Got 1 of these , amazing little gem.
Good bracket, works well on all my cameras and allows flip out screens to be useable.
These things are great. I really want to get one for my D3500. I know it is not a top of the line camera but I still feel real uneasy tilting it sideways on my tripod going from landscape to portrait view. This L Bracket would be so much better.
We've got ya - compatibility pics here: www.3leggedthing.com/ellie-nikon including the D3500.
Which l plate should i use for my Sony a7r ik with peak design clip?
The Ellie PD in either Copper or Grey
Hi what head is on the tripod just got Ellie and keen to try it out for panoramas.
That's the Airhed 360... great for panoramas!
Hello. I own an Olympus OM-D EM1 mark ii and and a Nikon Z7ii. Can I use Elie PD short with both cameras ? Thanks :-)
Hi Jacques, yes you should be able to, as you can adjust the length of the base to fit both cameras.
Hi, I noticed in the video you have the Ellie on a Nikon Z6/Z7. Is the Ellie on the Z6/Z7 FTZ Adapter compatible like the Zelda? Also, does the Ellie block any ports on the side of the camera? Thanks!
Ellie works well with the Z6 & Z7, but not as well as Zelda in terms of port access. It doesn't block any ports, but some cables may be a tight fit. Ellie hasn't been tested with the FTZ adapter.
3 Legged Thing Hi thanks for the reply. I reached out to the website and they told me that Ellie is compatible with the FTZ. I just received it yesterday and it is in fact compatible with the FTZ. The ports on the side of the camera are slightly more difficult to access because the weather seals are more difficult to remove however the Ellie does not obstruct any ports whatsoever. I think the Ellie is an excellent option for Nikon Z owners who want a bracket compatible with the capture. I’m mainly commenting for better visibility on this option for the Nikon Z as there is not much info out there but it would be great if pictures were added onto the website. Cheers!
@@12elentl3ss Awesome I was just looking for the answer to this question too. Are you able to remove the FTZ while its still attached to the tripod and also change lenses without having to remove the L bracket ?
Dylan Chen Yes, I do it all the time 😃. The only half struggle is accessing the side ports (minor). It's basically the perfect L-bracket for the Z6 with the PD capture
I just received my bracket but I'm puzzled about how to get the thread through it, it's too tight and doesn't fit.
Update - never mind I've figured it out!
Can a back black rapid screw be attached to the Ellie?
We don't recommend that you attach a single point strap to the upright alone, as the upright is not directly attached to the camera.
Which suits the Sony A7RIII best when access to battery slot is crucial - Ellie or Ellie short?
Please check the compatibility images on our website, they list which version is used with the cameras.
Will this work on a canon80d? Also, will it fit onto my Gitzo GH1382TQD Series 1 Traveler Center Ball Head?
Yes, Ellie will work on a Canon 80D. You can see the compatibility here: www.3leggedthing.com/ellie-canon. Ellie is compatible with standard 38mm profile Arca-Swiss type heads, so if your Gitzo head matches that, it should work.
@@3leggedthinguk what about canon 5d mark iii?
@@khalloukismail4426 Visit our website, there is a guide to tell you which cameras Ellie will fit.
do u have black color in PD version
We make Copper and Metallic Slate Grey.
Which plate should i use for my Nikon Z6 with peak design capture clip?
We don't have a dedicated L-bracket for the Z6 that works with the Peak Design Capture, but you can try our Ellie PD universal L-bracket - that fits the Z6 pretty well, with access to ports and the battery door. www.3leggedthing.com/ellie
@@3leggedthinguk which one would you recommend? Will the standard ellie PD fit the Nikon Z5? Or do I need to opt for the short?
@@RishabDevBhaskar Ellie PD is fine for the Z5. Clears the battery door.
Nice evening, is it compact with Pentax K-3 Mark 3? thank
Hi Pavel, we have a quiz on our site that can help you check. www.3leggedthing.com/ellie#which-ellie-form
Hello is this item rrs lever release compatible?
This is a standard 38 mm Arca Swiss compatible L-bracket. If that is what the RRS clamp fits, then it should be, but we recommend trying in store.
I take it that it is no good if you are using a battery grip on the camera
?
Hi Colin, we recommend our QR11-FB universal L-bracket for cameras with battery grips fitted.
Hello, will this work on my 1DX?
Hi Victor for full body cameras, you need to look at our QR11-FBC or FBG.
@@3leggedthinguk Thank you, just ordered the QR11-FB C!
Will it work with the D780
We haven't specifically tested with the D780, but we'd suggest the regular Ellie L-bracket. You can see compatibility with other similar models here: www.3leggedthing.com/ellie-nikon
Thats the head with the orange and black knobs
That's the AirHed 360 which came with our original Winston and Albert tripods and was also available separately. You might find some still in stores, but there are newer Albert and Winston 2.0 version tripods, and they ship with the AirHed Pro. You can see all the new products on our website.
Possibly the worst piece of editing on a demo video. We need to see more of the product and less of the geezer talking.
Hi Randy, I think you need this video which gives you all the features! ua-cam.com/video/gpIzVAVSKzs/v-deo.html
