Now that's the way a corsair should look
Battle worn
That has to be THE smoothest sounding rc engine I have ever heard
Wish that was the only motor we could hear. I wanted so bad for the other aircraft to crash so we could hear only the Corsair.
Almost sounds exactly like a real one , amazing.
5년된유튜브 영상?
알쉬비행기공군전투귀?
Great build! I have never seen a war bird with detailing, and weatherization! It absolutely looks like a real F4U!
Holy cow that is the most realistic sounding RC airplane I have ever heard.
Man that radial engine sounds sooo sweet!
Wow! That folding sequence after the landing was sick! Such a beautiful model and well shot flight. Thanks for posting!
Thanks for watching! 😊
The weathering and detailing is simply exquisite. If I had to choose one RC warbird that would be it.
Agreed!
Mine wud be the lady alice the paint job on that thing is ridiculous and to think its foam iv clicked on it about 10 times to learn the process
The weathered look is amazing! That was the first thing that caught my eye. Up close, the detail is so accurate, you'd be hard-pressed to tell the difference from a real aircraft without anything to compare the scale.😁👍
The sounds are the same of the full-scale planes, if these planes are made to scale.
Just crazy it was so real. I thought I was looking at a food scale!! even sounds like it in the air. Most impressive 🤩🙏👏👍⚡️
Even the sound is scale to the actual, full sized aircraft. Beautifully constructed and excellent flying. Thank you for posting.
It's truly a work of art!!! I thought for first 30 seconds, I was looking at an old, used Corsair..., amazing, and that genuine radial sound, awesome!
Thank you all for your kind words about the Corsair. I will work with RC Geek to get more information out to you on how the model came about. Thanks again.
Thanks Greg!
Greg Thomas velomobile
Howdy all, is there somewhere I can go to, to see how this flying art came about? Blown away by the detail...
Gotdamn!!!!!! The detail is F-ing spot on. From the paint to the hinges. I really thought that this was a real Corsair!!!!!😉😊😎
Wow! That sound! That weathering! What an incredible model! 😀
This is the most realistic scale model I've ever "seen" (I've only seen it on video)
+Lozzie74 I can tell you that it was an amazing model! Everything about it was pretty insane.
Wow that F-4 Corsair sounds unbelievable let alone it looks great definitely one of my favorite fighters of World War II
That aircraft is a flying work of art. Such great detail!
That paint job is stunning. Real piece of art !
The weathering is next level!
VERY VERY NICE !!!
I CAN IMAGINE THE FEELING OF PILOTING SUCH A LOVELY AIRCRAFT.
My favorite WW2 era fighter.... such a cool plane.
And bad to the bone......
Big Jim's office. Love it. Very well done.
Sounds awesome in its own right!
Immaculate detail workmanship. Flow like a pro. Really enjoyed this video. Thanks
Thanks for watching! :)
The scale & detail on this beautiful aircraft is unprecedented, I honestly thought is real upon first sight of it 👍🏻
for a rc aircraft the engine does not sound like a lawnmower at all it acually sounds like an acual ww2 aircraft its so awesome
This airplane has a 5 cylinder radial engine in it which is why it sounds so good. This is actually the best sounding radial installation I've heard in a model.
@@Thercgeek, has "Greg" (I'm assuming he is the owner based on an earlier comment posted) ever came out with a posting on the particulars on this bird?
You mentioned it had a 5-cylinder radial engine, but can you tell me who the manufacturer is/was?
Back in my day (I've been out of the hobby for something like 20 or so years for a variety of reasons), the Saito brand was at the forefront of both radial engines and horizontally opposed powerplants. And, again at that time, 5 cylinders were the most made for the modeling public.
Man, this is getting my juices flowing again. LOL
@@user-td1zo3tv9p Unfortunately, the article never materialized. :( In terms of the kit, this is a comp-ARF kit. powerplant is a moki 250 which is what is recommended for the model: carf-models.com/en/products/f4u-1d-corsair
The most badass plane designed ever!!!
I don't care what anyone says the corsair is the prettiest bird in the sky
Not only does it sound amazing, it LOOKS incredible! That is some amazing detail and a top notch weathering job! WOW!
Thanks for watching!
I can barely put a puzzle together without flying into a blind rage and then there are people who can build something like this... nicely done...
What a beautiful plane. Congrats to the builder.
No warbird flies alone! That was the best part.
