IL-2 Great Battles: Battle of Normandy, Typhoon 1b late war fighter/attacker

Flying in career mode a pre D-Day mission, April 1944. The Typhoon 1b was first used as a fighter but later served as attack plane.

The Typhoon was originally intended as an interceptor to match the FW 190. It didn't quite reach expectations as a fighter but later became a star of the tactical air forces and as a V1 interceptor.

When did they paint them on the planes? I thought from D-day on?
