I found this video looking forward to get a pedal, this one seems really good and complete on variety of effects, would you recomend it?? is ther any disadvantage or anything in particular you don't like about it??
I got the G1 which is the same without the expression pedal. It's not bad and a lot of fun, but it's a bit of a tone sucker through your amp. It tends to produce a sharper tone that you will need to tame with your amp tone settings.
hey, great demonstration, are this the default presets came with the device or are your own, I need that but in my pedal, any sound good, all sount very bad.... what is going wrong?
@givemeajackson you have the option to turn any of the effects off or use the pedal to control any given effect; volume, noise reduction, reverb, not the gains though. actually you can go to the zoom website and look at the manual if you want. I looked it up to see what was different between the g1x n the g2.1u., not a lot, new options and different names on a few things. but you can look up settings on different zoom pedals like i have g1x, but can look up settings on zakk wylde zoom.

If you use a wah patch with another patch, such as distortion, does the wah patch take all the low ends out, or since it's all digital, does the output sound the same but with a wah effect over it? I know that may not make sense, but I have a distortion pedal and a wah pedal now, separate. When I don't use the wah pedal, I have good low ends and mids, but when I hook the wah up too, it makes everything sound way too trebly like a tin-can.
Can the pedal on this be used as a wah? I mean could I use a distortion patch and make a wah sound with the pedal... or would I need a separate wah pedal hooked up in the effects chain? Also, is there any difference in the patches between the G1X and the G3? Does the G3 just have more patches, or are the G3's patches better quality? Thanks for any help.
The G1X is a great device, as is the G1XNext. Actually, you needed both variants, because the basic settings are different and some of the drives (type) are no longer included in the Next that are still in the G1X ....... I have the G1 XNext and I don't want it miss more
can i use the effects on that one with a normal amp? i don't waynt the amp simulations on that thing, i just want to use the effects with my amps sound. is that possible?
@CKS5000 so i dont have to use one of the amp simulators when i want a delay for exemple? i can use tha thing as a normal delay pedal without any change in the sound of my amp right?
He's not there to demonstrate his guitar skills, he's there to demonstrate a multi fx pedal . . and doing a good job by the soud of it. Knowing what guitar and amp he's using woul have been helpful.
At My moms house, i might get this for christmas... at my dads, i think he might of got me a cry baby whammy pedal... Since i can't find a good demo of the whammy pedal of the zoom g1x on youtube, then if i get what i think im getting i will do a video that compares this to the famous cry baby..
can i fucking preselect for example three patches one for clean A2, for distorition, B8 and wah wah, C0 and switch directly from one to oneother without passing by A3,A4,A5....?

G1X can be use as wah, with the wah patch and distortion patch. I think everything is possible.
G3 must have more and maybe better patchs.
