Hi thanks for the review, the albert is almost perfect for me. So much reusable parts with this , which really save you in weight. The 3 legs being detachable give you 3 poles for monopod, microphone, gimbal extension, lights. The centre pole having the reversible column will let pretty much any tripod head to fit, I have another with the 1/4 - 3/8ths reversible screw and that let me put a bowl tripod head on. OK you lose the bowl function but having a pretty reasonable Video head on it is very cool :) With the tripod legs being removable, this lets you use 3 carbon fibre extension poles to bring up the centre even higher if you want even more height. which you might if shooting over crowds. One of the things with the albert is you don't always need a head, and the weight of the head can be substantial I intend to use the Albert with my Gimbal, attached which should work great for video shots even photoshoots The gimbal self levels. That bottom end of the centre post also gives a mount for my Tascom DR 60
