For real, came to comment this. Played 80ish jungle games last season, better WR than on adc in spite of basically having no idea of what I'm doing. This season I straight up switched to mid, still higher win rate and feels way better.
This is precisely why some the best moba players are based on seniority. D2 and League high elo players have been comprised of the same player groups for multiple seasons and this explains it. Mobas are typically learned from "oh I didn't know I could die there, now I know," moments. And you only acquire more of those tips and lessons with more time.
My friend made his switch to mid last month, climbed to master from plat 3 and DM'd me after I asked how his climb was going: _"It's honestly surprising how bad mid players are mechanically after you switch from ADC."_ *Bruh, if I was ever doubtful about ADC being the most mechanically intensive role, this just cleared everything for me*
To be fair, if it's just one fed enemy tank and the adc is not fed, they're probably not going to easily kill him anyways until the lategame (a 2 item adc isn't going to shred a 3 item tank unless it's a Vayne). You could easily argue for the collector for some adc's in that situation (presumably the adc in question scales well with lethality). if their whole comp has a massive front line the collector makes no sense though.

haha in my opinion the reason why ezreal was throwing so much was because of first strike i have definitely felt in the early game that "i must proc first strike as much as possible" but now i realized it doesn't really matter; its only like 20 gold anyway. just focus on farming
wow, and just like '4 matches ago' i was playing with my friend and i was like "i really think people should stop following all the "best builds" so blindly", "people just go to a site, copy a build and runes and don't even look what they play against" (that was indirectly about him as well) and i was telling him pretty much the same thing as you did at 11:19. some people would go conqueror into a full poke team (which isn't always bad, i guess. some champs stack it with half their rotation, i get it)... and i don't mean adcs only there. at least i feel like this tip works not only in botlane. My friend is diamond and i'm only a plat, but i really think i'm right there. i will continue to take what i feel like is best for me. most of the time build from a site works, i won't deny that, but try something new and you will be surprised if you have put some thoughts into it :)
League is a very nuanced game. Sure builds matter but alot of time it comes down to did you punish the enemy mistakes hard enough/correctly. Which is what i've found to be the difference between higher elo players and lower elo players. Hell alot of higher ranks don't know basic fundamentals like some champion abilities but they're still higher elo simply cause they're just gifted at seeing the opportunities. My masters friend yesterday said 'wtf veigar stacks ap just hitting me?' xD simple shit like that they wont know but enemy cooldown openings, minion management, vision ~~ all there. TLDR: The right build wont make you better at the game, but it should make it easier.

She's trying to get gold and if the enemy engages, they just lose the trade if Leona is positioned correctly, especially with a 200 hp vayne early game being the opponent
They pointed out with the Morgana-Ez lane that this video was focused on what the ADC could've done better. Supps made mistakes in this video, and we can all say what they should've done, but they didn't, and the video is trying to explain what the ADCs could do to adjust around that
I think that there is a bit of wrong: ezreal is a safe pick tought for being "pushed", not till tower obviusly; but ezreal cannot push because he doesn't have power
Have you seen ruler playing ezreal? Hes probably one of the best ezreal players in the world and hes constantly in wave control, not getting pushed in. I had that pushed in problem with ez aswell but then i started analyzing on what hes doing different and thats his positioning. Hes positioning away from the enemy support on the side of the lane (at the start of the laning phase and when the enemy doesnt have a slowpush). That is in order to constantly poke the enemy with Q in order to keep his passive up while ez has the utility to move back with e if your enemys try to punish the positioning. The kit of ez allows for a pretty agressive laning phase, its just that most players position wrong inside the lane.

The Jinx death is a lot more debatable IMO. The video is basically saying Leona couldn't do anything in this scenario when Pyke engaged on Jinx, but I completely disagree. Leona played absolutely terrible here and could've easily helped Jinx a lot more, which would've made Jinx's positioning more acceptable. I'm not saying that Jinx was playing good either, I'm just saying that playing a duo lane is extremely unpredictable, so it's hard to know what you can and can't do.

You say Varus' mistake was not using his build/abilities correctly to punish the shorter-ranged Aphelios, and then say that this is equivalent to going onhit Xayah instead of lethality against a longer-ranged Caitlyn/Zyra lane. If it's correct to go lethality on these champions both to 1) punish a lane with shorter range and 2) to still have impact against a lane with longer range, then when is it correct to go onhit Varus or Xayah? Never?
Its more like Varus can abuse Aphelios with a poke setup, and since the enemies are pretty squishy he should go lethality to combo with that. With Xayah its that shes never getting any autos in since shes so much shorter range, so she should go the lethality setup to at least get use out of her abilities.

