I really like these. Peridot in shorts is?? So good?? And I think fingerless gloves would be really fitting too. Some nice concepts my dude. I think the second might be my favorite?? I honestly love her hair. A few people have said that since her hair is a diamond shape, it'd be cute to make it some type of star or starlike shape, and I've loved this idea since she was wondering about her star

The first outfit is definitely my favourite, but even better if you add the glove(s) from the third one! Going by her personality and backstory, she likes having 'limb enhancers', and misses the ones that were taken from her, and the gloves and shoes are a sort of nod to those... maybe comfort items.
Making the gloves fingerless was a wonderful idea too, because of her tablet and whatever other gadgets she picks up and wants to tinker with - plus I think fingerless gloves really sort of give off a cute adolescent "fight me!" vibe, which suits her perfectly 😂
And the stars being on the gloves is great because I love the idea of the Crystal Gems' emblem being on her hands - which sort of first represented her Homeworld-issued finger-gadgets and helicopter and have now evolved to represent the source of her metal-bending (which she learned while with the Gems) and her general technical/mechanical skills. So they're really one of the ideal places to keep the stars. I could go on about the gloves but yeah I LOVE THIS

I really love the style on these! Like, the one-sleeved shirt thing? Woahhh! And then there’s those shorts going up halfway to Peri’s stomach along with how the upper star is on their chest but then continues down and onto the legs, you said? And don’t forget the second one, how the shorts and shirt is attached to each other seems to be pretty cool! I absolutely adore these outfits you put on Peridot, it suits them!

These outfit designs are all so amazing. I think the first one is my favorite,it's the simplicity of it that attracts me but it still manages to have the vernacular of a gem outfit.
I kinda like the Third one too and how it matches with her field and the whole technology thing. I hope the crewniverse thinks about peridots character when designing her reformed gem outfit and not just go with the star hair thing idk.

Even though this design *was* self-indulgent, it honestly suits her aesthetic a lot??
People always envision her with shorts, EXCEPT that they’re the shorts she’s seen wearing in the show, but with this, it still sticks to the shorts but with a twist, ya’ know?
They all have their own aesthetic even though it’s for the same gem. Especially the way you toned down the green! Omg. I tried drawing her once and it freaked me out because her skin was so close to a highlighter green. This still feels like Steven Universe but then again it seems so... you?? Argh idk how to word. J-just.. I love it, okay?
And yes. You need to give her more love.

I like how you toned down the colors to look more earthy, symbolic to how she is now more 'down to Earth' (heh) and more connected and loving of it, compared to her original color palette where she looked more neon and outerspace-y

I love how you made her color palette more earthy, it's as if at first, Peridot has more neon colors, more intergalactic and out-of-this-world, but when she reforms, having a more earthen palette, she is more down-to-earth and loving of her new planet, so she decides to wear it's colors, especially since she lives in a barn and is exposed to a lot of plant life and nature, I would love Lapis to have a more beach-like palette if she gets her outfit next

Can't wait to see the speed paints for Jasper and Lapis! I have my own peridot design that was peridot with suspenders and shorts, the buttons were stars, which I think I saw somewhere else recently. So it's cool that we both had the idea.

i really love these! i feel like they could all be within the show, like Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl have changed their outfits after poofing a few times, and i feel like these could be good "evolvements" of Peridot! like the first time she poofs she get's the middel outfit, close to her original but still more "crystal gem-y", then the second one time, she gets the first outfit, she's a little more confident now, and really starts to embrace her new place, and the third time she gets the last outfit. she's more confident in herself now, and she knows what she's capable of!
3rd Peri kinda gives me a Yellow Diamond vibe, or like if Peridot was a soldier gem

The 3rd one is actually pretty good. It mixes in some of the crystal gems components (Garnets gloves, pearls turtle neck, amethysts hung down shirt from season 1). It’s like she wanted to show that she was a crystal gem to use things that the crystal gem used.
Garnets middle finger part of her glove is because she’s always secretly flipping the diamonds off

Here's my favorite parts about your design!
The hair splits remind me when I saw the theory that Peridot's hair will keep on splitting from stress and will eventually form a star, her star, so that was a nice detail!
The first outfit looks a bit like Pearl and the rest were like Steven and Amethyst, the fingerless gloves idea, reminiscent of Garnet, really made all of them come full circle, each taking reference or influence from the Crystal Gems, also representing Peridot's friendship with them
The 'Earthy Palette' seemed to reflect Peridot's love and tolerance for earth and what she considers it's wonders, I think, at least the color palette for her new outfit should be included, representing her being 'Down To Earth'
Lastly, the shorts? Pretty much reminded me of when Peridot tried on those alien patterned underpants, I think Peri would actually want shorts like that since she seemed to like the underpants so much
I love this aesthetic it's very lowkey dark and Im liking it 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
