Exquisite attention to detail and incredible creative talent for patterns and beading., I adore your work Sidonia, thank you for sharing some joy with us.
The jewellery you make is exquisite and I absolutely love your tutorials - even down to your laugh. They're always a pleasure to watch. I read the comment about it being slow - personally I think it's lovely to find a tutorial that I could keep up with and not have to keep pausing to catch up which makes it much more relaxed and enjoyable. And there was no loss of sound that I noticed, perfect all the way :)
Sidona I think all your videos are excellent! Your patience and explanations on these tutorials have helped me tremendously, this End cap is stunning! it will add elegance to my jewelry thank you again for sharing! One suggestion I do have is to cut your wires at the same time for each earring, this way you can make sure they are both even.
I made the prettiest little pair of earrings from this tutorial that I thought they even reminded me of something by Miguel Ases and was SO proud! Thanks for making my day! I made 3 different ones with very different drops, meaning that anything near 15mm long, even if not flat, worked for me. I also used 3mm bicones throughout for a smaller 12mm drop and it worked. Cool!
These are really beautiful earrings. It is also good to see how a mistake can be resolved. A real success and wonderful techniques, I will definitely be trying to make these lovely earrings. Thank you so much Sidonia.
your talent is wonderful, so lovely your pieces that you make, please don't stop inspiring people like me who have a little talent, more please. kind thoughts, Marion , from England.UK
Oh, Marion, thank you so much for your so kind words, but I really don't think you have little talent, I think you just have little practice. :-) Hugs from Italy!
I love this as with all your other beautiful work of arts in jewellery. You are very patient and your time and tutorials are greatly appreciated. Will definitely be trying to make this.
Hi Sidonia I really enjoyed your tutorial. Your earrings are beautiful. You are an excellent teacher and you do very nice work. Thank you for sharing. I am going to give those a try. Meryle
I find these caps you made so pretty that I just finished raiding my stash to experiment and make a pair (or more) of my own! As for the tutorial, between your supply list and the video itself, I didn't have a problem following or enjoying it. I'm, sincerely' glad you shared this, though you didn't really like how it came out. Thank you! :)
Thank you for this tutorial. These bead cups are very cute. I was thinking that instead of the headpin, I could use 20 gauge wire through the briolette in the same way. Also to avoid the movement at the top loop, I could make a wrapped loop. I think this would tighten up the top loop, as it could be wrapped maybe twice and this would sit up against the bicone. What do you think? Anyhow, thanks again for taking the time to make this video and share your creativity ! Bye now.
Hi, Valerie and welcome and thank you :D! Yes, you could use wire instead of a head pin, I would have done that my self , but I didn't have brass wire. Tha wrapped loop is also a good idea. :-)
I think it could work, but not with a side drilled stone, like the briolette I'm using. I'm afraid it could cut the thread. But if you'll use a vertically drilled stone, I think it should work very well.
Hi Sidonia :) This is so beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing. I absolutely love all your tutorials. You are such a great inspiration. Can I pick your brain please? My daughter is getting married and her theme is dusty pink, creams and whites. Any suggestions how I can make these with those themes? And what about a bracelet? I'm wearing a lacy top and slacks. It's a very beautiful and elegant theme and as the mother of the bride I have to look my best and your jewelry is absolutely out of this world gorgeous :) Thanks again so much.
Hi, Jackie and thank you! About using your daughter's theme color: I'm not very good with putting together colors by name because I need to see them to decide how to combine them. This is because I always decide at the moment: I put a few colors on my beading mat and let my eyes pick the colors combo. :-) However I'll try to squeez my brains :D. Dusty pink and creme are beautiful and kind of vintage colors, so I would try by using vintage rose or rose peach crystal drops and silk or light peach 4mm bicones. For the whites I would use the greige color. And for the bracelet maybe using the end cups as spacers between beads of the same colors as the drops? I hope this can help you find some ideas. :-)
I am loving this video and beading along. It's beautiful, thank you so much. I notice that, at 8:37 you have to go down through the 4mm bicone, you show it, but don't say it. This puts you at the bottom, where you need to be.
Love it! Hope i can find where to buy the materials you've using in your video.....very nice and cant wait to make specially the necklaces and earrings:-)
Thank you, Debbie! I purchased mine here www.perlesandco.co.uk/Drops_Briolette-c-40_561_801.html or you could use smaller drops and even different beads.
Spero proprio che riuscirà a fare il canale in italiano sarà più bello seguirla, anche se a onor del vero il Suo inglese è veramente comprensibile. Grazie e buon lavoro
Yes, Sarah, actually I do sell them. You can find them here: www.etsy.com/listing/187928492/beaded-earrings-earrings-made-with-3mm?ref=shop_home_active_1
You can find the drops here www.perlesandco.co.uk/Drops_Briolette-c-2626_40_561_801.html and you could also try other kinds/shape of beads, but you should first make (bead) one bead cup and then try it with different beads. :-)
maravilhoso esse brinco essas cores me agradaram muito teria como encomendar para enviar para o Brasil se tiver gostaria muito de fazer essa encomenda bjs!
Hello Tina, I bought them on www.perlesandco.com, but they are out of stock right now, unfortunately. However, you could try other sizes and even shapes, like rounds, with this beaded cap - I know because some ladies have posted pictures of them on Facebook. :)
Sidonia's Handmade Jewelry well thank You for responding so quickly and the advice on other alternatives. Helps a lot. Love these , love all your jewelry! Also love your voice! Very calming and patient. Thank you so much as always!!!
Sidonia, please use more thread! Your creations are stunning but you finish with no thread and your not teaching me how to re-enforce a finished product. Thread is cheap (when you think about it by the yard.) Use it girl! Get your inner bead to say "what the heck!" I love your creations, I love what you do, your techniques are timeless and your designs are truly, truly gorgeous. Keep them coming.
Buonasera Emanuela; sono in inglese solo perché volevo raggiungere più persone, nel mondo. :) Però sto pensando di fare un secondo canale, in italiano, prossimamente. ;)

Sidonia you are one talented lady. Thanks so much for being a teacher ❤️
You are such a good teacher! Everything I make following your videos, always comes out perfect! Thank-you so much for sharing!!
They are lovely! Thank you for sharing. The cup would make a lovely end cap for a bracelet too.