A-1 aesthetics and that radial.. my, oh my.
Man, that thing sounds legit.
This is the most authentic sounding moki radial installation I’ve witnessed to date. It sounds even better in person!
That paint on this thing is dead on! Amazing work!
Nice video of a remarkable RC Corsair!
Damn! That as about as close to the real thing that a model can ever get. Superb!
I'm in awe. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Dave
Thanks for watching! :)
The art work to mimic the aging of the wings is stellar. I'd like to see a video on how such details are done.
I had hoped to work with the builder to get an article written for my website about the weathering he did, but that ended up falling through.
That is skill and an awesome looking Corsair. And I agree on the absolute best sounding one I’ve heard. I wish I could do that hobby maybe one day, anyway thanks for sharing.
Agreed the distressing of the paint must have been all consuming so much detail fantastic effort 😉👍👏👏👏
A stunning paintjob you only see at display scale models. Excellent.
¡¡¡¡WoW!!!! The detail in the paint is AMAZING!!!!
That is a real Corsair! I am calling the FAA!
😆
That engine sounds 👌 perfect!
Nice very well detailed, authentic, the engine even sounds like the real one. Great flying and landing. I'm originally from Vegas also.
Fantastic Video and Model F4U thumb up. From Switzerland greetings Tom
Thanks man!
If I had money I would buy all this .... now and immediately !!! Fantastic and brilliant ... Uhhhhh....Appreciate !
I'm with you! I would do the same, haha!
I want the Carf model painted like that with Pappy's decals
El nivel de detalles de este suntuoso modelo del Chance Vought Corsario, supera por mucho mi capacidad de asombro. Felicitaciones al autor de esta creación en miniatura, no tan miniatura de radio control
All I can say is nice, nice, nice. The plane, the pilot and your video work. The builder even used real tape around the nose as in the real one when they had oil issues. Thank you for posting and God Bless from Florida.
Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching! Very good eye on the tape, the builder/pilot used medical tape to achieve that which was perfect.
Yeah I thought I noticed the serrated edges on the tape as I am all TOO familiar with medical tape (I worked in the window industry most of my life until I became disabled). Went to your home page and decided to subscribe. What video is the "Homer" T-28 from please? Being a huge RC and Simpsons fan, you hit both my loves. Plus if you walk into my house it looks like an air museum so we have a lot in common. Take Care and God Bless.
Hey, thanks so much! I apologize, but which "Homer" T-28 are you referencing. The one in my channel trailer? That video is here: ua-cam.com/video/4rzPdBf9_lw/v-deo.html
Yes, where the plane is taxying and disappears for a second, we hear a"donk", you move to the left and we see that the pilot misjudged the gate and someone went "DOH". Thank you.
Omg, it actually sounds like a real Corsair!
Very Nice!! The weathering and detail plus the sound of the Moki..... The perfect ultimate RC model.
Agreed!
Another quality vid Geek. It's a real pleasure to watch. Keep up the great work. Mal
Thank you and thanks for watching! :)
That thing is war torn i love it
I knew it had to have a Moki by the sound of it and then I read it it had one. They sound the best.
That’s pretty damn amazing!!!
Absolutely OUTSTANDING!
One of my all time favorite Warbirds and I wish my uncle hadn't sold his REAL Corsair back in the 60's. 😰
It is also one of the few Warbirds I never had the pleasure of wrenching on during my career as an FAA certified A&P Mechanic.
Ahhhhhh, the Good Old Days.
But this is truly a SPECTACULAR R/C model of an historically important airplane.
Where can I learn more about its construction, dimensions, powerplant and so on?
This is something I could sink my teeth into and (maybe) get me started building and flying R/C aircraft again.
Thank you for posting this.
Thanks for watching! This is the kit that this model started from: carf-models.com/en/products/f4u-1d-corsair IT's an all composite hollow molded airframe powered by a moki 250 5-cylinder radial engine.
@@Thercgeek, thank you for the prompt reply. As soon as I win a big lottery, I'll jump right on this kit!
Now if only they made a scaled down P&W R-2800 Radial engine to stick in that cowl! LOL
I actually have experience working on the real deal engine back in the day.
Talk about an oily and greasy mess.
I LOVED THEM!
Thanks again and take care!!
I forgot to mention that this video of yours was reason enough for me to subscribe to your page! 👍🤗
I'd want one w Marine Corps markings. I love the weathering and how it looks like a war bird. It looks and sounds great too. Thank you.
