@@azizaladwani000 Mine is very reliable. Very minor problems, I only changed a crankshaft sensor and a blower motor, not much more on 130.000 miles till now. I´m 178 cm, it´s perfect for me so surely no problem with 180 cm.
In this car it's shared 80% of its parts with the r170 generation of the Mercedes SLK its first generation with the 250 horsepower V6 engine so under the hood of this car is the 3.2 l V6 engine however unlike the SLK320 and this car has the m112 3.2 l V6 from Mercedes and it makes 250 horsepower
The car was designed by Chrysler and built under contract by Karmann because neither Mercedes or Chrysler had the spare production capacity at the time. These cars were mostly assembled by hand which was what made them so expensive and ultimately led to it being discontinued after only 5 years.
I just wish most of all that they made the S-R/T-6 package manual only. I know it’s a luxury grand tourer, not a true “sports” car, but it’s still a driver’s car, regardless, and the words “roadster” and “automatic” don’t belong in the same sentence. I felt the same way about the Cadillac XLR and the last Ford Thunderbird.
I think they look beautiful, some of the best looking rims ever designed, extremely reliable, if it came out today, you wouldn’t think twice if it was a modern car
I want to buy one and good news for me, no recent comments here, yes haha LOL. Thank you dear Bill, for the video, highly appreciated. Although, I got a bit nauseous watching it. Next video, keeping both hands where they should be will surely help a lot, no offense LOL. And yes, the issue with rear view and backing is noticed. Already searching Amazon for rear few camara systems, should only take a few bucks. Having said that, also find 4 pieces of blind spot stick on mirrors for $5.99 and thus ridiculed and hopefully silenced all design critics. Clueless they are, would Yoda say. Dislike the materials used in the interior ? Also found on Amazon, Chrysler Crossfire Wood Dash Kit trim $199,99 order now, delivered tomorrow with Prime LOL Why waist your hard earnest paycheck on a Pagani, no trim kits on Amazon, like seriously? Besides rumor has it that its owner manual starts with "Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate" LOL The next time you hear from me, I will have pictures !!!!!!
I always loved this car except for that mid-2000s Chrysler corporate fascia. With such a gorgeous retro-sleek body design, they went and stuck the same face on it as the Chrysler 200 sedan and the Town and Country minivan. It's not horrible, but it detracts from the otherwise smooth flowing lines. And since it's a two-seater coupe, sorry Canadians! You're walking home today.
Lovely car. Been liking it since before I could drive. The design is fab, the interior is a bit lacking (could have used some wood trim or less plastic). Seems comfortable and a good value for the money.
I have a 2008 low miles convertible version. It is the aero blue color with white and grey interior. Even after all these years, I rarely make it through a gas station fill-up without someone complimenting or asking about it. Although most just want to know what it is.
Fortunately, I have not needed any sheet metal parts. All the other parts are easy to find from any Mercedes parts outlet. Just punch in 2004 Mercedes SLK320 as the vehicle and you'll get the exact parts needed for the Crossfire. The supercharged SRT version is supposedly more collectable, but most of them have been beat to death on racetracks and parts are going to be harder to get.
That is a nice looking car - too bad they stopped making it - that’s the problem with Chrysler, they discontinue models way too fast and too much - nothing lasts except the Cherokee.
This might be a dumb question but is this all wheel drive? I was thinking of buying this car if it is but the small rear windshield may cause quite a blind spot.
Great little car. Super fun. Especially the 6 speed manual. I loved mine. I sold it to get my G8 gt. But I would buy another one. They are a great deal to, really cheap. You won't regret buying it.
That staged spoiler retraction could be a safety feature (I imagine it would make a good guillotine). Maybe it only does that when the spoiler retracts and the car is not moving?
I had this exact car, too bad Chrysler ruined the design with the horrible grille. The front-end dates the car, otherwise, beautiful lines. The aftermarket grilles aren't any better.
I love this car!!!..The problem is that you have chrysler parts and mercedes parts and NEITHER company is known for reliability so, if effect, you have the worst of both worlds and a rolling disaster-to-be on wheels!!!!
BILL: The design had caught my attention back in the day and now. Maybe 15 years from now it could be lawn art and have the goat's play on it and the birds 🐦 do their number on it.🐐🐐🐐🐦🦇🦇🦛🐈⬛🦌🦙🦉🐞🐜🥃☕🚬
Greetings from germany. I bought my Crossfire new 15 years ago and drove it 125.000 miles till now. I´m still very happy with this great car.
Is it a car with many problems, and is it suitable for a person whose height is 180 cm?

