@@JBugsVWParts Hi buddy my name is Pedro from St. Petersburg Florida I’m sorry to bother you I got a question about my 1972 super beetle Every time I pull my car in reverse is shot off the engine im breaking my head please need help
Almost is a very relative term, and yes, all the wiring is similar. We actually wired a complete 1966 Beetle here :ua-cam.com/video/an0KPO4jR7o/v-deo.html The wiring on it is nearly identical to the 67.
Back when cars had simple electrical systems that anybody with half a brain could figure out. Try replacing the harness on a new car, lol! Damn thing will weigh more than you do!
Summer is coming, cant wait to get the vw out.
Love this channel. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!

New wite harnesses are the way to go just get knowledgable on year specifics. My ghia karnes was correct EXCEPT for what side of the car it ran down
I’m about to buy one of your full harnesses for a 72 Standard beetle. Do you also have a step by step video (or written instructions) for a 72?
Written instructions are included with the harness, yes.
@@Sam_Mebane about how long should it take to install one of these harnesses Sam? I’m looking at a replacement myself.
U guys Rock!
Do all the beetles have the same wiring almost I have a 67

I have been working on how to get to know how to wire a beetle....
Hold on a sec... What mirrors are those???
This question took longer than I expected, just some generic eBay mirrors I adapted to fit the stock threaded mounts.
@@Sam_Mebane post a link. They actually look awesome!
@@joshcosta423 we can't post external links. Look up "F2 Style Mirrors", Euro enough for ya?
@@Sam_Mebane definitely fits more of the look you're explaining you're going for
@@joshcosta423 it's all in a name, but calling a German car a German look seems somewhat redundant. Not that calling a European car Euro isn't!
How about a 1974 super beetle? My car looks like a mess.

I’m pretty heavy... but you’re probably right!
