Thanks! this really worked! my rabbit now when I open the door she bolts out and I can't keep up!🤣and she felt so safe she started flopping on our driveway!😂🤣
I have a very brave rabbit if it comes to exploring new rooms, places, even when we take him to the vet he isnt that scared, but super intrested in whats happening around him. I think he would love to be outside be he is really scared of picking him up and Ive tried putting a leash on him, but he just runs away. I dont want to force it on him, but at the same time I know it would be great for my bunny to go outside and just see more of the world. Some video on how to do it on not really that calm bunny like yours (he is amazing!) would be sooo helpful!
She looks calm in this video but at the beginning when we first started harness training she was also nervous. Try following the steps laid out in the video and ensuring he is comfortable in it, eating in the harness is a great sign. Always get your bunny use to wearing a harness inside before taking them outside, goodluck!
My rabbits like to run fast and then end up getting out of the harness so we are only keeping them places safe at the moment. This video is geo helpful, I will use your tips to help train my rabbits to like the harness
Yes please practice first in a enclosed area such as a backyard or within the house to ensure your rabbit cannot escape the harness. If they are coming loose they may need a harness that better fits them or to size down. Good luck with training and I am happy you liked the video!
Maybe I will do a how to hold your bunny training video next haha! It all takes time and patience Blueberry never use to like when we picked her up either.
Try letting him hop around in your home first and eat with it on to get comfortable. It takes awhile for them to get used to as they don't like the feeling of something around their body. However not all bunnies adapt to wearing a harness and that is okay too! Best of luck 👍
Every bunny reacts differently. I would say you can give it a try and see how they feel. As dwarfs are smaller though just make sure it is fastened correctly and never to put any pressure on their delicate back. Good luck! :)
@@BlueberrytheBunny thx for your response :) my rabbit is 4 month and still very shy she doesn't like to be peted. She always run away. So I will need to wait a bit :(
Blueberry is soooooo cute!!! ❤
Is she a holland lop? If she is that’s awesome because my bunnies are holland lops!!!!!
