Fabulous demo Michelle! Having the opportunity to see you demo at the jetty was such a treat here in Sarasota. Really appreciate your tips and talent. So beautiful!
Interesting. I visited the gallery at Cherokee Casino. Felt like a spiritual experience. Bought water mix able paints. I do acrylic. Saw her painting. Impressed. I appreciate you Eric. You do a great job. Thanks. Enterprise, Al.
Watching on replay from Lewes Delaware Such a treat watching Michelle paint showing us how to make a painting glow. A little more controlled than Ryan Jensen yesterday, but same objective. Beautiful results!
Wow! I loved your class. All day I was trying to figure out how to bring warmth and a glow from the sun, and "unify" the painting I'm making. And watching you paint the egret I saw what to do. It's late... but I jumped out of bed, went to my easel and covered what I had done with a layer of warm underpainting tones. And already it feels warm and unified. Tomorrow I'll continue building the layers. I can't thank you enough. I LOVE the three brush stroke rule. I've been overpainting (illustrating).
My fabulous wonderful friend and teacher!!!! You are such a gifted teacher and an amazing artist. Can't even think of enough compliments. Congratulations!!!!!!!! This is so so exciting. I will watch and rewatch this. So very grateful we crossed paths at PAS. Much love, Elia.
Once again you, yourself, glow with light and love and teach so generously…thank you for being the teacher’s voice inside my head. What a fantastic video! Bravo, Eric, for featuring Michelle! South Carolina
she talks about this mop brush a lot is it a rosemary and co brush looks like it . I have 4 of them but, had lots of problem with loose hairs getting in my paintings.
Good luck painting wildlife outside without photo references 😅. Audubon did, but he killed the bird first. You’re not going to copy the photograph or exactly what you see outside anyway-you’re going to interpret the subject as an artist. Painting outside lies too-the light changes constantly. If you’re worried about what’s going on in the shadows, lighten the shadows of your photo reference in a photo editing program before printing it.
Watching on replay from Yorkshire in England
You are an awesome teacher Michelle. The egret looks fabulous. Thank you for sharing. Could you please share your pallette for this painting?

How do you determine what colors you want to use in a painting?
Its a style thing....I tend to use the same palette of colors every time unless I'm adding a new color for a specific purpose.
she talks about this mop brush a lot is it a rosemary and co brush looks like it . I have 4 of them but, had lots of problem with loose hairs getting in my paintings.
Have you ever had a mop that didn't lose some hair? Please tell me the brand.
@@DependsWhatDay Let Rosemary Co know- they want you to be happy.

Thing is, if you are a good photographer, you know how to take photos that don't lie. Just sayin' :)
