Pushing by default helped me get out of elo hell. But at some point I overextended this idea and I was pushing when I shouldn't. Another idea helped me stop doing it. If there is a teamfight going on I ask myself: "What are they fighting for?". If it's for objectives, I'll probably join. If it's some random fight in jungle for air I'll probably skip. And people like fighting for air.
Leaving lane to help a fight in the jungle is usually for jungle camps (jg exp, gold) as well as jungle priority; same as lane prio. So it's not exactly "air", but you should absolutely be able to make a decision on if it's worth it to keep your jungle safe or if you need to just give it up.
The way I curbed this issue as an adc was to make sure I synced my push with another teammate. As long as another tower/objective will be under threat, I go full send. At that point it doesn't matter if I die. My team will get something for it.

I still learned some stuff of course, but i feel like my decision making has actually improved a lot from when I started watching and that feels awesome. Even if, sometimes, I follow the advice and my teammates claim that I'm trolling (by getting three towers and mid inhib in the late game instead of going to a dragon fight we were NOT winning with the enemy so fed) , I still feel like I made a decent decision even if it didn't win me the game. I know I'm just like... one person, so my experiences aren't necessarily universal, but I gotta give these videos credit. If you follow the advice and learn to think for yourself and apply the concepts within you'll see yourself making much better decisions and starting to get more consistently decent plays.

@@checkyoursixgaming I just want to add this on. When he says at min 4:11 "nah i am out" he portrays it as him moving to the sidelande because he doesnt get anything done in midlane. But doesnt even mention how his toplaner is literally sitting with him in midlane for no reason. The lesson should be "switch lanes if your sidelanes come cuddle with no objective up" or "catch waves if noone else in your team is". I highly doubt he would have went top lane there if gwen was up there pushing. Additionally, the reason adc wants to typically go midlane after laning phase is to enable the support. As your support can much easier get vision and help jungle while hovering around mid to protect an adc thats typically more vulnerable than an lucian (same with your jungler) and much less strong on 1 item than one as well. Another reason is that its much easier to farm in mid while being save even when the outer turret is down than on the sidelanes. In other words, if you play jinx with 1 item who won lane dont just push your toplaner out of their sidelane because you feel like you cant do much mid and try to make solo plays without your team being even remotely close.

Just mute all. There is rarely useful information to be gathered from pings, let alone chat. If you are afraid, just try it. You won't even notice what you're missing and the benefits outweigh the downsides by far
As a jungler, I strongly envy my laners to not fight on a side where there is no objective. I ask them to push if possible into enemy side and then reset or help me invade/establish vision for future objectives. This works 70% of the time, so I keep doing it
Pushing it the right macro play 90% of the time in lowelo. Push tower ,push dive, push getting their jungler to gank ur lane, push to get their jungle camps, push to roam afterwards. Pushing wins you games, fuck fair 5vs5 drake or nash fights most of the time. And if you lost your lane...you push even harder. you play more agressive. easy as that
I used to be fair ADC main, untill I burned out cause of my team screwing up everything. Then a I started playing random champs on botlane. Knowing all the weaknesses of ADCs made it really easy. I just pick Sion or Pantheon or Trundle or Cho'gath... and bully ADCs. I can turn off my brain, do mistakes and be raid boss anyways.

That push at 15:00 is SUPER risky. That almost never works so I never go for it sigh... 9/10 times, the enemy collapses there. And ofc no vision lol....
This video was very helpful but it would of been a lot more helpful if you would of showed gameplay and examples of more games specifically a game against yone or yasuo or irelia or ekko on a champ with no escapes like jinx,Ashe, kog,
Because I’m pretty sure if that was the case and any of those champ were in this game he wouldn’t of been able to get away about 80% of the things he did in this video

