Sidonia's handmade jewelry - Half Tila Earrings tutorial

Materials needed:
10mm Swarovski pearls, Bronze;
4mm and 3mm Swarovski bicones, Burgundy;
11/0 and 15/0 Miyuki sedd beads, Matte Mt Dk Bronze;
11/0 and 15/0 Miyuki sedd beads, Metallic Dk Bronze;
Miyuki Half Tila seed beads, Bronze;
Size 12 or 13 beading needle;
4lb or 6lb Fireline thread.

I love the design but have slight problem with the Swarovski bicones. They don't fit quite right. Just seem to be a bit too big and so the 'flower' bit curls. When I use Preciosa 4mm's the pattern works. I wondered is that only me?

I can't imagine why, are the Swarovski original? Have you tried to change the seed beads, color and brand?
Could you send me a photo of them?

I did break the earring down but will put it together and send you a picture. I changed the half tila's to HTL-458 from 457. Just a bit unusual as I never had this problem before. Oh well, we learn something new every day :-) Thank you for your help so far.

Sidonia's handmade jewelry The problem is with the half tila's. For some reason the HTL-458 doesn't work. It is a genuine product as far as I can tell. Bought it from the same supplier along with the 457's. All the other materials are also original. Thank you
