Very nice! I did have to start my 2017 JK & then go to off to get it to initialize the (3) key/ignition-turn diagnostic. Worked like a champ, greatly appreciated!
Worked on my 07 jku, I got the code and then went back to look again and double check the next day and it came up but it was too quick and I missed it and now it just shows up all dashes
Incorrect. Yes, this is the procedure. However, as long as your check engine light is on, you can do this as many times as you want. Otherwise it Defeats the purpose of having the ability to read codes this way. I never even heard of a one time check if the light is on.
lol...sorry...but I cant believe ppl didnt know that....its been available ever since obd came out. My 1995 Jeep does it except a little different since its not digital readings. I bought my Jeep in 2000 and found out almost immediately ....Ive known for 23 years.
@@Bhicken_Nugget 50??? lol you dont have to be as old as the jeep to know. If something has been around 28 yrs plenty of ppl could have informed others!!! I can see why you didnt know!!

how do u do it on push start i try it
It didn't show me on my 2017 Wrangler sport
Only video that actually helped me
Thanks
Okay, so...
Any advice for a push button start?
Wish someone answered this.
@theleastofthese5445 did you ever figure out how to get the codes for the push button?
@danhendrixon
No. Check engine returned yesterday so renewing search.
Have you tried taking the push button out and the key out of the fob to attempt with the physical key?
Trying this right now but its only giving me dashes 😭 no code
Worked on my 2006. You're the best!
Happy it helped 🤙
What should one do if I missed the code? I might have been too quick..
So it will only show the codes once it won't show it again in you do the process again ?
I have the same question
Just record the dash when you check for the code, and then you won't miss it.
Thank you, thank you and thank you!!
Anyone know if this works with a push start ?
