    Love the simplicity of this module. Just wish it at least retained memory between sessions. We need Sampleslicer II with microSD slot!

    I love this module. It's an easy build. Hadn't realised how using it for CV and incorporating effects would make it even grittier (i.e better)! Thanks for demonstrating it Ben.

    FYI - leave the module in auto and the audio will not stop when you sample. when the gate fires into the sample button, the module will swap automatically to monitor the incoming audio and swap back automatically into sample playback. This way, when playing live, there's no dead air.

    SOLD.
    Cheap as well and it does things I wanted to do with Mungo g0 but was a right pain to set up for rhythmic patches.
    And to be honest the slicing CV idea is what sold me on it.
    Brilliant video mate.

    it would be cool if it played back while recording a new sample so you could have continuous resampling, you could even make delays with it then

    Great video, as always! Too bad this can't playback while you're recording. Like I imagine it being able to constantly playback the audio in the buffer and then replace the buffered audio in recording mode, so that there is no gap in sound when you're recording. Still, what a great module!

    Just purchased one of these. I'm messing with it getting some results but would love some kind of pdf explaining all the functions and features. Mine was second hand. Did it come with any sort of manual?

    I admit I haven't yet had time to play vid right thru but why is there a gate AND a trigger in? Aren't they more or less the same thing? Thanks.

    • @neptune1411
      @neptune1411 3 роки тому

      The trigger is for starting the sampling process, the gate is for playing back

      That's a modular synth term - it refers to the difference in approach between the West coast Buchla style (sequencers, random, non western tunings, low pass gates, fm, wave folding) and East coast Moog style (keyboard, low pass filters, more basic wave forms)

    • @DivKid
      @DivKid 7 років тому +1
