- I know it looks bad but I didn't break it this time.. sort of. The Jeep needed some long awaited work and it ended up deciding itself that it was time to get it done. You already know we'll be back out on the trails in no time!

Look at "boat oil change pump", the model you just screw on top of the oil bottle. They are so more easy to use and cleaner. (~20$)

My transmission is making noise too. There is ppl. adding special oil in the transmission to have it stop, but is probably not necessary to bother about it.
My trans doesn’t make any noise it’s the release bearing you can hear. Trans is working as it should
32:14 don’t sell it man , you will regret it. Worst case park it and build the other. I’m heading to miden off road park tomorrow, looking forward to wheeling scotch line Saturday with the runner !
I know it’s hard to sell it after all the work I’ve done but seems like I’m still always fixing stuff lol and I’ll See you Saturday!
Getting it working and cleaned up well and sell it! It's a money-pit that just isn't up to the quality and toughness of a newer Jeep. put your time and energy into that gladiator and make that your new project to build up. Sure is a great base for an overlander too.

I understand the frustration of having to repair it all the time. It costs so much to upgrade the weak parts to stronger parts ie; from Dana 30 to Dana 44 and other upgrades like that 🤷♂️
Yup, I feel ya, 🙄 both my trucks are in their 20's I mean, it beats making a new car, and or truck payment, but there's some times, you just get tired working on stuff. 😒 The axle seals on my old 1987 Power Ram, used to leak, when I got enough water mixed the dif' fluid, (It must just, thin the axle grease enough, to get it to leak) when I changed the differential, axle grease, the axle seals, and or the pinion seals, always stopped leaking. 💦 But ya, old trucks you got to love them!! 🥰 But don't get too frustrated bro, stuff just eventually wears out on all vehicles, especially, if you play with them off road, 🛣️ but if you buy another used jeep, especially if you drive it off road, (almost exclusively) you never know you might just end up starting over, and having to do everything you already did to the Jeep you already have, to another used jeep that you bought to replace "Big Bird" 🐥 😉 keep up the great 4 wheeling videos bro! 👍 🙃

Axle seal might have just leaked from being parked on that rock. The seals don't like being over filled, I read about this when I got aftermarket diff covers and had to drill the fill lvl holes in the proper place.
Jesus, Mikey. I can't imagine you with your Big Bird (heheheh) Nobody knows her like you do. You've rebuilt her more than anyone else would have. If you sell her it would be like getting divorced!

I'd be checking the breather I have had the hose collapse inside it didn't look bad but couldn't blow air through it may be your leak issue pressure builds up and pushes oil past the seals

TJ throw out bearings always make noise, especially if its an nv3550, they're known for being noisy
The drag link is adjustable so straightening the steering wheel is no problem.

Water makes your gear oil turn yellow and also reduces its lubrication ability significantly. You play in deep water and mud, and you pay dearly, but clearly, you've got the big bucks. The throw-out bearing on my TJ has never made noise, what's up with yours?

@@SmokinMonkeyOG All vehicles are a pain in butt and the newer ones are worse and much more expensive to repair, I know you get frustrated with Big Bird, but do you really want to beat the Gladiator? I see people do it on UA-cam, but they really do have big bucks, Watch the story till now on UA-cam, they already have spent tons on their jeeps, and they still break.
