I need some clarification. I am trying to follow your directions. In part 2 of the wiring videos (4:55), you said to plug the red wire from the main harness into the fifth fuse on the back of the fuse box from the right and the black wire on the first terminal. In your follow-up part 3 video (7:25), you must plug the red wire from the headlight switch in the fifth fuse on the back from the right of the fuse box and plug the grey wire into the first terminal. Both of these terminals have been occupied. In the video, it appears the cables are plugged into both terminals respectfully from the left, which are both still open. I am misunderstanding something. Thanks in advance for your reply.
This fuse box is NOT the same as a factory unit and will be slightly different when connecting to an original one. If you are from Rochester and ordered our JBP-133-1972, follow the instructions that came with that harness.
Eso dependería de quién esté instalando el arnés. Descubrí que los mecánicos que están familiarizados con el cableado de VW cobran menos porque saben lo que están haciendo.

OMG I SO want to do all the wiring NOW but alas ,.. bodywork then paint is the NEED currently on my Son's 72.
We've seen people "paint" around wiring. All depends on what the priority is!