That silver players on EUNE do know these types of things yet we still cant win cuz of how bad teammates we can get and we just cant simply go 1v9 i had a 13 loss streak just cuz of that its crazy how LoL works and how i have just almost hit gold i get last season emerald or dia players against me cuz LoL Matchmaking isnt clearly working
Never seen a mid laner asking me to go mid xD guess my elo is too low for playing with people who watch guides. As an adc Main i my soloq elo i can be grateful when my mid doesnt go afk when i even ask to take a Single wave mid
I ask my adc to go mid all the time so I can side lane since I tend to play champions who do well in the side lane, and let's be real, a majority of low elo adcs don't have Hector's map awareness or threat assessment so when they stay in the side they just die because they perma shove with no sense of when it's safe to do so.
Xd you are ahead, so best thing to do is ran bot without TP before baron and let them take it. If it was higher rank then some plat, smolder just clear wave and u gave them baron for free. But good guide overall.
Wait why wouldnt you just ping to drop herald at some point when you're sitting mid "doing nothing?" you can do exactly the same thing in any elo if you just ping lol
This is all well and good but when you push a side lane like that at low elo the rest of your team will take a 4 v 5 and lose the rest of the map. Even when you're the fed one doing all of the damage, people don't know how to be carried.
6:50 you literally see KogMaw in Tri bush with no vision on enemy jungle (who after giving drake) probably chills red side. Reengaging there seems troll, playing down your really poor decision making down as if it was actually good is hilarious.
exactly, bro was talking so pretentious the entire time when a good portion of his plays were coin flippy and he was only glazing himself because they went well. seeing no one on the map (they could be anywhere) with no teammate around and then glazing himself for only needing 0.2 secs to make the decision to push the wave is crazy he did bring up some good points, but a lot of his macro later only worked because the enemies were not making the right move/happen to not be there to punish him while making a risky play, which is coinflippy and not the "correct play" because a play working out does not immediately make it a good play. a play is good if you considered all of the factors and decided to push through with it because the pros outweigh the cons. so, for example, using all your summs to get a huge bounty. staying to kill smolder there was not a good play because kog was near (for some reason he did not back smolder up), no vision on jarvan, a champ that can just e+q and r and kill you, and he had a bounty (general rule of thumb is to play safer when ahead because you're stronger than the enemy by default; only way to lose the game is to lose your lead by dying and giving them resources. if you're behind, making risky plays are more warranted because you're likely gonna lose anyways if you don't tip the scales.)

Yeah, then the enemy mid laner who can clear a wave with 2 skills swap with bot lane and you will stay farming waves the exact same way you would on mid but more risky
Thats fine, but i see crealy problems when they have any assasin or a tank who being 2lvl behind and 2k gold still killing you. So without vision you cant push waves safely,a nd you cannot get nothig in the game while your team still losing fights without you
They should look into the possibility of making the content in Spanish. Honestly, in Spanish there are no good content creators who explain everything 100% and watching it with subtitles is not very pleasant. I think it would be very useful and would attract many people.
She probably needs to mirror the same strat as lucian.. she was trying to be everywhere at once as the carry, and when you do that, you get nothing done because you get stuck defending the plays the enemy is making. its hella annoying when your team cant do anything without you.
I've seen this in comments, but it's truth: basicly you telling me play ADC as i play splitpushers like yorick or fiora. the only difference that dmg/surviveability is shifted to dmg even further to dmg(compared to nasus or sion). I found what i could polish in my gameplay, but essentially whole video is about "how to play splitpusher that cant be responded by single person". If you can't win 1v1 against 2-3 enemies, pushing/farming becomes a nightmare. And as was told this style goes good ONLY if you are mechanicly superior that usually not truth and you like an inch better then your opponent. And may god help you, if you manage to fail 2 skilechecks. Gold difference would stomp your skill advantage

