I kid you not, I rebuilt my 05 600rr just 2 months ago. Tore it down to bare engine. sent the fairings in to get painted Nardo Gray, and powder coated everything else black. Thing looks sick, and then I come across this build of yours today. Funny stuff. Love it man,
@@RKMotorsports You are welcome! Can't wait to see how she turns out. I know how hard it is to get everything right coz' I tried it once. Love the content.
It's not as bad as my 600RR from 2006 was!! :-) ;-) From my bike even the frame and subframe were destroyed!! On the rear swingarm all the welds were cracked… Bud with patience and some time for finding parts even mine was rebuild. Awesome bike, and ik love the look of these bikes.. They are timeless!!!
ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR VIDEOS DUDE🔥❤️ I really want to re build my own bike, I have no real motor mechanic skills besides working on some cars with my dad but I'll find some way😅. Keep at it👍
good job buddy....2005 cbr600rr model is the sexiest cbr for me....my dream bike actually...nice work mate bringing her to life....sounds very nice and good looking too...well done...
Hard to break a Honda motor. Love mine. It was crashed at one time. Bought it with 13 k on it also. Has 17 on it after this summer. Did a lot of work on it. Put almost 3 grand into it this summer. Mines an 06. So identical to this. Irritating to work on at times with the electrical but totally worth it. You gained another sub. Love these channels. I plan on buying either another wrecked 600rr or a fireblade wrecked this winter and going to town on it. Cheaper and I feel you have more respect and passion for the bike when you put so much time and effort into it. P.s those fairings are dope.
Thank you! Yeah that's why I love working on the Hondas they are tough to kill. I have another 06 CBR 600RR with camouflage fairings and 37k miles on that but she's currently not turning over, I need to spend some time with her and diagnose the issue. I wish you luck on picking one up and rebuilding it, if you ever need any tips or pointers feel free to reach out!
I'm building a wrecked F4i. It's been an amazing, if frustrating, learning experience. It was worse than I had originally anticipated, but at least the frame and engine/tranny are in good shape. Bent fork tube, leaky seals, decimated fairings, messed up clutch lever that will need to be cut off, missing parts here and there, CCT, ordinary maint. I'll be spending a decent bit more than I had planned,
first 60s and i sub right away. Keep it up man.. How i wish i can afford this monster Maybe in a different world in a different time Rock on.. Ohh and don't mind the negative comments about the cursing it adds color to the content man :)

Nicely done, you have made this into an art. One thing Id suggest is to keep same tyres on. You have pilot roads in the front still, which are good tyres for wet and a sport dry tyre in the back
Refurb is ALWAYS the most satisfying way forward. I also firmly believe the 600-700 cc sports bike is the CORRECT size sports bike for the road. Litre+ hyper sports can only shine on the track. (Mirrors delete: check).
Thank you! I actually already have the other CBR rebuild posted, the GSXR rebuild will be posted tonight, and the triumph should be done in another week and be posted!
@@RKMotorsports looking forward to seeing them all. I love in South Africa and we don't really have such large quantities of crashed bikes that we can freely bid on. And when you do find them they are still kind of expensive (for a crashed bike). Anyway, I'm just rambling now but just wanted to know if you've ever had a 2 stroke road bike like an old Suzuki RGV or maybe an Aprilia RS or a Yamaha Rz? I know America is a bit more emissions focused which screws you guys with the use of those bikes on that side, especially California, but I know thar there are some around. But let me stop. I'm subbing now, forgot to earlier. Good luck on that side and enjoy the bikes!

Laid down my 05 CBR 600RR in October 2019. Replaced the stator cover, replaced oil and got a brand new set of plastics (I went with all matte black). Front cowl wouldn't go back on and it turned out the fairing stay was bent. Replaced that and the plastics went on just fine. Watching how easy you put the plastics on kinda pissed me off Lol! The bolt kit I got wasn't that great. The big bolts that go in the middle of the top side fairings didn't come with it just these tiny Allen wrench bolts with some brackets. Doesn't look all that great. I put everything together and tried to start it up and it wouldn't crank. Guess what? I installed the damn tilt sensor upgrade down! The only thing I can't figure out how to install is those 2 L shaped brackets that go on the cowl where the fairing stay meets the wind screen. I can't figure out where they go for the life of me! I don't think they are important but I have them and I would like to put them on. Nice job on the bike and I really enjoyed watching you go through all the crap I had to.
