Nice stitchouts! The pouches and Chris’ backpack are terrific! Billy50 (Australia) is a good digitizer. She also has a YT channel. Try holding down the “go” button and your machine will stitch very slowly - when you remove your finger, it will resume normal speed. Very helpful, especially when crossing seams. I have and use Embrilliance software. Not expensive, no charges for updates, purchase only the modules you need as you need them. Amazing customer service and several free YT tutes explaining the fancy stuff when you’re ready for that. I mostly use Embrilliance and Essentials. All modules integrate with each other. There is also a FREE version so you can use and decide if you like it. To protect the USB slot on machine, I’d strongly suggest getting a short extention cord to plug in the USB slot and use the other end of cord to insert/remove various USBs so as not to wear out the slot on your machine. This cord only costs about $5-7 USA dollars from Amazon.
Thanks Christine a friend of mine loves doing embroidery on her machine and she uses press and seal from glad wrap it has a sticky side she said that she wound not use anything else now it holds everything in place good no sticky residue left on fabric think it was bought from cosco only place she could find it like your logo great video 😁
I embroider a lot, I have a few different machines 🤦♀️ but I’d never thought of using double sided tape to hold vinyl down - I’ll be doing this in future. Stitch outs look great I’m quite impressed 👍
I use the trace feature allot on my machine, to make sure everything will go where i want it to. You can also use glue sticks to stick your fabric onto your stabilizer. Just school glue sticks work great. I hadn’t ever even thought of using double sided tape! I will have to try that too. The glue is washable so it washes out. I had to find something when I was embroidering a lot of preemie onesies for a doll maker who made reborn dolls.
Embrilliance is a awesome software program I just purchased it it has several different modules but I am starting with Essentials and they have a free version that allows you to do quite a bit
That was a really interesting video. Can’t afford an embroidery machine at the moment. (Having solar panels installed this month!!) so I will have to save up again. Those designs looked really good. ☺️👍👍
This machine is really nice :) The tip with glueing thhe vinyl down instead of hooping is really helpful :) I hope some day I will have a sewing room and space for an embroidery machine.
Love the Nagambie design , I don't have an embroidery machine, but if in the future I want to go that way, I have your great tutorial to watch again. Thank you it was very informative 😊
Hi Christine. I love your channel and that you've got an embroidery machine. I have one too, but don't use it much. I would love a video with tips on what stabilizers to use and maybe how to do In-the-hoop designs. I look forward to be inspired by your future projects.
I'm watching as I'm commenting lol so don't know if you know but I'm a member of super embroidery deal, you pay 20 and get everything on the website, upgrade to 30 and you get all new designs that get added too I DOiD the 30 it's a once off payment I've now been a member for a few years and love their designs, I only have a 4 inch Max on my machine so can't vouch for the larger designs but the 4inch options are endless,
Thanks for the really informative two part review. I've been looking at the Poolin EOCO6 for a few weeks - the ProSew people supply a similar little machine but I think this is better value. My only question is, who would you get to service it? Do you think any sewing machine repairer who is familiar with computerised machines could manage this?
Hi Christine. Great video. I'm pleased to see you stitched a design onto vinyl. I have been experimenting with designs on vinyl with my Brother Innovis. I have found that when the design has quite a dense amount of stitches it's almost like it creates a tear line line in the vinyl. I'm not sure whether I can get around this by using a different needle size or changing the stitches within the design. It also coukd be the quality of the vinyl fabric. More experimenting to be done but if you have any thoughts on that your comments would be invaluable. I made a lovely small tote which included an embroidery pattern. I will post in the FB group. Cheers for now from an early, rainy morning in the UK
hi, Sandra here from the UK. I have just purchased this machine and it arrives on Monday. (14/10/24) What i wanted to know is, in order to create ones own designs, can this be done with Photoshop and then stored into the machines memory for projects? I have Photoshop so can create anything but not sure if the machine will allow the things i create. thanks for the video. love the work you have done so far.
Sandra, your images will need to be converted to embroidery files to be stitched out. There are some online that you can purchase and even use for free. Others will also convert them for you. There are also several free files you can download and transfer to your machine.
Does your machine have what’s called a basting stitch? It holds your fabric in position. I’m not sure how that would work on vinyl though. I own 2 Babylock machines. Aliance and a Destiny 2.
The thread stands actually will be nice standing behind the machine instead of attached. Sometimesb you get unruly threads like Metallica that need to unwind some before going to the machine, so you can sit the whole stand a little further away from the machine.
Although a good price, It's not quite the same machine. KSWBD has only one hoop, and doesn't appear to have a lot of images. It also doesn't come with all the threads, thread stand, stabiliser, and other accessories to get you started. 😁
What fun right!!! oh my collecting the free designs I have been collecting for maybe 14 years so I do have a GAZILLION of free designs. I used my emb machine for when we had to wear masks earned me a few dollars which was good at the time. 🪡🪡🛍🛍😷😷😷🥰🥰🥰😁 love the free standing lace designs the most 🙂