That dragon play where he goes mid to push the lane would get me assaulted and blamed on my Elo.
Correct call but my teammates don't think so
Agreed followed by the Mid/Top following you around making sure you get no farm.
@@Skyr0_69 followed by them forcing team fights they cannot win. So you are now on a 20-30 losing streak cause the match making is FUCKING DOG SHIT! Ops I got sidetracked
its okay, It happens really often even in high elo. Just do the correct play and ignore other things. Do not let your teammates control your plays, if so you will stay as the same elo of your teammates with their decisionmaking abilities.
Just mute all. There is rarely useful information to be gathered from pings, let alone chat. If you are afraid, just try it. You won't even notice what you're missing and the benefits outweigh the downsides by far
there was no reason to flame you, the drag was already secured... you being there just wasting your time.
I really needed this guide, I know what to do in the first minutes of the game but later Idk what to do in late game and how to react
As a jungler, I strongly envy my laners to not fight on a side where there is no objective. I ask them to push if possible into enemy side and then reset or help me invade/establish vision for future objectives. This works 70% of the time, so I keep doing it
"infinitely faster than yours" ^^
Ikr…. 😂
dude was really patting himself on the back consistently in this one
Just when I think I'm getting good I come across an opponent like you, who skill checks me... Thanks for the guild. I'm always getting better!
Pushing it the right macro play 90% of the time in lowelo. Push tower ,push dive, push getting their jungler to gank ur lane, push to get their jungle camps, push to roam afterwards. Pushing wins you games, fuck fair 5vs5 drake or nash fights most of the time.
And if you lost your lane...you push even harder. you play more agressive. easy as that
As a brand new player, this kind of thing just seems so overwhelming at times. I didn’t even know I was supposed to swap to mid after laning phase.
Great guide, thank you!
Hector’s voice here sounds like he’s trying not to wake his mom up in the next room
After 10 years of playing like an amateur this game’s psychology still fascinates me more and more.
I can turn off my brain, do mistakes and be raid boss anyways.
ur just trolling
ADC Players: "Phreak nerfed adc yet AGAIN, i can't do damage with autos, 1 enemy spell takes 50% of my hp. 90% of adc roster unplayable!"
Skillcapped: "You can't play this game as adc, just sidelane afk righclick enemy nexus. ignore all objectives, get reported by your teammates cause they don't know you can't play this game."
Riot Phreak: sounds good to me since i can abuse op support until i get rank i want and then i'll nerf it 5 times, i'll just make Swain unkillable and 1v2 every botlane at lvl 6 cause adc have no dmg to kill me in ult he he ha ha, losers, I am in charge here!"
1:15 man that animation is both genius and ...is that brain pooping?
The editor note at 4:00 made me laugh ou loud; thanks for the tips in the video, it was helpfull
I need to write down all these tips and stick it to the wall behind my computer. Wait….. you guys should produce a printable check list poster to stick on the wall. Good idea?
Could you make a video on how to survive a game where you're on the enemy side of this match? How do you recover from an enemy being able to push in like this Lucian?
Thanks for the tips hector! 😊
Thank goodness I was already doing number 6 on my own.
please provide a guide about getting useless supports and then trying to make anything happen. I'm talking Shaco support as Vayne into anything normal. What does Hector do if support ints or leaves lane and gets poked under turr trying to farm 1x2?
I have been saying cold=bad for league for years now. Thank you.
Does your course have Portuguese subtitles?
I want to buy it, but to really benefit from it, I need the subtitles to be in my language at least.
And now im curious what casio should do that game
You may be joking about keeping yourself warm, but when I’m cold or my hands are cold, they get clammy and uncomfortable while playing and I genuinely perform worse cause I’m in a constant state of discomfort and my fingers are physically not keeping up with my intentions. 😂
Play Blitzcrank ADC, you’ll easily make your team frustrated and feel like they can’t do anything
In Low Elo the other Lanes are a gamble. Also my lane is always a gamble.
i wonder if hector or any of the others skill capped players stream on twitch or youtube. any1 knows ?
Good guide bro
As someone who has played in top lane what I see is Pressure, Pressure.
"i spent 3 minutes doing nothing. this is the play i SHOULD have made. there was nothing to do"
me staring at his gold RECALLLLLLLLLLL THERES NOTHING GOING ONNNNN
6:50 kog was right below him and he had red buff slow so kog could follow up, i dont blame him for making that play since they likely would have run, but in plat people do not have monitors so running was likely the best choice here unless you wanted to take the risky 1v2.
at least that was my thought process
I never knew that’s what people meant when they said “this game is a heater”
And somehow Enchanter are super effective at making opponent frustated to the maxed.
That push at 15:00 is SUPER risky. That almost never works so I never go for it sigh...
9/10 times, the enemy collapses there. And ofc no vision lol....
Playing with one strategy in mind especially in solo is asking to be stuck in low elo
This made me happy
So your suggestion is to implement top mentality to adc gameplay?
You know what is actually funny? That silver players on EUNE do know these types of things yet we still cant win cuz of how bad teammates we can get and we just cant simply go 1v9 i had a 13 loss streak just cuz of that its crazy how LoL works and how i have just almost hit gold i get last season emerald or dia players against me cuz LoL Matchmaking isnt clearly working
