Thanks for the re-upload. I just watched it again and enjoyed being able to watch it all in one go. My wife and I were slated for a 15 d trip at this park next week. Unfortunately, we had to cancel due to the wildfires that are rampaging the park right now. But, we were able to re-route to Wabakimi. Not too much of a compromise, pluse we snuck in an extra day in the park owing to shorter travel time to the park.
We have only 2 bucket list items, a lengthy Woodland Caribou trip and getting our daughter through college when she's older. Watching this was a real treat. The stuff dreams are made of. Someday...
I've been on three fly-in canoe trips in the adjoining Atikaki Provincial Park back in the 90s.....always hoped that someday I might be able to go back........some of my very best outdoor memories are from those trips. Watching the shots of flying over the lakes in a Beaver really got some sort of pleasurable neurotransmitter releasing in my brain, no joke!
So much fun to watch... thanks for sharing this adventure, I'm often amazed at how laid back Canadians are even when things are obviously very tough. Funny too. I need to visit someday. Thanks, Paul.
Andy said he saw a "dead" carcus. Ive not seen a live one. LOL... You two guys need your own show. I know you guys know your stuff but its fun to watch you two acting like goofballs.
Kevin, thanks for the great video. I see you paddling prospector canoes in most of your videos and wonder if that’s your go-to design. Most of my paddling is in places like Algonquin or aquatics (mostly flat water) and I wonder if the prospector is the most efficient design for those kinds of trips, or would something like a Cronje design be better for predominantly flat water. Thanks.
I have a Cronjie. It's quicker on the water. But I really do like the overall design of the prospector for various trips (open water, moderate whitewater, wind and waves, carrying capacity). The Cronjie is a little lower in the water - but again, a faster boat.
It was great watching this again. It really makes one want to fly out there.
Kevin, Love watching trips with you and Andy together. Always fun. Nice to "meet" Anne and Bill as well. Thanks for sharing.
Andy makes your videos special. You would be lost without him. Thanks 🇨🇦👍

Hey Kevin can you give us a little more information on that hanging kitchen Andy was using? Thanks
Bill Ostrom designed it with Paul Mason. But it's no longer available. Contact Bill on the old Ostrom site to check up on it.
