Just found this channel, I am not a teacher or anything like that...But I love watching your vlogs so interesting! It reminds me of when I was in school, and you would see a teacher in public you don't think of them as a "person" but as a teacher. So it is interesting to see what teachers actually do haha. Hopefully this makes sense! I have some binge-watching to do!

I too had a pretty rough year! This was my first year teaching first as I taught fifth for three years. I can totally relate to having a knuckles and chuckles who were very unpredictable. It was a little ridiculous because I never had the same sub more than twice and even administration, although they didn't say it, dreaded covering for me. Every one always says, "I don't know how you do it." It's because the passion is there and I can definitely see it in you. Everyone has "the year," but it gets better. Even tough it was tough most days, I wouldn't trade it for anything.
You always amaze me how organized you are! I'm in still shock to see how much cabinet storage you have. Teacher's dream. I love the teacher coloring books!!! You are so right about recognizing the front desk ladies. Yay for the last day! I've really enjoyed your videos. Looking forward to continue watching and seeing what grade level you get next.

You really had me crying, especially because yesterday was my last day at my school. I was a student and have volunteered for 6 years. They had cake and a surprise and a signed shirt for me and it was so overwhelming and I felt so loved. The end of year emotions are so real, particularly when you aren't returning. Trying to hold it together is so hard and pretty impossible! You are such an incredible teacher and so inspiring. You've definitely made an impact on me and my work this year!

I feel how you feel my 4th grade teacher moved away and 4th grade was my first year there. And I was so sad when she had to go but a couple weeks ago my 4th grade teacher came and visited us. I was happy and she is coming back in the spring for SCH. So I can totally relate

I cried along with you. On my last day of school I felt the same way because I left the district where I was at teaching for a District closer to my home and I knew I wouldn't see those kids next year so I bawled like a baby. can't wait for your summer vlogs
I'm so glad I'm not alone! All the teachers were outside waving to the buses and everyone else was smiling and laughing and I was in the corner bawling my eyes out and still hugging one of my kiddo. It was so hard! 😭

You have so much stuff. :) It only took me about 3-4 hours to take down my posters, box my items, and put them into the closet for next year. I am not sure if I'll be in the same room, so it would probably take an additional hour or so to pack the items I did not box completely...but your process seems daunting. Wow! I'm a graduate-level nursing student who stumbled on your videos and am now binge watching them! I am awed by how dedicated and organized you are. My fondest memories of my grade-school years are teachers such as yourself who made my youth so beautiful and made school so worthwhile and fun. I have no doubt that a large percentage of my adult success is due to their love and hard-work. Your videos give me wonderful flashbacks. :) Keep being absolutely amazing!

The first thing I have to say is I absolutely love your videos . I am currently in school to be a teacher and it is nice to watch a someone and see the real ness and truth behind teaching and that it's not easy . Second I seriously click your videos so fast when they go up . Third I love Dunkin' Donuts and every time I go I try and get the same ice coffee you get because it looks so good .

I'm a first year Primary education student (UK) and yesterday was my last day of first year placement. I completely see how emotional you were as I was only in the class for 9 weeks but I was an emotional wreck when I finished yesterday, can't even imaging how it must be for you
I was the same way with my student teaching! You are definitely not alone! It does get more difficult with your own class but my first few years weren't as emotional because I knew I would still see them in the years ahead! Leaving for good was super difficult though! 😢

I did the same memory book. The kids loved it and I got some compliments from the parents about the autograph page and the cute things classmates wrote to their child. We did it on X day on the ABC countdown (sign your name on the X...)

Hi girly!! I am 18 years old and will be going to college for this. I am very excited to become a teacher, and there is time where I am very scared to start a career like this. I have been having some break points as to if I really want this, and you videos have helped me pull through for this passion that I have I make youtube videos and of course at one point they will have to stop because I game a lot. I can’t tell you how many times my parents have switched my classes. Mostly because I was bullied and most of the kids in my class had bullied me. And I think my mom didn’t want another year of me coming home crying.
I cried the last day of 5th grade now I’m in 8th I still miss all of my teachers

Like your videos. I've been teaching over 30 years. One of my years was like the class you just had...lots of interventions, documentations, referrals and it was a year I wanted to leave teaching. But I survive that year and since then I've been blessed with many great classes. Granted I still have behavior problems, but it's easily handled with early interventions and support from admin. Have a restful summer and best wishes at you new school. Looking forward to future videos. Awesome job.
