That was a very good video. However, as far as I can tell, you can't record an external loop and have the metronome running at the same time. The metronome only works when you press play. Which is not helpful sometimes. Or have I missed something?
long time learner here ! wondering why DGT2 wont sample my Left only mono input in stereo when Im using "IN L. R", post mixer and Dual mode is Off? i say this bc i dont often use stereo outs from my sampling sources. cant find an answer anywhere!

I think that’s a current limitation with the DT2 that it samples in stereo only.
Is there a way to sample and add that looop to a track without stoping the machine?
I think that's more of an Octatrack specialty.
i want to record from my midi keyboard in ableton using vst instrumets straight into digitakt, cant figure out how to do it, any ideas?
I figured it out, I put my digitakt as audio in and audio out in Ableton preferences
