Wow, excellent video! I had no idea that creek had such a bank of clay. Even if I had known, I wouldn’t have visualized the extent. Love it. And good length too. Give the pups a big hug!
@@VoGusProspecting I have a dirty mind I suppose. I was imagining a different kind of bush that spit out cash when you enter the correct code (push the right buttons). Yeh, but you’re correct when you say you have to put in effort if you want anything to come out of that bush.
I'm sure you guys know this trick but others may not.....to find gems "easier"... spread out cons on glass or screen and shine a light from underneath and they'll light up....in theory
Yea, I’m kinda jealous. Most of what I have to work with is beach sand, and on the southern Oregon coast that means you still have to dig a hole, sometimes a rather large one. Unless you go to whiskey run.
I'm only a beginner but Reedy creek will be my first stop on my bucket of gold list along with meeting Chris an crew an paying my respects to the King of Gold Grizzly
I think Mick is onto something with Furn cleaning off the course tailings, she is a smart dog and I'm sure she would love it. Plus it would make awesome footage.
Too bad I don't live in Australia or in important gold-bearing areas, but it comforts me to have a gold-bearing river that, without giving large pieces, is hitting them in almost every punt. Now that I've seen the high bench I think I'm going to modify my sluice box with a mini-dream mat so I don't have to hit as much. This river does not have much water flow in 8 months of the year, so using sluice is not always possible. Very grateful for your videos, they are teaching me a lot. Thanks. Greetings from Girona, Catalonia.
There's a guy here in Colorado that has a channel called prospecting with Scotty. He puts a small, flat rubber band on the exit cone of his blue bowl to enable it to be run more aggressively and trap the fine gold that might otherwise be washed out. Looks too work pretty good. Amazingly, i haven't bought or made one (Scotty also has video on making your own blue bowl) to try out hack; got just about everything else.. 😉
Might have to put down the detector and dig some dirt and run it through the high banker and sluice for something different, you have inspired me to have a crack at doing something different. Cheers Guys

I went out into the wombat state Forrest near Blackwood a few years ago. Took a wood saw 🪚 and ran it through the bedrock cracks and got 4 grams in a few hours. Every time I plunged the blade into the rock I could see little bits of gold coming out every stroke.
That’s a lot like lynx creek mostly the top six inches but if you take time to dig deep you can get much bigger pieces and the occasional nugget thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏻👊🏻
After lock down I'm going to have a crack at that , but without the Highbanker no go in NSW's . I'll try my 888 Gold Rat in the river. Great information as usual. 👍

This is exactly what I did this weekend besides I didn't run it through a high banker I use that new little mini dream mat sluice which is my new favorite toy in my area all I had to do was scrape the surface of the hard pack which was only down 8 in and then I hand-dregged the top of the hard pack if I was to dig through the hard pack it'd probably go for four feet so I'll save that for another day but I did get me some blood floodgold