Interesting, when I was younger, I didn't like the shape . Now I like it and you can get a 6 speed manual with the Mercedes V6.. Great combo..
Love it. I still want one! They still look fresh today.
Just bought one last week. I love this car.
Omg i just got 1 today what do u think...i was so scared but it look so nice
@@nikradik love it!! Best car ever!! Classic and attention commander!!
I always liked these.
I think they should release this car again with updated electronics and 300 hp turbo engine
Your a good sell men I'm looking at one here in brooksville Florida I'll look at the Insurance on this car thanks x
Also forget to mention the same design from the 2008 crossfire but updated like said
I agreed. Completely

This is an excellent, fair opinion if this car by someone who clearly knows what he’s talking about. Well done, Sir!
I've liked this car since I first saw it.
I finally got one just a week ago!

I don't like many Chrysler or Mercedes cars from the era. But I want one of these
This car has aged really well
Yep, I finally bought one in 2024
Will be my next car this summer.
Great review. Greeting from Germany :)
Always very professional presenting the car. I do like watching and listening this channel.
Nice car but... even nicer driveway and garden, that's lovely..
Great looking car. Seen some in really poor condition. This one looks mint.
Beautiful looking, beautiful drive. Love Chrysler
I had a 2005. Same color scheme. Automatic. I hit 120 for quite a trench on the road to Vegas from LA. Felt like I was crawling.
neden araba kötümü 120 çok bi hız değil

I love the look of these things! I really hope I can find a good one before the prices get silly.
Sweet bro

Thoughts on the red leather interior version?

Cool 😎
Fantastic car! What was the MSRP in 2008?
Muito bom
I'd have to think about this car it looks great maybe l'll get it.
Not a bad car just saw one on the road and had to check it out!
Maybe the loudest Infiniti stereo ever, has a subwoofer behind each seat witch I blew out very quickly.
I drive the exact same color, 2004. Had a shutoff problem that I U-tubed and found a bad solder on fuel pump relay. Fixed for nothing.
The '05 I had with A/T didn't shift smoothly. I would get a white/red with the manual. A/T bites
I fully assume this car has sold. May I ask the price?
Great review!! I just put in an offer for one.:)
If it shuts down for no reason, it's an easy fix.
You'll love it, I just bought a 2005 limited coupe and absolutely love it!

Michael Serota rear wheel drive only. The blind spot is a bit of a challenge when backing up
Darn.. No thanks.. That's two obvious drawbacks off the bat.

The outside mirrors can be adjusted to give you full range or maybe install a back up cam too. I've never had a problem.

Very clean! Only downside for me is the Chrysler interior.
the Thunderbird coupe from ford is similar too
and you get a V8....they are giving them away....nobody wants them....I have l@@ked for the simple reason$$ and not 1/2 as much to get fixed
My 2004 XF is my baby, she needs alot of tlc but I gave it to her
This car took Chrysler out of the "crapper"....
classic kool FR
You know what the back end of that thing looks like a Marlin.
Legends say cupholder is still up🤭😅

Maybe it only does that when the spoiler retracts and the car is not moving?
It goes up at about 67mph and down at 44mph I think. There’s a switch to put it up or down manually
160 mph speedo, is not ambitious, it is electronically limited to 155 mph.
So are the bmw
Chrysler crossfire x ever
8:39~ "You know it's very special, the silver plating."
It's a lovely car but I always thought the silver plating looked cheap. 😒
My Son has one nice car
Actually the top speed of the crossfire is as fast as a 2020 SLC 155 mph.
Spoiled by being an automatic., The 6 speed manual is far better.
Well not everyone knows how to drive manual, most people don’t anymore
Maybe some other comparable.. Being this was a video 6 years ago, Nissan had a Z350 and Z370 that was comparable
Thats concentration camp role reversal right there!
Panamera took a lot of cues from this
Yep
Holt’s car.
Ill tell you as an owner.. that 160 speedo isn’t ambitious
It definitely reaches 160 mph on the speedo.
This cars ist real replique Mercedes AMG. Mclaren

That’s why VW and AUDI are a “love it” car, as they are so bland and so boring, with no distinctive design. So fit the dumb public just perfectly.
