Look after yourself and come back stronger physically and mentally. I've been there buddy, I got told not that long ago I have Late Onset Type 1 Diabetes, which I had no clue that was a thing. It was good to know why I was so physically tired after races and other times, I just had to go to bed I was that exhausted and that was hard on me. Now I can mange it, not with medication yet, but managing it with a lifestyle change and that was mentally hard, had issues prior to this with my mental health but managing it all these days. So, you can and will find your way to cope and enjoy life / running. Don't put too much pressure on yourself and enjoy it again, you have to enjoy what you're doing. Stay safe and hopefully see you running some time in the New Year.
We've run that several times in the past. I (John) first did it in 2003, leg 4 in 17:11. A great day out as you say as the loop makes it easy to carch runners at various points in the race. Hope you pull round to high-season Cole form. You have lovely people around you.
Mansfield Harriers is my local club I run for, safe to say it looked like we held the National Ploughing Championships when I saw the state of the 'grass' on my track session on Monday! XD
My son was running in the U13 Boys and had a great time in tough conditions looked like it just got worse as they day went on. When you are running through deep mud, every clap and cheer helps, so thanks from him! Are you at Sefton Park?
Lovely stuff as always Cole! I really enjoyed the interviews, and I'm glad I didn't have to brave the weather myself. Nice bit of Run In Three Ways insider knowledge when you spoke to Callum, he seemed genuinely delighted at the mention of the dark chocolate Bounty 😂 Keep up the great work mate!
Was missing your uploads! Glad to see you’re ok. I’ve been sick all of October and recently picked up an annoying injury myself, so you’re not alone in suffering! Get well soon!
The madness of running in terrain that I avoid while walking!!! Good job to everyone. All champions. Fun to see these events with your club even if you aren't running. Proud of you for taking time off to take care of yourself. Lots of good people around you for sure. Lucky lad.
Nice one. I run for Hunts AC and we had 7 teams there. Great coverage of the event in that awful weather. I ran last leg in our C team (slowest runner getting the glory 😂) Tried to catch you for a chat but didn't want to disturb your filming.
Great coverage Cole of perfect english x country event, brings back many memories, i watch quite a lot of the college events and university races from the states and although i really do enjoy them , their courses are nothing like these, kudos to all out there and well done you for predicting winning team i was wondering if Afd would crash the party, exciting sprint finish,
Thanks for this breakdown! Jealous of the English club running scene. (We've got rubbish outside the schools scene-high school and collegiate-here in the US.) Running has its ebbs and flows, both mentally and physically, and it's not uncommon to need a recharge. Good luck working through everything and I'll look forward to keeping enjoying your videos!
Great interviews mate! What a race that is! Hope u recover soon both mentally and physically, even if ur not running/racing, still enjoy ur content! Cmooon Coleeee
Hey cole , just wondering ik u can put cross country spikes jnto regular nike dragonflys but do you think you can get away wearing the normal ones or not enough grip?? Thanks well done one the race.
Hope you get over your issues and feel better soon. Remember to be true to yourself Cole, all this online ephemeral BS is for naught in the grand scheme of things if you are not happy. Do what feels right and live your best life.
Apologies Chelsey if I caused any offence. For my own spectator experience, it is the main event I look forward to. It’s the one I know most runners in, it’s the one I know most about. So sorry if I offended, it wasn’t my intention, but it is certainly the event that draws the biggest spectatorship.
I was meant to run in the u13 division but got sick the night before so I failed to go !
Sorry to hear that!

Awesome I’m glad to hear it! Unfortunately won’t be at Sefton park. Will probably be tuning in from the livestream! Dissertation deadline coming up!!

Thanks Jen! Just shows the difference between the road relays which weren’t too long ago! The mud is a different ball game!!
Brilliant video, sums up the event really well.

Hey cole , just wondering ik u can put cross country spikes jnto regular nike dragonflys but do you think you can get away wearing the normal ones or not enough grip?? Thanks well done one the race.
Majority of people use the non xc version, I do use track version for xc. I put 15mm spikes in my dragonflies and they work great.
Thanks mate. I haven’t tried the XC version, but I used the standard track version last season and they seemed good enough!!
Ah a typical English summer in the countryside :)
Hahaha
Great video Cole. Hope you're on the mend soon 👍
Thanks Mike 🙌🏻
Can’t believe how many runners turned up to race around a muddy field in the pouring rain, well done all.
Surprisingly enjoyable haha
Great content
Take care, Cole

Thanks Mike, exactly that. UA-cam doesn’t matter if I’m not happy!
When a man refers to the seniors men's race as "The main event" 🙄
I mean he’s not wrong is he 😂
If this is the level of complaint from a modern day feminist I'd call it a victory at this point.
He did qualify it by saying it was the main event he was excited for, love club x country,

Agreed, very ageist. Should be the junior mens obviously
Serious lack of City of York AC content 🟢⚫️
Decided to keep the best content to put behind a paywall mate 😉
@@ColeRunningahaha fair. Look after yourself, hope to see you back soon ❤
