I've been trying to play upside down for a week since seeing this, and so it seems my right hand, especially my ring finger ain't that dexterous, especially with reaching for the notes.
Hannah from Middle Kids also plays the guitar upsidedown, and, with the strings upside down. I always thought you'd re-string from high to low. Maybe there's chord books that have all the diagrams upsidedown too, but I'm not aware of one.