Ezreal is always going to lose the wave control game against most enemy adcs, that's up to the support to help. He has zero wave pressure because he only has autos and q and most other meta adcs have much stronger aoe. On top of this, you can't exactly make a gameplan in low elo based on champion select because you won't know the support you're getting every game and if you're telling me I can't blind pick the three champions you've previously said in other guides i should be limiting myself to then the advice all falls apart. Especially when other videos from this channel have said its better to be on your comfortable champion at this elo than it is to first time a champion that's a counter or fits better with your support. The only constant is you. Why shouldn't you pick your champion, no matter what your team is picking at this elo? You're going to see some disgustingly out of meta stuff possibly in every other lane anyway.
In low ELO climbing is easy, just pick a top laner that can 1v2 or 1v3 (Fiora, tryndamere, etc.) Just focus on killing who ever goes to your lane, destroy the inhibitor and go for bot lane path afterwards. Free ELO
also jhin and karma look to poke all game while ez can only go in when morg hits a q, almost impossible lane bcs whenever he hits a q on the enemy karma just heals it off
This video doesn't seem very useful since it relies on the adc and their support having the same goals to begin with. Often bot lane is lost by the pair having different goals in a lane and not communicating or adjusting their playstyles for each other. For example, trying to get wave control won't work if your morgana turns her brain off and puts her pool on the wave to hit the adc 1 time, pushing the wave dangerously close to the enemy turret and ruining your control over it in the process. MOST teammates won't change their gameplan even if you try to communicate with them, so I really don't see how this video is useful for soloqueue. If you have a duo then sure, but this does not help solo adcs much. Also, this opens you up to getting griefed by outside factors like an enemy jungler or mid ganking you at level 2 when there's no logical reason to do so. Some people will gank when it's the worst idea imaginable for them and willingly put themselves out of the game just to make things harder for a random lane. It's reasonable to expect players to make objectively bad decisions just to single out and kill you for no reason in this game, because that's how many people play even at higher ranks. Sometimes I'd rather make a decision you would call "incorrect" if it means I lower the risk of some asshole griefing me in one of the many ways your videos fail to account for. If you're in low elo I would honestly recommend just letting the first wave push into you and trying not to let it hit your turret. THAT'S where you really want it, because you're then protected from ganks while still having a good position to fight your opponents. Don't fight for level 2 advantage unless you're an aggressive lane that can cheese kill in a very fast manner. Don't try to push your lane, it's just inviting people to go to irrational lengths to gank and kill you, all so you can enable your lane partner to do something they might not even capitalize on. I could go on, but my point is that this video's advice has some unaddressed holes especially in assuming people will respond to you in logical ways. If you do what they say here, you will probably suffer for it. If you're below diamond then you probably don't have the mechanics or decision-making skills to capitalize on a slight positioning advantage, a lane partner who understands what you're trying to do, or the map awareness to avoid unpredictable random things happening around your lane. Because obviously, we aren't challenger like these guys are, and I think they forget that with some of the advice they give. They also forget that even they can't win every game in low elo, because sometimes the random bullshit factor in this game is enough to put someone down even when they're a challenger smurf doing everything with robotic proficiency and prophetic decision making skill. If you're not as good as them, this factor of random bullshit is something you should probably be playing around and keeping in mind constantly, because it WILL hurt you if you don't.
that's why league of legends should only be played as a premade team with comms. solo Q will never be true league of legends regardless of all the guides. too many things can be ruined even if you have a gameplan and your team is not on the same line as you
I had a game where I felt like the last mistake noted here was what did me in, for a slightly different reason. In champ select I knew I was vs bursty champions that dive in so I thought to pick xayah, and my support picked rakan to combo. We end up vs tristana and ap miss fortune, but thinking that due to the strong all in with rakan I could go lethal tempo was a mistake. I knew that lethality and aerie would be better for the game overall since their whole team was mobile, plus its her better build atm anyway. In game the rakan didn't play how he was supposed to, and through the mf make it rain poke with comet we get chucked out, and the game is over. If I hadn't played around what my support could do and instead built based on an advantage I could get by poking in Lane to avoid the tristana all in and keep them low would've been better in lane and in the game. Basically my point is gameplans also shouldn't rely too much on what your support should do as chances are they won't play properly and in some cases that loses you the game when you could've had a better chance with a different plan.

The main problem as ADC is the support. "You have a melee support so play for lvl 2 aggresive" my nautilus: plays behind eating every poke from morg and ez, dying constantly. Of course those games are winnsble, but its just frustrating to play ADC. Pick another role
@CyberHarleySamuraiRealiti Its been proven time and again that adc is in fact the hardest role to climb out of low elo with. Its the most team reliant and has the least self agency. Games been out 12 years, its been figured out already lol. If you're 'skilled' of course you'll climb regardless but that doesn't mean all the roles are Equal in power. A skilled adc would probably climb much faster being a skilled jungler/midlaner.

