I watched this series on headlight brackets, and I’m impressed with the simplicity of your designs. But much more I’m impressed with the simplicity of your fixtures - the ways you use to hold, clamp and locate the parts, often with very basic tools. Thank you, plenty of ideas and juice to start my thinking on other motorcycle items. It is appreciated. Les in UK 🇬🇧
I love watching people use a lathe on all different types of materials, never used one myself and probably never will, but it’s a great skill to have. Love the brackets btw! 👍
Great video Dan. Bloody excellent job mate, your mate will be super stoked with them. Motorcycle camping is the best, have a great weekend and ride safe. Cheers from the West.
Good looking brackets Dan. I'm currently making some of the other headlight brackets that you showed on another video. But I'm using them for my indicators. Fingers crossed it goes well. Cheers Alan.
2 comments in this video, WOW 😮. I had to go back and see what you were talking about lol, yes I need to clean as I go or it drives me crazy, especially with alloy and steel on the concrete floor, it's horrible to walk on and It comes inside my house way to often. Machining in thongs (Flipflops) is not ideal and kinda hurts, don't ask me how I know that. 🤦♂
I do a bit knife making as a hobby and i use a program called nanoCAD not sure if you any CAD drawing programs but might be handy for drawing up templates that need specific angles. As allways love the vid.
I think I responded to you on Instagram but if not, I started with a basic drawing and that changed mid-way through the build as I wasn't happy with it was turning out, so my drawing is different to the part you see at the end :)

Thank you so much mate and yes I’m looking forward to the camping I’m just waiting on a couple more items to turn up so I can strap everything to the bike :)
