Dude thank you so much. I have tried your setups and have helped me on ACC. Now your are opening a Pandora's box here with these setup, so many cars so many tracks. Everyone will want their own car and track. Maybe stick to one car and change tracks to start with!!! Go Luck!!
You are special. I've had this question for 4 years. I always wanted to understand why I had to lift my foot in places where others did full throttle. In this video you showed me why, in all the forums people just wrote "in place x and y you should have done full throttle" but I always felt bad for not being able to, Now I understand the importance of setup.
agreed, i was just using the agreesive set up and wondering why i wasnt able to carry as much speed through corners as other drivers. Id put it down to lack of skill and practice. Having following these set ups the car is alive and I realise I actually have the skill to carry more speed and use the throttle to turn the car now there is much more oversteer. game changer. i really cannot wait for more content to take me to the next level where i fully understand the changes so can see what i need to change for my own preferences
I see a bright future in the channel...very helpful!! 👌 I finally understood how the bumpstop ranges are working. I suggest you to make a video for explaining each part of the setup, where and how affects the car because many of the guides out there are telling only Oversteer or Understeer. For example you explained that the bumpstop ranges affect the dynamic ride height of the car...or the front Anti-roll bar affects the entry of the corner.Stuff like that will help us more to make our own setups. If you do this for the whole setup it will be a treasure.
@@SimracingArnout yeah I know it is difficult...you need to have very good setup knowledge but I think if you try it at some point it will be helpful because your explanations are always on point 👍👍
Another example. With lower Ride height the car becomes more agile & nervous and with higher RH the car can run over bad terrain and kerbs but it gets more Roll on corners and maybe becomes more sluggish. This kind of information I'm trying to seek from multiple setup guides to understand how it works. If we concentrate this information in a video (or videos) it will be the absolute setup guide.
Very helpful! Thanks mate. It would be great to see the fastest car in your opinion in Misano to get the license on lfm. Will try using your setups from your last vid anyway.

Great Videos keep it up please! (I beat my previous laptime record in the McLaren by 1 second to a high 2:19... In like only 5 Laps, though having driven the aston for the first time there)

You clearly explain and it's not all spoon fed as if one is a total beginner so there something for everyone. Well done and I hope your channel grows in 2024
This video has been a game changer for my racing. I’ve watched so many setup videos but just be replicating these setups I’ve shaved over 2s off my laptime on zolder in the Aston. Thanks so much, I’ll be watching all your videos!
Great video. I started out in the AMR V8 Vantage but didn't like it because it "lacked steering feel". This video helped me both understand why I moved away from the car (very soft, understeery suspension) AND helped me learn to setup my new go-to: the Mustang. In 30 minutes of tweaking my PB for Spa dropped 3 seconds.
I personally think you can always counter-work on the rear ride-height with the rear wing to get the same kind of balance into the car. Getting the car lower to the ground always helps with initial grip in mid- to fast corners, to give the car more front-rotation you can take the wing lower to reach the same aero-balance. GT3 are not so senstive to wing-changes, so despite a lot of E-Sports guys recently "dropped" how Meta Setups work, I don't fully believe that, as we were way quicker at Spa (LFM) with a lower rear wing and the car lower to the ground.
Loving the vid. I have been trying all night to copy your set up, I have to say I struggle with your level 4 set up, level 3 is much more stable for me. Its really interesting to understand the set ups, thanks much appreciated I now a better understanding with setups 😊 I need more practice with the first setup as I am at 2.24 if I can shave 2 over time great

Ok so i been watching you for about 3 videos now. And i have been very interested in your prespective until the " "bumpstop range" When you adjust the bumpstop, it's bigger at the lower numbers? Just a quick question, during the race, would you still recommend using this aggressive setup or your level 2 or 3 setups since I'm trying to stay safe in LFM series? Once again, I'm so grateful cause this video must have taken you a long time.
I know this is a setup video but I have some confusion around the car control statistics. I drive on controller and I can be pretty quick consistently however when making an active attempt to raise the car control statistic I'm being told "too much steering" constantly. I could accept this normally but I watch people with wheel and pedal setups quite aggressively moving the wheel and driving further over the "limit" than I am and yet they're not being penalised the same? I've generally heard it's a pain for everyone but it is beginning to bug me. Is there anything setup wise that can be done to allow for better car control in the same way that you can make a super fast and agile setup to raise that stat?
