Here we are guys, Season 2. Season 1 has been getting a lot of viewership recently so I thought Season 2 was needed.

Some are the type that get ugly if they aren't told what they want to hear even when it's a delusion. They probably pressured their peers to compliment their singing and then got shocked when an objective opinion hits them. Others appear as if people complimented them because they look good rather than focusing on the talent lol.

It’s mainly due to the lack of teeth. I know health care is free in the UK, isn’t dental work too? Watching these UK X Factor videos, it doesn’t seem that it is. So many people with missing and/or wonky teeth.

There's an unfiltered, almost brutal tone to these early series auditions filming style. Almost like a fly-on-the-wall documentary. This style needs to come back

I hate the new format, went all serious, don't watch it anymore. It was a product of it's time. TV is more sophisticated today than it was then so they've moved with it. They don't want 'Alan the toothpaste factory worker singing Christina Aguilera' or 'Debra from Aldi who laughs like a chipmonk'' singing Celine Dion anymore.
No it doesn't. Rude comments affect people. Why can't people just be kind? You can tell someone no without being so ridiculously rude. Seriously. No one knows if their comment is the one that puts people over the edge and they kill themselves. food for thought.

I really do love Sharon. She was such a sweetheart. She really did care for the contestants, even when they were bad. I was so proud when she confronted Simon & Louis about how they treated that poor 16-year-old girl, & when she walked her out. Everyone deserves the kind of honest criticism & support that Sharon gave❤
Note: Upon further review, it seems Sharon wasn't always as compassionate as she could've been. Honestly, though, she's still one of my favourite judges. She definetely had the most empathy between herself, Simon, & Louis. I'm not surprised she wasn't always an angel, because no one is perfect. However, to my knowledge, on the whole, Sharon did her best to exercise kindness & understanding when relatively nice people were just very untalented.

The guy who re-created John Lennon’s voice to sing his own song was ahead of his time. That’s what AI can replicate famous ppl’s voices, which som older actors have sold rights to, this will extend to their image as well. Harrison Ford didn’t mind.

Yh, they creep/suck up to them beforehand but when they still can't get their own way (and go through to the next round) they "play up" (it's like they're already pop-stars). Oh, and thanks btw.

They're not smart. The smarter ones (when asked by the judges if they're any good) are humble and often reply with something like "that's for you to decide"

They put Simon down and say he "is the most untalented man in television", yet if he said yes to them, they would be saying, "He is a man with a vision and he knows what he talking about because he is so smart and we respect him."

It’s okay to be bad at something and if you feed into the delusion that someone who’s bad at something is good at it then they’ll just become disappointed and humiliated when others tell them the truth. All of these people were failed by friends and family who weren’t honest. It’s not loving to lie to someone and let them live in that lie. You’re setting them up for failure.

They really are that deluded. I used to run a small pop up recording studio cutting people's demos. Had all these lunatics coming through who thought they were on par with Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow. Some of them wanted a refund because they were out of tune and it was my fault. They started allowing people to audition their own songs in later series and bring in instruments. They don't want pop stars anymore, they're looking for potential greatness. More people than ever are wasting their time auditioning. Like I said its matured, but less entertaining.
I think its the fact that your voice sounds different to your self then it does to others like i like to record music and i will record something and think it sound good and then i play it back and it will sound different then when i heard it without recording and then i get i big burst of anxiety and delete it

Obviously they weren't going to win the show, but whatever chance they get to see Simon squirm is typically good for TV. Plus, Justine was actually likeable and funny to watch. It was a good character arc, if nothing else.

19 year old Sarah had potential. She could hold a note and has a double vibrato. I would have reinvented her and given her a make-over, changed her clothes and got her help in breath control. Hope she doesn't give up.

I feel bad for Justin who dressed as a woman because Sharon and Louie was basically lying to the man because they like him and he was wearing a dress. Simon was the only one that told him the truth cause he really can't sing worth a damn and I have seen both Sharon and Louie said no to some people that actually had good voices, and for them to say yes to Justin cause he was dressed as a woman is bonkers in my opinion.

Its good to be entertain but when ur on a show about people singing, being entertained with how they are dressed or for their fun personalities it isn't enough at least for me. They can have all of that but if u can't sing I just don't see no reason to have them on the show, especially when they are going to be eliminated anyway.

Oh I feel for Sarah but at least the judges were respectful and honest, they didn’t tease or antagonize her. They saw how bad she was hurt and didn’t prey on it. Sometimes people need to be knocked down but at least they recognized her passion and didn’t bully her when she couldn’t pull it off.
When Sarah says, "please, I've failed at everything else", I felt heartbroken for her.

That Sarah one was pretty nuts. If a singing career really is “everything” to you, you shouldn’t break down so completely after one failed audition. If it’s everything, give it your all. Practice hard and keep auditioning elsewhere. If it still doesn’t work out, you can be proud of yourself for trying and get a regular job like 99.9% of people. This is what her crazy mother should be explaining to her, rather than enabling her. Also, if she’s that fragile, stardom would surely break her if she ever made it.
