I've been going g through your videos, really enjoying them but this one is my favourite by a country mile. It's awesome. I love the long footage of the train running, and your right about the extra carriages it makes a huge difference. Keep up the good work. It brings a lot of joy. Bryn
I’ll be honest not the biggest fan of the Eurostar but I’ve got to admit that looks amazing. Well done with everything you’ve accomplished with the layout Oliver. Cant wait to see it finished
Fun fact the Eurostar class 373 was used on the East coast mainline as an express from London Kings Cross to York. GNER (Great North Eastern Railway) Hired Four Class 373's between 2000 and 2005.
I saw a Class 373 Eurostar next to the M2 whilst travelling back to London. Oh and an upgrade I saw on the railway was that the platforms were painted.
The British Rail Class 373, known in France as the TGV TMST and branded by Eurostar as the Eurostar e300, is a French designed and Anglo-French built electric multiple unit train that is used for Eurostar international high-speed rail services from the United Kingdom to France and Belgium through the Channel Tunnel.
A "consist" is called a "train formation" in British English, and "consist" is an Americanism. A Eurostar is called an "Electrical Multiple Unit", or EMU, and not a consist. I found I needed a power car for each end running on my layout, but you have got larger radius curves! Good job you got yours DCC lights fitted. It would have been a lot of work to retrofit these. I have got the Train Tech lights in my S stock train. I think they are good but pricey. Thanks for uploading.
Wow that's a great set up 😁. I love this train formation. Did you have to add weight to the motor unit or is it just default set? Anyway I enjoyed it 😊.
Hey I have a recommendation for a double header race, would it be cool to have br green flying scotsman and union of South Africa vs br blue tornado and sir Nigel grezley?
Wooooow LazerJet the Eurostar looks so cool i remember going on the Eurostar going to France, I wish I have the model of the Eurostar with 6 other coaches to make a 10 consist train
I have 2 Hornby class 373 aka eurostars, one in the GNER mallard blue livery and the other one in the white rose livery. That is aso dcc fitted with working lights , orange and red with a top white headlight.
Excellent video of your awesome Eurostar 1990s train in action on your layout and that is respectfully amount of coaches for your Eurostar 👍👍 Buy next the Class 800 Azuma’s in LNER livery as that will be the best one to have along side your Eurostar train. Also buy a TGV as well to get more and more high speed train’s for your layout.
I believe the Eurostar has only 18 carriages , bit of a short train. You need something like the Ghan or Indian Pacific or even the BHP now that is long.. All the best from ozz.
Awesome set JET!!! To anyone reading this comment and wants a model high speed train set of their own one day, I hope your wish would come true like it did to "JET" here.
I would like to call the eurostar with that many coaches "the European express" what do you think Oliver? Btw did you look at the MTH TRIPLEX steam train and plus i love the eurostar

Hearing your story about wanting the trainset since you were a kid really brought me to tears!! Enjoy your Hornby sets😊 They look really cool!!

The Eurostar is my favourite train
Edit:Did you know?
The Euro star 373 old had 3rd rail when it was at Waterloo and could go 100mph on it😮
Fun fact Gner use to operate them briefly before they used Class 90s.
who doesn't lmao
A wonderful addition to the LazerJet Model Railway (LJMR).
2:00 and 2:15 were very funny! 😂😂😂

I am gutted that Hornby never released the intermediate articulated coaches. It’s a beautiful set but I wish it could’ve been more accurate!