Just love the look and sound of the Corsair
It's hard to beat!
what gets me , is the sound . they sound just like the planes they were made after
Man that Corsair is amazing
Wow! Excellent video, piloting, landing, incredible detail of aeroplane, etc... Very well done.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Wow, gorgeous!
absolutely beautiful!!
Extremely detailed, sounds fantastic. I know this weird but the taping fore of the canopy (in reality used to prevent misting the windscreen with oil) is just, right. Can't put my finger on it but it looks "functional" on this one vs. decorative on some of the others I've seen.
The builder used actual tape to simulate the taped fuel tank seem. He used a type of medical tape that really simulates the look perfectly.
That's it then. Should've figured that with the depth of detail everywhere else. Thank you.
Best RC I've ever seen. Fantastic work.
Thanks for watching!
Best F4U yet. Same we couldn't hear its radial engine singing by its self.
Agreed! The corsair and CARF P-47 were alone in the air for the first little bit but then a glow guy took off half way through the flight. So I tried to work around that as best I could. :(
Need to deploy Triple A battery to take down the glow-plug pests !!
right?! haha
TIme to build in working machine guns ...
Sweet video. Great plane. Thanks for sharing. ~Peace
Now all we need is one more Dirty Harry film. Somebody call Mr Eastwood.
My FAVORITE plane of all time..
not the Tomcat? ;)
Corsair is favorite... Tomcat is my favorite jet and Corsair my favorite Warbird, but out of the 2, it's the Corsair..:)
was built from scratch? who did I take my hat off! respect!
This is actually built from an all composite kit that comes from a company called Composite-ARF: carf-models.com/en/products/f4u-1d-corsair
@@Thercgeek 🤓
What a beauty
Thanks for not putting some shitty music over this video.
no way, gotta hear that sick radial! :) Unfortunately, some glow guy took off halfway through the flight. :(
Amazing detail... mind blowing 😳
She needs a polishing... 😂
Now all it needs is six 22 caliber machine guns and the scale will be perfect
Amazing and gorgeous, well flown; what a sound!!!
Thanks for watching! It is by far the best sound radial installation I've heard in an RC warbird. So awesome!
Damn fine! Can't wait for the teeny superchargers for that whisling death sound. Lol
Awesome Corsair! I gotta go watch some Ba Ba Blacksheep re-runs now.
awesome show! :)
Sounds like the real thing
This guy is an Ace!
Aweeee man!!!! These Moki engines sound beautiful..ive never owned one but I hear their a nightmare to keep running right...correct me if im wrong Moki owners...in my opinion, for the $$$ they better be dependable ....for many years
What a fantastic video!!! That has to be a Moki 250? I have the FlightLine 1600 bubbletop. IMHO the F4U is the most beautiful bird made and is breathtaking coming in to land especially on a carrier approach to show off the wings! Thanks for sharing!!!!
Thanks for watching! Agree the Corsair is a timeless design. 😊
Gooolllleee!, It's got it all except pilot is not animatronic.
sounds awesome
Man, That is the sound I wan't to hear after a whole process of building a scale planes.
The Skipper would be proud.
Nice reference, although truth be told, he wasn't too proud of himself till towards the end of the movie.
Just saw a corsair at the vero beach airshow doing flybys. This model looks the same 😎
Nice!
All I want for Christmas is a Corsair airplane sexiest plane alive and believe me she's alive
Oh yeah, Love the Corsair!
Great sounding engine.
Awesome 👍
Nice plane good pilot
Awesome!
My second favorite Navy fighter next to hellcat
im about to start a full scale glider of a plane maybe this will be it!
Cool!
Some of the finest weathering ive ever seen on a WW2 warbird
Very Merry Christmas to You Mr Wolfe. Hope I could meet you one day. Oh yes, we have loooots of snow here.
Greetings from Santa. (Or Family Guy...Or something.)
Thank you, merry Christmas to you also! 😊
Would be cool to have an equally well done Zero do a mock dog fight with her. Go pro in both cockpits for live feed back. Exciting but extremely dangerous as was the real deal.
Right?! I kind of did something like that a while back, but without the onboard video. ua-cam.com/video/JkAukrEGUCM/v-deo.html
I want that...🤤
You and me both! 😁
I wonder what lawnmower you can source these radial engines from... ;)
Cool beans.
Great sound, but it looks a little short