one of the better vids
is staying warm actually a thing. MY hands are always freezing like disgustingly cold
That's Actually one of the better videos i have ever watched about Macro. Very well done.
This is the long way of saying “league of legends is not about having fun, it’s making sure the other side isn’t having any”
So this is why my adcs have decided to only side lane all game and feed the enemy team because they don't understand what a map and pressure are.
Xd you are ahead, so best thing to do is ran bot without TP before baron and let them take it. If it was higher rank then some plat, smolder just clear wave and u gave them baron for free. But good guide overall.
so whatf do u do when ur duuuumb afk team8s die and they follow u when u split pushing/?
is this a new version of Hector's hit and run strategy?
The only way you can annoy ur enemy is just jungle gap and sup gap as an adc
so essentially this video is, "I'm good, thats why I'm good" lol
Wait why wouldnt you just ping to drop herald at some point when you're sitting mid "doing nothing?" you can do exactly the same thing in any elo if you just ping lol
Theres no way this guy actually complains about farming. Yes sometimes the play is do nothing.
To sum this up: Learn the game. It's about objectives.
Reengaging there seems troll, playing down your really poor decision making down as if it was actually good is hilarious.
exactly, bro was talking so pretentious the entire time when a good portion of his plays were coin flippy and he was only glazing himself because they went well. seeing no one on the map (they could be anywhere) with no teammate around and then glazing himself for only needing 0.2 secs to make the decision to push the wave is crazy
he did bring up some good points, but a lot of his macro later only worked because the enemies were not making the right move/happen to not be there to punish him while making a risky play, which is coinflippy and not the "correct play" because a play working out does not immediately make it a good play. a play is good if you considered all of the factors and decided to push through with it because the pros outweigh the cons. so, for example, using all your summs to get a huge bounty. staying to kill smolder there was not a good play because kog was near (for some reason he did not back smolder up), no vision on jarvan, a champ that can just e+q and r and kill you, and he had a bounty (general rule of thumb is to play safer when ahead because you're stronger than the enemy by default; only way to lose the game is to lose your lead by dying and giving them resources. if you're behind, making risky plays are more warranted because you're likely gonna lose anyways if you don't tip the scales.)
Opgg?
Kogmaw cant catch you tho, how can he? You can see his location. You will always kill enemy smolder before kogmaw can reach you.
@@revv0o thats why you and the OP are watching these videos, maybe should watch it again.. the kogmaw was 0/3 and two lvls under Lucian.. I'm a samira main, and id pray for kogmaw to join as well xD. both kog and smolder werent real threats.
@revv0o the heavy speech impediment is the best part of the self glaze. And needing to constantly reaffirm to everyone that he's the most challenger challenger around. He sounds like he looks like the comic book guy from the Simpsons.
Yeah, then the enemy mid laner who can clear a wave with 2 skills swap with bot lane and you will stay farming waves the exact same way you would on mid but more risky
if you do this in silver you get flamed for not forcing baron while pushing bot wave
Step 1: Complain about no vision.
Step 2: Never use your blue ward.
Step 3: ???????
Step 4: Profit because you're smurfing and it doesn't matter.
looks like you won the mind games
now i'm facing people who have watched this video and how do i counter this now?
Alot of people need to watch this video I'd say this is some of your best work and I personally have several similar ideology/game theories
I dont have a heater, maybe thats the reason im stuck on gold
Thats fine, but i see crealy problems when they have any assasin or a tank who being 2lvl behind and 2k gold still killing you. So without vision you cant push waves safely,a nd you cannot get nothig in the game while your team still losing fights without you
HEI GUYS THIS IS THE GUIDE! IF YOU ARE A SMURF CHALLENGER IN A PLAT GAME YOU CAN SMURF!
They should look into the possibility of making the content in Spanish. Honestly, in Spanish there are no good content creators who explain everything 100% and watching it with subtitles is not very pleasant. I think it would be very useful and would attract many people.
So if you are playing as Cassiopeia, how can you win?
She probably needs to mirror the same strat as lucian.. she was trying to be everywhere at once as the carry, and when you do that, you get nothing done because you get stuck defending the plays the enemy is making. its hella annoying when your team cant do anything without you.
Thank yall now all my low elo enemys will play the easiest champs in unfair ways against me, goddam.
"u can definelty duel enemies as an adc" shows kaisa on full ap very much adc yesyes
snake vs mosquito
Its funny going from Masters games to a silver/gold smurf and then getting flamed by the hardstucks because “you don’t know macro”.
then what i can do to win the game when top lose mid lose jg lose
Is it really an adc guide ? I feel like it's usefull on every lane
Video starts at 2:28
Good vid. I believe. c:
You are playing in plat. I can tell you now that my teammates in silver have a really high probability to int my game if i play like this because they dont understand what i am doing
I often try to help mates and i die 😂