This is pointless. You can win your Bot lane hard but if your Mid or Jungle is getting smacked down it’s over. A fed ADC can’t do much against any fed champ that has a gap closer. Vi, Nocturn, Katarina, Master Yi, Kayne, Yasuo, Yone - Notice how most of these are assassins who’s main role is to literally one shot the ADC with a 2 ability combo. In low elo it is so rare to win a game as a Bot lane unless you coin flipped a team where 3/4 lanes are doing good. Also, low elo players tend to not play for the winning lane. That is, if their bot lane has a massive lead, they don’t lean into that lead. Instead of focusing on furthering a winning lane to give the team objective advantages, they all stay in their own lanes playing their own games.
As an adc main I really think this role has the most copium addicted players of any role in history. The meta is actually very bot lane focused right now Personally I find that if I win lane I almost always can find a window to carry unless it's just 1/10 games that are actually impossible. So tired of the whiners.

Ezreal and Morgana are terrible level 1, Jhin and Karma are really strong and have so much wave clear, your first example makes no sense. There is no way this Ezreal could have pushed the wave.

Jhin Q plus karma q is so much faster to wave clear than anything ezreal and morg can do unless morg starts w, which lets them get absolutely brute forced into trades and they auto lose the lane. Ezreal needs to let jhin push for a crash and stay healthy and then look to slowpush with the even minion rule. If you can't match a push then don't even try in the first place
I totally disagree here! I respect your guides and agree with most of the concepts BUT in this case it wasn’t hail of blades that lost his lane. Because after level 3 Varus with hail of blades wins every trade even in the range of his opponent’s. What he should do instead is abuse their level 1 by constantly pinging lux he wants to have more control in lane. If aphelios sona walk up to contest wave control, they always lose because they only have 1 ability since aphelios has no ability level 1. So it’s actually lux’s position/intention and game plan that messes things up here and the only way Varus could have impacted that is by pinging his intentions. Unfortunately, bottom lane is 2v2 and sometimes you lose or don’t have the amount of pressure you should because one of two messes up. You just have to play the in a wrong way to win and just hope you will outclass enemies later on. At the point that lux was afk at the first bush aphelios should ping her to get control of mid bush and zone opponents off the wave. If she doesn’t do it, then just play parallel line with her and hope enemies make mistakes because there’s not any chance you get control in 1v2 lane.

Especially when other videos from this channel have said its better to be on your comfortable champion at this elo than it is to first time a champion that's a counter or fits better with your support.
The only constant is you. Why shouldn't you pick your champion, no matter what your team is picking at this elo? You're going to see some disgustingly out of meta stuff possibly in every other lane anyway.
Just pick your champ and make ur game plan from there.
In low ELO climbing is easy, just pick a top laner that can 1v2 or 1v3 (Fiora, tryndamere, etc.) Just focus on killing who ever goes to your lane, destroy the inhibitor and go for bot lane path afterwards. Free ELO
also jhin and karma look to poke all game while ez can only go in when morg hits a q, almost impossible lane bcs whenever he hits a q on the enemy karma just heals it off

This video doesn't seem very useful since it relies on the adc and their support having the same goals to begin with. Often bot lane is lost by the pair having different goals in a lane and not communicating or adjusting their playstyles for each other. For example, trying to get wave control won't work if your morgana turns her brain off and puts her pool on the wave to hit the adc 1 time, pushing the wave dangerously close to the enemy turret and ruining your control over it in the process. MOST teammates won't change their gameplan even if you try to communicate with them, so I really don't see how this video is useful for soloqueue. If you have a duo then sure, but this does not help solo adcs much.
Also, this opens you up to getting griefed by outside factors like an enemy jungler or mid ganking you at level 2 when there's no logical reason to do so. Some people will gank when it's the worst idea imaginable for them and willingly put themselves out of the game just to make things harder for a random lane. It's reasonable to expect players to make objectively bad decisions just to single out and kill you for no reason in this game, because that's how many people play even at higher ranks. Sometimes I'd rather make a decision you would call "incorrect" if it means I lower the risk of some asshole griefing me in one of the many ways your videos fail to account for. If you're in low elo I would honestly recommend just letting the first wave push into you and trying not to let it hit your turret. THAT'S where you really want it, because you're then protected from ganks while still having a good position to fight your opponents. Don't fight for level 2 advantage unless you're an aggressive lane that can cheese kill in a very fast manner. Don't try to push your lane, it's just inviting people to go to irrational lengths to gank and kill you, all so you can enable your lane partner to do something they might not even capitalize on.
I could go on, but my point is that this video's advice has some unaddressed holes especially in assuming people will respond to you in logical ways. If you do what they say here, you will probably suffer for it. If you're below diamond then you probably don't have the mechanics or decision-making skills to capitalize on a slight positioning advantage, a lane partner who understands what you're trying to do, or the map awareness to avoid unpredictable random things happening around your lane. Because obviously, we aren't challenger like these guys are, and I think they forget that with some of the advice they give. They also forget that even they can't win every game in low elo, because sometimes the random bullshit factor in this game is enough to put someone down even when they're a challenger smurf doing everything with robotic proficiency and prophetic decision making skill. If you're not as good as them, this factor of random bullshit is something you should probably be playing around and keeping in mind constantly, because it WILL hurt you if you don't.
that's why league of legends should only be played as a premade team with comms. solo Q will never be true league of legends regardless of all the guides. too many things can be ruined even if you have a gameplan and your team is not on the same line as you

