Man thats a great looking rig. I had done research on theses rigs when first getting my original 801. And I came across some awesome camo paint jobs that looked as this one does. You nailed the look down to the wheel hubs. Its a major plus of pop for the rig... Glad to see your lights are all up and running also. Are they always on when truck is on can they be shut off? If not later you can add a micro switch jumper as a breaker between wire lead in the belly of the beast some where to have the additional option. I'll try to show a set up vid of the difference between my lights I installed and the hg unit in which my p803a pro has. I need to install my new transmitter & sound kit in the transporter P802. The P802 rig between the rig weight itself, then trailer and the 870k loader hauling around my yard through grass was moving over 80+lbs dead weight of Rcs with no issues at all on a mini 2000 3s Lipo lol... Thats a great rig of power for the price no doubt 8-)..My long term vision over few yrs finally came through that day lol..hg released the trailer for their rig, designed strong as hell also capable of heavy equipment. 1/12 HG's are awesome rigs and parts are very reasonable also. As I've had only the Hemtts in 1/12 in 1/10 Ive owned the humve yet it didn't quite fit my 1/10 line up at the time and someone else wanted to buy it from me before I even had chance to drive it so I sold it off.

Its great to see you have fofilled your dream still cant bring myself to getting a piece of heavy machinery but I still think about it! I just dream right now of getting my hg trailer that was ordered in July right now its back in stock and has been packing in the warehouse since the 5th!!! Customer service sucks. I really hope it can work on the heavy haul and a 802. Just taking a break for a few days and trying to relax, back in in good shape!

Hey Gerry, I got one of these a couple days ago, they sent me a 16 channel 2 handed controller. I agree with you about the instructions, really crappy. I'm having a hard time getting the functions to work, those damn lights are a pain, not to mention the right side controller doesn't do anything on mine. Is that how it's supposed to be ?? I want to change it over to a stick/pistol grip controller. Any tips or tricks you can share about the 16 channel controller ??

But from what I hear the radio does all kinds of cool things but who knows without good instructions 🤔🤔 bob at hobbyconcepts does a change to a 6ch stick radio, and I have heard the one without lights and sound came with a pistol?? So no I havnt really looked into swapping yet.....sorry
Sorry gino! Its a old 5in halo action figure that was my son's (he is 27 now) so I didn't find any links but it is 5in and fits well! The lights were trial and error, the light unit is under the cab and I used the fog light plugs to make the lights stay on all the time!
Gerry, I know this is an old video.but you talk about the lights in it. my question is. when you said you moved the plugs around on the light board did that get rid of those stupid blinkers and the clicking? I have this truck ordered. also I subbed. thanks.
No problem Craig! Yes there is a y harness on the receiver for the steering I unplugged the harness and just plugged in the steering servo, got rid of clicking and plugged lights into empty socket on light board! Be advised light and sound kit is under cab!
Hello. I`m an "really old guy" from Norway who`s bad when it comes to repairs,especially electronics. Just got my 803a and it starts,steering lights sound ok,but it won`t go forward and back. The on off switch does not work,esc red light inside blinks fast. Some say esc is bad some say motor. I have an hobbywing 1060 esc,can i use that instead of stock one,and what about the extra wiering from the BEC,red jst plug. I was thinking to use hobbyw just to test if the car will move. there are two on off switches on the BEC as well. Should they be on or off. I have ordered new esc from Bannggod but take some time from China to Norway,buy the way ,it said when i ordered it sent from USA? u know if that can be correct?. Hpoe u find some time to help me out,or make a vid on explaing the electronics. Can i try with hobbywing without useng red JST plug connected? Thank u in advance.
Thanks for stopping by!! Have you tried to re-bind the radio to the reciever?? Or checked to see if you are using the right battery for the esc setting? For me when ever the esc blinks rapidly its either not getting signal, or in the case of lipos everything works except for throttle because it's in lipo protection mode.

I actually switched to Radiolink RC5gs but same thing,no run.But still,if i use a esc with bec built in,must i do anything with those two switches on the 15amp bec,(is it an esc too?) and will a 60amp esc be to weak? If you understand what i mean and fined time to answear i?d be glad. I always watch videos of yours but seldom comments,uncertain i have anything reasonabl to say hehehe,but you guys are very important for us who always will be a "novice". I really like your course outside,and the dogs seems to have a great time too. I have a little cabin i most use in summer,8 months with snow and cold puts a stop to much outside rc fun,but i wold like to make my own course. You don't have to redo anything, just move the direction control lever 2x quickly to the right for permanent lighting and 2x quickly to the left to turn on the constant flashing of all blinkers.
Yes the battery area could use a redesign! On my 802, 803 I cut a couple of the plastic battery straps so I don't have to remove screws😁 congrats on you new purchase!

On the light controller I moved the headlight plugs to the fog light holes!

The 5in fits in my 1/12, but to big in my 1/14, to small in the 1/10.

Hello, so now you put the battery in from the top, but with no battery in the truck can you lift the dump bed with your hand to put the battery in?
I would not try pulling up on the bed!! I hook a battery up threw the rear, lift the bed then install the battery. It's a extra step but not bad😀😀
