I've had mine for 6 months and love it..
I own a 05 SRT 6 and I love it, its been reliable and tons of fun..and looks amazing.
Good for you.
I just bought a 2005 crossfire yesterday was 64,000 miles on it. Hardtop is the cloth black interior but I love it yes or some things about it. I gotta get used to, but it’s a great car. I love it. Yesterday was March 9th , 2024.
I'm in the UK with a blaze red 2004 manual, lowered springs, the naff silver windscreen surround colour coded to the body, straight through exhaust and cold air induction, it's nearly 20yrs old with 110k and my daily driver, it's the most reliable car I've owned, and I've had lots. All I've had to do in 5yrs of ownership is 6 monthly oil changes, one lot of discs and pads all round, and the odd bulb. It's an undeniable classic.
Chrysler made custom luggage for this car. Not sure but you maybe able to find a set. The wheels on the luggage are in the design of the wheels on the limited edition. They are kind of a collectible item and somewhat rare. Although the car did not really change during the production run BUT the owners manuals case covers did. Chrysler also sold a custom front bra for this car.
Another piece of trivia is the marketing brochures are really super cool and when the car was introduced they gave the press corps a really nice package with a CD about the car. Lastly the actual OEM repair manuals come in in different volumes based on the year of the car. Some are two volume sets and some are three volume sets, etc based on the year.
The car in the video is a one off color. Only available in that year.
05 SRT6 - Awesome in everyway
I own two: a 2005 Roadster MT6 that I bought new and a 2005 SRT6 coupe. Love them both, and both extremely reliable. I have over 62k on the former and 41k on the latter. They are summer drivers and garage queens. They still get lots of admiring looks. The only false statement in the video is about the spare tire - there is none. Just a bottle of inflation goop that is probably useless after 18 years.
I own one and love it.
Own a 06 limited at the age of 20 and it’s been reliable ever since bought
When you talk about the prowler, the biggest problem with the prowler if you look is right at the drivers door or passengers door, the step out where the lowest amount of fiberglass is that it always cracked. I worked at the factory in Indiana that made that body side. We literally scrap more than we could ship. That’s the main reason they went out of business we couldn’t supply them with a body size.
I bought one last year, a 2004 Limited with a manual tranny, LOVE IT! I honestly surprised by all the positive comments I get from it, most people aren't jaded "auto enthusiast". Your average person has no idea what this car is. Mine was lowered slightly by 30mm (1 in.) with some Mercedes 19" wheels.
i love your video, i love the car.. you made it entertaining and funny, keep up the great work.. these cars are awesome looking..
I have an 08 6 speed hard top , I love this this car. It's become my favorite car
Just got an 05 Limited Roadster with 29k miles this week. Love it
I have 3 cars 2 of them are Cadillac, an 07 XLR V and and 05 V8 SRX. The 3rd is an 04 Crossfire manual transmission.
The Crossfire gets driven most often, it's been my favorite for almost 2 decay now, almost 60k on it .
My very large brother couldn't fit in it, it looked like my Crossfire was giving birth to him when he gave up and tried getting out.
There's A spare tire under the false bottom (?).. did you know it has two different wheel and tire sizes, so which one would it be?
Got a 2006 plane jane 3.2 white convertible and is tons of fun and love it like my datsun convertible roadster :)
Love my 20O7 Roadster! Fun car!’
I have a 2006 Crossfire limited Coup six speed never had a problem with it and I own it for 10 years.
The car is just happy to see you, there is no spare tire
OMG lol every chubby guy I know says the same thing hard to get in. 1) put seat all the way back 2) tilt the steering wheel up, 3) don’t be so fat ! This is a sports car not a F-250 ! lol
This car is awesome to drive, a go cart for adults. This car is fast, why ? Because the government made them put a governor on it so it stops at 145-150mph ! Slow cars do not have that lol…A chick magnet too, my last 3 girlfriends loved the car, especially the heated seats because it snuggled them every time they were naked in the car 😎 👍🏻
But of a Marmite car,as we say in the UK.You sit her love it,or hate it. I quite like it,but the interior silver centre consol is awful.
anyoe who ever buys one of these cars needs to leave the radio-cd-head unit alone. They sound amazing as-is, you just need to burn some cds and keep them in the car.
Mom has a 2006 red crossfire on 24 inch rims
the concept of this looks better. too bad they had to go and use parts from Chrysler and Mercedes such as the hood. Plus making the length a foot shorter
There is no spare tire lol
There is NOT a spare tire in the Crossfire. Because it has 2 different tire sizes on it. 18" in front, and 19" out back. So they only put in a canister of puncture repair and a small air compressor to refill a flat tire enough to get you to a service center. If you are going to do reviews of cars like you are some kind of expert, Please do a little more research on the car you are reviewing.
😍😍😍🇧🇭🙏🏼♥️
Both of you completely ingress and regress Wrong getting in & out of this thing , Should also do a video if you haven't already a in & out of a Elise. That would be super funny. The Proper more mature way of getting in & out of anything beltline low is butt first on the seat then follow with the lower limbs for in & for out lower limbs with feet out and planted on the ground then follow with upper torso simple as that. Period
