allintodrumsandguns seems like ambulances barely vary with the tones then. Quite interesting. I’m yet to hear a Rumbler in person, but when the day comes, I hope I can enjoy it like I did with the “white cut”. Lol Thanks for the reply!
It really does shake you a little inside. Not as much when you’re in a vehicle, but definitely on the side walk. They had Rumblers also. In my PA300 rumbler video, I threw in some footage of an ambulance using the rumbler.
Is Rumbler really worth it? (Years ago I told Federal Signal their Q-siren should have half the ports (openings) to lower the siren's frequency by 1 octave. (2-octaves lower even better.)
I have the same Cencom Sapphire Amp and Controller. I've wired it up as outlined in the installation manual. I get absolutely no sound. When checking the WC Diagnostic Indicators, the first light shows steady red. According to the manual it states, "CenCom Controller Bus is set to off, Check Interface Box". Can you please advise how to correct this issue? Thank you.

That’s awesome! Our local ambulances run the three standard tones too, but once I did heard the “Alt Wail” and “Alt Yelp” and that was a treat.

The fact that i was in Mission the other day the Mission Police Dept. uses the siren both Whelen Cencom Sapphire & Gold
i finally know what Honolulu 5-0 uses.
Great vid, appreciate the demo. I find a few of the tones quite odd for a Whelen. Rather interesting. The hilo reminds me of the Federal Signal Vama.
