    Hi, I did all the troubleshooting to solve the CHECK CELL error. I have tested the cell and it makes bubbles until the system trips. Then the SuperGen goes green, but after a while, it shuts off and there is not much chlorine generated, almost nothing. So the cell works intermittently with the system, what should be done?

    I'm on a Hayward Omni logic system, T15 cell...have you ever encountered the problem where it never chlorinates, even when set to 100%? Mine just says on, has an average salt reading but never instant salt and zero amps. This is my 4th cell in less than a year post build. 😔

      I've heard many things about the OmniLogic, but few have been good. They are notoriously finicky pieces of machinery. I'd either have a troubleshoot with a Hayward Technician directly or buy a new system. I say the latter because even if you figure out the cell problem, there are going to be other gremlins that pop up. They will be just as annoying and confusing as they are expensive.

    i am having issues with my hayward aquarite system. The only light I see green is power. I tried to recalibrate it by turning it off then on, like in your video and no change. The numbers on the screen do not move, unless I hit the diagnostic button. Had my sat cell tested and no issues. My water can't hold free chlorine. About 31,000 gallons and I have been adding a case of shock every week and within 3 days, 0 FC. I tried to locate the T on my screen and it is no where to be found. I am using the T15. I get my water tested and the salt is within the range. My voltage is 32 then I hit diagnostic button and I see 0.00 which is my amps on my cell. How do I know if my mother board is bad or is it is the entire Hayward system?

    My inspect salt cell lights on now but I closing my pool in a few days so can I just add chlorine until it’s closed?

    • @Inyopools
      @Inyopools  10 днів тому

      You can switch to traditional chlorine for the last few days until you close. I suggest troubleshooting the cell issue before closing your pool. If you wait until the spring, the cell will add a layer of complexity you'll want to avoid.

      I replaced the T cell about a year ago with a excel pool brand( I couldn’t find heyword brand available)
      What’s funny is I just walked out to look at the pool message board and the “ chlorinator off “ message is gone

      Strange
      I think my circuit board is going out

      I’m having the exact same issue. Have already added salt after testing, cleaned salt cell with the water acid mixture, and have cleaned filter for flow. We have low stabilizer but we have zero chlorine basically so I hope that’s it’s.

      @@tomtom3576 yeah, my stabilizer is fine. I am not sure what the issue is. I have been just adding chlorine on my own so that it is swimmable. But I need to figure it out so that I don’t have to spend $250 on a 50 pound container of chlorine.

      Have you had your phosphate levels tested? If not, have them tested! Phosphate are very little talked about in the pool world they have so much to do with chlorine retention and algae issues

    My Hayward system has the power light on but not the generator light. No other lights are on. What should I do? Already tested the salt cell itself and they told me it’s still working. I even cleaned it.

      I have put it to 100% and still no Generating light. I can put to Super Chlorinate and it appears to work but that only works for 24 hours and then I have to move it to Super Chlorinate again.

      Does the generator light stay off if you set the output to 100%? If you currently have it set to 50%, the cell will run for 50% of a set period of time. If you were monitoring the control during that 50% off cycle, then it may appear the system isn't working, even though it is.

    • @Inyopools
      @Inyopools  3 місяці тому

      First, have you added enough salt? Are there any alerts or faults flashing on the control? If there are no faults, you aren't running the pump long enough, or your output percentage isn't high enough.
      I would also make sure the other water chemistry is in check.

      @Inyopools  2 роки тому +1

      He may be correct. The salt system won't produce chlorine if the salt level is too high. I'd get some test strips and use those to always check against the salt level on the machine. Add salt based on the strip reading and not the control panel.