ezreals key error was to pick ezreal
I had a game where I felt like the last mistake noted here was what did me in, for a slightly different reason. In champ select I knew I was vs bursty champions that dive in so I thought to pick xayah, and my support picked rakan to combo. We end up vs tristana and ap miss fortune, but thinking that due to the strong all in with rakan I could go lethal tempo was a mistake. I knew that lethality and aerie would be better for the game overall since their whole team was mobile, plus its her better build atm anyway. In game the rakan didn't play how he was supposed to, and through the mf make it rain poke with comet we get chucked out, and the game is over. If I hadn't played around what my support could do and instead built based on an advantage I could get by poking in Lane to avoid the tristana all in and keep them low would've been better in lane and in the game. Basically my point is gameplans also shouldn't rely too much on what your support should do as chances are they won't play properly and in some cases that loses you the game when you could've had a better chance with a different plan.

The main problem as ADC is the support. "You have a melee support so play for lvl 2 aggresive" my nautilus: plays behind eating every poke from morg and ez, dying constantly. Of course those games are winnsble, but its just frustrating to play ADC. Pick another role

@CyberHarleySamuraiRealiti Its been proven time and again that adc is in fact the hardest role to climb out of low elo with. Its the most team reliant and has the least self agency. Games been out 12 years, its been figured out already lol. If you're 'skilled' of course you'll climb regardless but that doesn't mean all the roles are Equal in power. A skilled adc would probably climb much faster being a skilled jungler/midlaner.

If you realized, ADC is badically just farming and scaling until you get your core. That can be a pain to.climb Up. I just switched to jungler and man, oh man, its so fucking easy. So even fr skilled adcs It can be frustrating

This is pointless. You can win your Bot lane hard but if your Mid or Jungle is getting smacked down it’s over. A fed ADC can’t do much against any fed champ that has a gap closer. Vi, Nocturn, Katarina, Master Yi, Kayne, Yasuo, Yone - Notice how most of these are assassins who’s main role is to literally one shot the ADC with a 2 ability combo.
In low elo it is so rare to win a game as a Bot lane unless you coin flipped a team where 3/4 lanes are doing good.
Also, low elo players tend to not play for the winning lane. That is, if their bot lane has a massive lead, they don’t lean into that lead. Instead of focusing on furthering a winning lane to give the team objective advantages, they all stay in their own lanes playing their own games.

Jhin Q plus karma q is so much faster to wave clear than anything ezreal and morg can do unless morg starts w, which lets them get absolutely brute forced into trades and they auto lose the lane. Ezreal needs to let jhin push for a crash and stay healthy and then look to slowpush with the even minion rule. If you can't match a push then don't even try in the first place

I totally disagree here! I respect your guides and agree with most of the concepts BUT in this case it wasn’t hail of blades that lost his lane. Because after level 3 Varus with hail of blades wins every trade even in the range of his opponent’s. What he should do instead is abuse their level 1 by constantly pinging lux he wants to have more control in lane. If aphelios sona walk up to contest wave control, they always lose because they only have 1 ability since aphelios has no ability level 1. So it’s actually lux’s position/intention and game plan that messes things up here and the only way Varus could have impacted that is by pinging his intentions. Unfortunately, bottom lane is 2v2 and sometimes you lose or don’t have the amount of pressure you should because one of two messes up. You just have to play the in a wrong way to win and just hope you will outclass enemies later on. At the point that lux was afk at the first bush aphelios should ping her to get control of mid bush and zone opponents off the wave. If she doesn’t do it, then just play parallel line with her and hope enemies make mistakes because there’s not any chance you get control in 1v2 lane.
