- So today we are thrifting at Value Village for Spring 2024 Trends! I did the research so you don't have to, and I will be showing you how you can score the best stuff and where you can find the trends in the thrift store. Great finds..Just wear a denim jacket with the oatmeal dress...did not look too tight accessorize with bright bsg or earrings or a bright lip color. The denim dteds is precious on you, love the robe, amd love the vest. The leather jacket is a great find. The red silk blouse is so precious on you. Love it all.❤❤❤
The cream dress fits beautifully on you! Maybe you could dye it a new colour?
Helpful hint: I’ve found that colors that I think wash me out( but I really like the item), I add the color back in with accessories/make-up. Ex: shoes, belt, maybe colorful small scarf. Earrings. Maybe some pretty barrettes. Not necessarily all at once (unless you are a maximalist dresser.) I think you wear light make-up(?), do maybe a pop of a sheer berry colored lip, cheeks. Seems to help.❤️

The denim dress with velvet collar and sleeve is the same exact outfit I wore when my husband came back from deployment from Kuwait Iraq in the early 90’s ! Brings back so many memories💙

I love how you made that sweater vest look like a full on longsleeve sweater by doing a matching shirt underneath as opposed to a contrasting color
For that oatmeal flare dress, it's really cute on you! Maybe consider doing a contrasting color belt such as pink etc to make the whole look pop and prevent feeling washed out. Even a tan/almond colored belt could be cute with it if all that nude is overpowering. But be assured that even if you go without a belt, it is still cute! You could play around with heels/flats/boots & accessories with a pop of color to enhance the look also. I enjoyed the video!

The leather jacket and the red dressy blouse are the best. I like bright colours and jewel colours on you. Your dark hair and pale complexion are a gorgeous contrast to the bright colours. Honestly, I may have mentioned this before:)
Hey great video Rebecca! Maybe try getting your seasonal colours done. I have a feeling you’re an autumn and I bet a lot of those oatmeal and beige colours you don’t think look good on you actually do. I had this experience recently and it changed how I shop and look at colours.

Lol. I have rugby shirt and long tanks for layering. Not so much because low rise jeans. More accidentally thrifting crop tops for myself. Lol
Arm and hammer powder detergent with bleach alternative. Its amazing with odors including cat pee. My cat peed in a box of clothing i had under a spare bed and i didnt find out for months. All odor and stains gone in one wash. Also, it has been amazing at cleaning my chef coats and keeping them white, even grease stsins.
Would help you a lot if you could do a color test about undertone and discover the best colors for you, people who did say that it is very useful and fun! ❤

The oatmeal dress if you decide to keep it look at the material content. I would dye it a spring green or you could bleach it to stark white. Or you could dye it a soft blue to go with the trend color. Just a suggestion it’s a really good style and cut on you. I would keep it if I were you .
