Bruh it’s been 2 weeks and I’m struggling. I’ll have a total of 2 non consecutive hours that I don’t think about her. 4 years is a long time to have someone in your life. We broke up for 8 months before and that was hard but this by far is torturous.

MY ex-girlfriend of 4 years broke up with me saying she got tired of looking out for me. and for two weeks now and I am in no contact with her and she keeps sending me message asking me to bring her remaining clothes to her house. I ignored her message because I've been very busy now, and frankly I think she has a new boyfriend now just a month after out breakup. she sent me a message accusing me for "missing in action" in our club activities (because we are on the same sports club) among other things. and I can feel that she is mad at me somehow.
My relationship with her was so good... but some things were lacking. She dumped me. She reached out after a week of NC. She asks how I am doing. I choose not to play games. I tell her that's been a week with ups and downs. Trying to change things. She said that she's happy for that, but it's a shame that I choose to change after the breakup. And she's right. Yea I was in no contact for just over 2 months, I went straight into it after she dumped me and I didn’t beg or plead at all, I broke it via text message to coordinate shipping an item she left behind at my place to her. We started some playful banter and I invited her to a date and she agreed. The next day I tried to nail down a time and she was saying “maybe next week” “will have to see if schedule frees up next week” and was non committal. She selectively responded to some texts and not to others. Then the following week I hit her up again via text and we did more inside jokes and playful banter again. She was sending laughing emojis, lol and LMAO and all that. I tried to ask about her schedule again and she left me on delivered. That was 3 days ago, I’ve gone back into no contact. She was in a rebound shortly after she dumped me. So I assume she is still distracted by that. We were together for 1.5 years. He broke NC in June and since then ive received 3 messages in total , once every 3-4 weeks apart and our text messages are very short. Im of course, being indifferent with it as you say. However, deep down i want him to feel more fear of losing me, he did say he "didn't want to burn bridges" but i dont want to he a bridge... do you think i should send him some kind of "final text message" where i explain that i cant wait forever and i dont know how long he plans on figure things out for himself? Just my opinion, the best is to stay away forever. Forget them, forget their birthdays, their favorite food, their favorite movie. Hit the gym, exercise for your health and fitness. It took me one year to lose 25 pounds, but I am stronger, and my clothes feel better. I honestly feel my ex couldn't care less because she's a narcissist, but I feel much better because my body can do things much easier. I was at an animal rescue place over the weekend. I was able to lift and move bales of hay, fill up chicken feed containers and move huge dog shelter houses. My strength was complimented, and I was invited to go back. I plan to go back next week. It recently dawned on me that I now couldn't care less about my ex. She's no longer important. I am done losing sleep over her. It will be forever her loss. She lost a good husband.

Calling every now and then to say 'hey, kid. What's happenin'?" isn't being needy. What about in instances like mine where the guy discarded/ghosted out of nowhere after having a great dating experience for 3 months. I never chased him, i just went completely no contact and he reappears after 3 months with a cold message asking me to do something (unrelated to our relationship) as though he didn’t ghost me for several months with zero explanation? Just went from warm and caring, speaking and texting daily to NOTHING.
Please run, it gets worse if you stay and you waste your time.

Yea I was in no contact for just over 2 months, I went straight into it after she dumped me and I didn’t beg or plead at all, I broke it via text message to coordinate shipping an item she left behind at my place to her. We started some playful banter and I invited her to a date and she agreed. The next day I tried to nail down a time and she was saying “maybe next week” “will have to see if schedule frees up next week” and was non committal. She selectively responded to some texts and not to others. Then the following week I hit her up again via text and we did more inside jokes and playful banter again. She was sending laughing emojis, lol and LMAO and all that. I tried to ask about her schedule again and she left me on delivered. That was 3 days ago, I’ve gone back into no contact. She was in a rebound shortly after she dumped me. So I assume she is still distracted by that. We were together for 1.5 years. It was interesting she has not blocked me or told me to stop contacting her, she also asked how my son was and said she missed him. She was like a step mom to him. I wonder if she will hit me up if I stay in no contact again. 2 months just seemed like the right time to break it, but I guess I shoulda left it for for ever.

i’m the one that broke up with him, i didn’t want to but he was not motivated to show our relationship any attention. he barley would text me and when ever i would explain he is neglecting me he would say all i do is complain. however im sad! it’s been 5 days no contact and he has not reached out at all .

Me and my ex broke up 2 months ago, it seemed she fell out of love, as i would smoke alot and overall stopped taking her out as much but then i started to be better again, thought it might have been too late. We have been on and off for like 5 years so it was tough. she brought her friend over to break up with me idk why lol probably reassurance. Chased my wife after she left for 3 months been in no contact much as possible but we have 2 kids which I communicate about them. Been together for 10 years married 6. Do nothing. She’s bread crumbing you. ‘I miss you, can’t stop thinking about you’ is what you want to hear but she’s offering nothing of value. Show her it’s over and stop reaching out and responding until she gives you an offer you can’t refuse. Anything else is her keeping you as an orbiter.

Hey Coach, been following your videos for a while now. Ive followed NC and its been about 4 months now. He broke NC in June and since then ive received 3 messages in total , once every 3-4 weeks apart and our text messages are very short. Im of course, being indifferent with it as you say. However, deep down i want him to feel more fear of losing me, he did say he "didn't want to burn bridges" but i dont want to he a bridge... do you think i should send him some kind of "final text message" where i explain that i cant wait forever and i dont know how long he plans on figure things out for himself? We have a long distance relationship as well..im in sweden and hes in germany, i offered to meet him when he broke NC to talk things out but he declined. I made it clear that i wont ask him again.
You are at a point where he seems to be breadcrumbing. You can set a boundary and stop responding completely unless he says something more significant

@@johnnycalderon9951 sounds like an abrupt and confusing breakup followed by a lot of mind games to make you jealous and get you to fight for the relationship. communication sounds very poor in this former relationship. you both sound lost. if you cant identify and resolve the problems in the relationship, then both of you are not a match or ready for a relationship. maybe you both need time and space to grow.
Just my opinion, the best is to stay away forever. Forget them, forget their birthdays, their favorite food, their favorite movie. Hit the gym, exercise for your health and fitness. It took me one year to lose 25 pounds, but I am stronger, and my clothes feel better. I honestly feel my ex couldn't care less because she's a narcissist, but I feel much better because my body can do things much easier. I was at an animal rescue place over the weekend. I was able to lift and move bales of hay, fill up chicken feed containers and move huge dog shelter houses. My strength was complimented, and I was invited to go back. I plan to go back next week. It recently dawned on me that I now couldn't care less about my ex. She's no longer important. I am done losing sleep over her. It will be forever her loss. She lost a good husband.

Who's the one appearing needy? We're from the same neighborhood. I'll call him just to say, "Hey, dude. I'm at my aunt's house and thought about you." It's being a human being saying to another human being that you've shared an experience with that you matter as a person on the planet. I think we are teaching eachother how to be socially inhumane.
