the example.
And they were 1 level apart, and they didn't show us Fizz's items. Ngl, both this example and what you say sounds fishy, why not show us Fizz's items?
That fizz damage is exactly when he have 1 item protobelt and a pen boot, i did test
A good Kassadin wouldn´t all in at that stage of the game, he would play very defensively til level 12.
You know the supports I am talking about, ppl in low ELO.
lol i play pretty much all champion classes. and id say all of them pretty well. But some adcs just completely disrespect me as assassin and limittest or just straight up int and get killed by me... my advice for those adcs: dont do that. its very cringe.
Flash is useless against assassin, Showmaker might not say but he already proof it.
Super secret tip professionals arent using is literally known for a year.
and the damage reduction 1000hp/shields + 20% damage reduction isnt 1200hp.
20% damage reduction is 1250hp
30% damage reduction is 1859hp

Nice hp rune shard btw !
ezreal literally can go crown and it's good on him, then proceed to go 2 dmg items into tank
Just play Lulu support instead and you will make the life of every assassin miserable, rightfully so
Easy: Shieldbow exists because it is such a balanced item
for any adc,but for melee
Did you seriously mentioned Ezreal at the end when you had a clip of him with frozen heart earlier in the video? He is THE best build-tanky adc in the game.
That was specifically talking about making use of shieldbow. Ezreal doesn't build tanky until his 3-4th item
