Backyard Bows Prime Inline Review

- Everything about this bow was a good decision by prime archery, re engineering the cams, the tempature controlled grip and sleek look is what appealed to me. Also it brought the heat, see what this thing pumped a 500g arrow.
Great review & bow.
A little 'warm' in Missoura today, Lol ? I'm here in the heartland of MO - Lebanon. This week is gonna be a Scorcher.
I was out yesterday -- shot for 4 hours, SR350 ('Bow of The Year') of course, just a Bag of Sweat.
Love the comprehensive reviews, keep'em comin !!

Not my favorite shooting conditions but I still get em in, and this week is gana be brutal
I noticed the same thing with the draw compared to my Hoyt RX3. I tested out an inline 3 last week and I gotta say, for being a 64 pound draw (my Hoyt is 65) it felt really stiff. Definitely something I’d need to get used to. I told the shop owner I would be back once the 2023 lineup is released. I liked the inline 3 a lot, especially the grip and the hold.
Have had a Inline 3 since March. Incredible super accurate and fast bow. So very happy with it. I am 48 and pulling 70 lbs. No problem.
After review I thought to myself the in-line 3 is probably the best choice, with the way the grip is place in the center
You can adjust the Bowtech FLX Guards in and out also. I've been doing that since they first came out on the Destroyer line of bows.
Just picked up an inline 5 on liquidation from my local shop(they were selling it a just below dealer cost)
Gotta say my PSE Brute and in-line are about equal in difficulty to pull back at the same draw weight… the in-line is definitely a smoother draw but still stiff to draw… but once drawn I feel like I can hold the in-line for much longer before going into a fatigued state…
I just bought an Inline 5 80 lbs 3 days ago. The Inline 5 at 29.5 draw is not a bad draw at all. I feel that it draws smoother than my PSE Drive NXT at 74 lbs.
I had a feeling it would, might have to get my hands on one to see the difference
@@BackyardBows Im getting 279/280 fps with a 560 grain arrow at 81lbs. I just finished tuning it but have yet to sight it in. I had a hamskea epsilon rest on it but had to remove it because of a low nock tear i couldn't get rid of with out the rest hitting my hand when shooting. There was no way around it. Hamskeas are too bulky. My hand got swollen. I had to change it out for a QAD . I was able to finish tuning it with enough clearance. I really wanted the epsilon but no dremmeling would get me enough clearence.
@@christiantorres6118 that’s a hammer
Hopefully you can review a Revex soon. I was sad Prime went to a fixed mod instead of the adjustable, but would be curious if you find it to be a better system.
Should be in soon and I’m pretty excited to shoot it
Where you at in Mo?
Did you test and confirm the draw weight was 70lbs? Thank you and your video is great! Thx, Brian
Yes if I’m remember correctly it was right on 70
How would compare the tuning process vs the pain in the but nexus 4?
I’m going to assume it’s simpler, but honestly have not had hands on experience with tuning the nexus, last duel cam I tuned was a prime ion and I ended up seeking advice and taking somewhere, a lot going on with 4 cams
Did you check the draw poundage (not shown in video)? Maybe the limbs are miss marked and they are 80lbs (difficult to draw and speed high for 500 grains). I have watched multiple videos and no one is getting the speeds you did. Thx, Brian
Wish I still had it I would run through our new chronograph Could have been running hot that day
I’m shooting my in-line 5 and my 550s just scream down range… my 450s are like lasers out to 40… wish I had a longer range available to test them out farther.
witch bow would u buy between prime inline or the prime revex model
Personally revex 10/10
Would you recommend it to anyone
Yes I would, the nexus no
You do not need a bow press to change the shim's!
I was under the impression that u did not need to take axle out but still needed to take pressure off cams?
I bought the inline 3. It must be a lot smoother than the 1 cause mine doesn’t hard to pull at 70. I picked it over other bows cause it felt so good compared to other fast bows
I did the revex with the longer a2a should be in next week I’m looking forward to comparing
Dumb music
Editing is not easy but note taken lol
