I love listening to you talk Paul about rs500 you can tell you are the most passionate bloke in the world it's everyone was matched to a car RS 500 would be yours
To hear the passion and sentiment that this cossie means to Paul your heart bleeds for him, to say cars don’t carry feelings is an understatement The regret of not owning the car you loved and not getting it back hurts so much the smells the memories I am the Same about my old RS2000 😢😢
Bought a few bits from North Yorkshire RS Spares back in the day. Always very helpful and fast delivery. Pre internet days when all I had was a card with a phone number that I picked up at RS national day .
Paul’s an absolute geezer. So humble but you can see he really wants that car back. Who owns it now? Drop a link to their socials if they have any, Paul must know if he has! It’s a lovely motor
Great video Adam, it's always great to be reunited with an old car. It's great listening to pauls stories his Yorkshire accent makes it, lol. Ive noticed that RS500 has a Worcestershire registration on it. It would be interesting if it was originally supplied by Brooklyn Ford in Redditch, who were an RS accredited dealer. My Capri 2.0S was supplied by them. 👍
Hi Paul and Adam, great video guy's, car obviously holds a special place eh Paul. You'd love it back for sure we can tell. Learnt something today, that Irish fuel is poor quality, I assumed it was the same all over tbh.. keep these videos going, they are just top quality honestly.... Alex.
@@paullinfoot6017 It come across on the video Paul… lovely car tbh, warts and all..!! That shot of you driving it sideways on the track.. priceless mate… exactly what a Cozzie was made for, not sitting gathering dust eh..!! Can’t wait to see you and Adam out and up the road in it.. brilliant..👍👍👍Alex.
Great story and video. I never get tired of listening to your stories about Cossies I know I'm 57 but you can keep all your modern day cars to me cars stopped being interesting around 2005 Cheers Paul and Adam
These are my favourite videos of yours Adam, just you and Paul shooting the shit about Cossies. Also, those Tockford badges were standard on the Aussie XR6's and XR8's, can still buy them new through Ford
Hi Adam great video with Paul again. Southern Ireland is 95 0ctane E10 only we dont have any lower Ron. Northen Ireland has 95 and 97. In southern Ireland we can buy race fuel from specialist and anyone running high HP uses that or adds pro boost or eqv but pump fuel is asking for trouble with big boost.
Oh!! Come on man. I've got things to do and saw this video and had to drop everything. Love the content and always do. Is that Adams new Escort Cosworth in the background? I hope so❤ Keep up the good work and now I can get the hoover out😂😂😂😂😂
Sometimes a car just fits the build, character and it’s own personality and for me this exudes that, my best mates dad had a mallard green Gartrac Mk4 Escort 360bhp RWD and not wide arched it just looked like and rs turbo from the outside and that car also was like that, it had personality and character. RIP
I wonder if Mark is the same Mark who bought my Focus ST back in 2010? Mine was pretty much like an RS as I had it modified and tuned from new, so was as fast as a brand new RS for 10k less. He flew over twice from Ireland (once to view and then collect) and had loads of nice cars and bikes.
I could listen to Paul talk about Cossies until the cows come home. Tbh, I was never much if a Cossie man, but since following your channel (and later following Paul's), they've really grown on me purely for the nostalgia factor. Regarding the 90 ron fuel, can you not run a fuel flex sensor? I know people generally run them for ethanol (running more boost), but I'm wondering if it could be used at the other end of the spectrum.
I know a guy who bought the rs500 given to blonquist, he didn’t want it as not lhd, it came with a monster tune on it Ford said would take off later, he got the software copied by one of the big tuners, he went through four engines in warranty
The white lock shield is a Kilteck lock shield designed to stop the barrel being pulled out and protecting the ignition wiring also, they were invented by a bloke from North shields in the 90s
Great video once again. I've been following you guys for some time. You guys made me buy a 3 dooor. loooool I live in Portugal and its not easy to have a cossie here. Not alot of support or spare parts and getting stuff from the UK its very expensive. Can you release the spec of the wheels? Cans you tell what are the offsets on the compos?
Thanks for coming down again Adam to talk about my first love , lol , lets hope she comes home to stay one day
I’m sure you will own it again in the near future Paul.
@@3yourself Part-crowd fund it! If people from both your channels can chip in it might sway the owner to sell.

Could listen to paul talk about these all day. Really hope he gets it back. Nobody deserves a car back more than this man.
I used to have a mint XR2. When you see them 20 years on its amazing how small they are lol. Like matchboxes. I'd love another one though.
What a great car .I think Paul will end up with this car by time finishing the work on it.
Great video Adam was fascinating listening to Paul tell his story of the car. I genuinely hope he gets it back one day.
Could listen to Paul all night total natural 👍

Adam's best video to date.
He's a good lad Paul, I remember him from many many years ago at the RS shows way before these days.

A man and a camera mixed with a passion for cars is making a cracking channel 👍
Very clever with the wheels. I bet that frustrated a few people trying to replicate that!
This mans knowledge and garage layout is epic.

Fantastic Ford and best one to buy back. I'll love to buy one of my old cars back. Which I had so much fun in.

I remember this car when it was in Fast Ford magazine, had a poster of Paul's other car on my bedroom wall as well
Do you remember what year the magazine was mate?
@@roberthendy5861 not sure, is a long time ago now. I had every copy of fast ford from mid 2005 till 2010 but got rid of them all over a decade ago
This Paul guy is awesome!! But could you do a video on his dirt bikes that I noticed in the background?? Paul's got all the right stuff it seems😀
Remember seeing this at motoscope on the rolling Road 😊😊
Another amazing video Adam Paul is a legend .. very interesting watch
Great video very intresting thanks
95ron everywhere Ireland , we don’t have 98 anymore but definitely 95 ! Story sounds iffy .
That's stunning
I’m from Ireland and we can get 97 octane here super unleaded
Shame you can’t buy back - yet. Excellent video Adam.
Really enjoyed that. And I’m not even a Sierra fan-boy…
Do you think Compmotive should remake these wheels?
Oh yes!!!
Definitely

The RON in Southern Ireland has always been 95 they don’t do the higher RON stuff anymore on in Northern Ireland
NI SUL is 97.
