    Sidonia this was great tutorial. I only had 12 mm rivoli, so i had to go only four each of the 6 and 4 mm beads. It came out great. A few less seed beads. It was great. This is the first time I have modified a pattern. Never thought I could. So now new bead work ahead for me. Love all your tuts. Keep them coming. B

    I love these! Mine came out so cute as well. Your instructions are so easy, you don't go too fast when you're beading and I've learned a lot. Mostly, I like hearing you say seed bead. Love your accent!

    Hello Sidonia, thank you for another beautiful jewery design of yours! - I was wonderging, would bicones instead of fire-polished beads work as well for these earrings? I have many bicone left-overs but no fire-polished beads.

    • @Sidoniasbeadedjewelry
      @Sidoniasbeadedjewelry  10 років тому

      Hello! I think bicones would work, but the earrings will come out a bit different as the bicones are shorter than the fire polished beads. :-)

      +Madre63 It would not work with this pattern, try to use eight 4mm beads instead of 6mm.

    Beautiful earrings! But, shouldn't they be closed in the back with seed beads too? Just wondering...

    • @taccora
      @taccora 10 років тому +1

      You can bead the back as well if you want, but it's the 6mm firepolish beads that's keeping the crystal in place in the back.

    • @Sidoniasbeadedjewelry
      @Sidoniasbeadedjewelry  10 років тому

      Not necessarily, but you can do it if you want or you can use a non foiled rivoli.

    I used size 15 on one color and size 11 on the other. Maybe that's why. Or maybe the fire line isn't as sturdy as yours.

    • @Sidoniasbeadedjewelry
      @Sidoniasbeadedjewelry  10 років тому

      There are no 11/0s in this project, only 15/0s! :-)

      Sidonia's handmade jewelry I know! :) I couldn't find matte color in size 15/0.
      I didn't think it was going to be a big deal. I was hoping it might work. I guess not.

    I must have done something wrong. No matter how many times I pulled, the earring came out loose. The Rivoli falls out from the front. :(

    • @Sidoniasbeadedjewelry
      @Sidoniasbeadedjewelry  10 років тому +1

      You probably didn't use Miyuki seed beads, but a different brand which are a bit bigger even if of the same size. If you don't have Miyuki seeds, try and add four seed beads between each seed bead I added around the 15th minute. This way there will be two rows to keep the rivoli in place. It may work.

    • @StarkeyatRingo
      @StarkeyatRingo 9 років тому

      Sidonia's handmade jewelry This also happened to me when I was making the sweet romance necklace. I am guessing some rivolis sizes run different, for I use myuki beads. I put some jewelry glue on the back of the rivoli. I just made another discovery-the rivolis have different thicknesses. My 2nd earring's total surface was alot more than my first, and they just don't match. When I looked closer, the thickness on the 2nd is a lot greater.

      @@StarkeyatRingo Hi, I also had this problem, I changed the first round of 15os from 9 per 6mm firepolish bead to 7 per 6mm firepolish bead. Worked like a charm.
