I am getting a PC for Christmas after 5 years on xbox. I am blessed for the time I was giving on xbox, but it will be awesome for PC mods to be possible.
While all improvements and advancements are cool and appreciated, I really wish they'd focus a bit more on the actual farming. Adding pest infestations (not just a "stage" in a crops growth cycle), rain amount varies and affects your yield, and more varied weed system (no more spray once and you're done). The actual farming part of farm sim gets stale and could use some more systems to make it take more planning and thought. All of these new "features" could be toggled off too, just like rocks and the like.

Weather ... none existant GEArbox ... worse than SIM games twenty years ago (including clutch - flashing text on screen IS NOT CLUTCH) last time they showcased DEER as ANIMAL ..as a FEATURE ... looped spawn ghost deer running thru walls ... as FEATURE .. LOLZ Maintenance ... there is no maintenance ... there is just fuel #2 which you refill at different trigger. Apocalyptic ghost towns. and static windhowling desolation of a nature simulation. its not a good game .. not anymore .. it was ... and its been as is .. for years. every title is 5% better than the previous one ... and therefore its still not even 2x better than 2013

The pc collectors come with a disc, but will you be able to download the game because i havent had a disc drive in about 5 years on any of my PCs/laptops.
it will come with a digital key code for you to download, however if anyone in Aus/NZ pre-orders the Collectors Edition, it doesnt look like they will get the key-Ignition at this stage
For a game, which is basically about driving around heavy equipment off-road, it should put some more focus into the terrain and mud and things like that...

The base version of it is available to everyone. The special edition is only available to those who buy the collector's edition, or the year 1 DLC pack.
The one thing I hate about Maps if they’re too small, I like a big map where I can travel long ways have a good time the small little maps they need to stop that get rid of and get rid of that. We don’t need that. No more goodbye small maps.

*Went ahead and ordered the collector editions for $75 on Amazon. Can’t beat that. Definitely hope that mods can be transferred pretty easy.*

I decided to preorder the collectors from the main website. Should they ship me the physical items? I can't wait to jump into a new map, etc.

Both. They didn’t talk about farmhouses much, but we talked a lot about them in the interviews.
I think Florian also talked about how the buildable farmhouse mechanic is 1:1 adaptable for modders to create other buildable structures.