Some excellent advice there. The USB cord one in particular. Thanks!
Thanks Cyn. That's a great tip about the usb cord. I'm sure Chris will have a spare one😀
You are truly a sewing wizard. These projects came out great. I learn so much from watching your videos. Thank you so much.
My plesure Rebecca. Thank you😀
Thank you for the continued review of this machine and it’s features.
I've had loads of fun with it Kimberly😁
You can also use the trace feature to see where your design will be
Thank you. I forgot what that feature was good for😀
Thank you for answering the questions about the bobbin. As always, very informative video. Thank you!
My pleasure Tina😀

Thanks for the tip Pamela. I'll have to source some😀

I was quite impressed with this too Susan😁

That's a great idea Brenda. I'll try that next😀

Thanks for the tip Karen. I'll check them out. I've had to put my machine away until I have my studio renovated next month😁
Great review. Looks like it would be perfect for quilting labels as well.
That's something I might try too😀
I had convinced myself that I didn’t need an embroidery machine but you’re making me think again. This looks a smashing little machine for the price.
Having a embroidery machine is so fun, can make great gifts. However, it is not a cheap hobby, ask me how I know. I certainly enjoy mine.
haha, I wish I had even more time to play with this one. It's so much fun😁
Excellent tutorial - you are a fast learner- I love doing machine embroidery- have fun and please keep sharing your embroidery projects. ❤
I can see I'll be addicted to this soon Iris😀
That was a really interesting video. Can’t afford an embroidery machine at the moment. (Having solar panels installed this month!!) so I will have to save up again. Those designs looked really good. ☺️👍👍
We just had panels done recently too Christine😁
Ok! I think I’m sold. I need one. Asking for one for Christmas. I’ve been a good girl. Love the vinyl work.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Of course you've been a good girl Debbie😁
This machine is really nice :) The tip with glueing thhe vinyl down instead of hooping is really helpful :)

Thanks Tina😁

Thanks Erica. I've been wanting to do these for quite some time😀
I've had an embroidery machine for years but haven't tried it on vinyl. I need to try that, its been a while since I've embroidered anything.
I was surprised at how well it stitched out😀
I tried the double sided tape and it worked well ❤
That's great Jilly😁
Great volg I have trying to save up for 3 year. But still done have a embroidery machine thank you
Thanks Michelle. I'm sure you'll get one one dy. Sometimes life just gets in the way😀

Thanks Wendy. I still have a lot to learn and experiment with😁
Can you make a video showing all the embroidery designs that are built into the machine?
Shari, if you look back to the first video, I do skim through the pages of designs😁

Kate, any reputable sewing machine mechanic should be able to service this and other brands of machines😀
I ordered my own machine ❤ keep up with the reviews ❤
That's awesome Jilly. You'll have so much fun😀

You can always stitch your design out like a patch and sew or glue it to the vinyl.
Thanks jay. I'll have too keep an eye out when stitching sense designs on the vinyl😀

I think it does Roberta. It's packed away though until I remodel my room
Thabk you for this video. Very informative 🫶🏼
You're very welcome😀
It makes me want and embroidery machine! 😂 (I don't NEED one, but as we know, need and want are different things!)
It made me buy one and I am not sorry
definitely! I didn't need one either, but now I feel as though I do😀
The thread stands actually will be nice standing behind the machine instead of attached. Sometimesb you get unruly threads like Metallica that need to unwind some before going to the machine, so you can sit the whole stand a little further away from the machine.
I agree Brenda. I'd prefer it behind the machine😀
What warranty is available for this machine please
They have 12month warranty Sue😁
Great video!
Thank Pat😀
Does this machine use its own embroidery software? or do you need a third party one to do your own designs
They don't have their own yet, but believe they'll have something at the end of the year.
Another viewer mentioned in comments what software the use
Just bought this. Can I sew clothes on it or is it only an embroidery machine?
Jo, this is an embroidery only machine😁
KSWBD embroidery machine on amazon UK is the same machine but is much cheaper.
Although a good price, It's not quite the same machine. KSWBD has only one hoop, and doesn't appear to have a lot of images. It also doesn't come with all the threads, thread stand, stabiliser, and other accessories to get you started. 😁
