This is a wonderful demo of these techniques. Charlie Easton needs to given another demo and discuss his compositional methods. Just more wonderful advanced techniques for all that want to get their art to the next level.
This was an excellent demonstration/lesson! Charlie does such a great job of explaining everything. I learned so much! Please have him on again soon! Thanks to you both!
Wow all I can say is wow! Charlie is wonderful. This Artschool Live and the ones with Cindy Barron are my absolute favorites. You do a superb job. Thank you!
That. was. great!! I absolutely love painting with acrylics. I can paint thick, with texture, like oils, or I can paint thin like watercolors. I have learned watercolor painting, so I know acrylics don't do some of the things watercolors do, like granulation and pushing, but I can still make it look like one. Especially since there are many colors that are transparent which weren't before. I love, love, love acrylics! Thank you.
Thank you very much much ! This was exactly what I need right now. I haven’t painted for a few years and I’ve forgotten my methods and wondering why I’m not as excited at the results. I’m a member of The Canadian Glaze Oil Society, and I’m old, so I forgot that I’ve forgotten my methods… yikes!
Charlie is one of the artist that I've been following for a while as I love his work. He's such a great teacher and it was exciting to learn the three techniques. Would love to see more from Charlie.
Just think Charlie is a great teacher what super talented instructor .. I’m hearing Nevada next year for Plein Air! Gosh I hope so !! I’m only one state away !! It would be a shame to not be there if I live in Idaho …would love to be there next year looks like fun .. Charlie will rock 👍 plein air in smoking mountains..
1st of all I was very impressed with his presentation. You can be an artist but not necessarily a great teacher but he was great! I also wd like to see him teach composition. 2nd I’m wondering if these techniques cd be used with pastel spraying fixative first then apply his techniques. Great job👍👍👍
Amazing demonstrations while speaking! I'm making a sign to place on the wall: GLAZE * VEILING * SCUMBLE. I only have one question, what is the Cadmium Green Acrylic used in the glazing process. Does it actually contain Cadmium? Brand? Again Brilliant lesson.
Charlie is a great teacher who explains it really well, and he is a bit of a character - loved it :)
Charlie Easton is an absolutely tremendous demonstrator and speaks really clearly about the techniques. Love watching him.
One of the best in acrylic painting - makes me appreciate the medium more - I prefer oil, but this has made me reconsider.
I've really been enjoying acrylic gouache lately.

I love Stephie Clark too but she’s soft pastels. Charlie is my new favourite!
You're too kind :-)

Fantastic lesson! Thank you Charlie and Eric.
Great as always Charlie!
A wonderful demo of some techniques which all artists should try. I use them a lot in my own work with good effect. 😃😃😎😎
Excellent instruction by Charlie; I learned a lot.
That was awesome, I learned so much! Thank you!!
I’ve used dry brush scumbling in acrylic painting for years. It’s how I soften edges.
Densely packed, thorough acrylic enlightenment! Thanks Charlie and thanks Eric!
Wow! He's amazing!
Loved this, taking notes.❤
Eric - Best session you’ve ever had (from a beginner oil painter)
Wow, thanks!
Charlie Easton does a great job explaining and teaching these effects. Thank you for posting!!
Great lesson!!
This is great I learned the why and the how of some of my confusion with glazing.
Beautiful work Charlie! Those blues and violets are 😮
Wow thanks Fantastic

Vellos from Guatemala! Attentively and eagerly to learn the tips from the guest today!🎨
Hello from beautiful Arizona! 🌵
Glazing!!!
Hi from Ohio. Thank you for the tips to improve my paintings.
Amazing demonstrations while speaking! I'm making a sign to place on the wall: GLAZE * VEILING * SCUMBLE. I only have one question, what is the Cadmium Green Acrylic used in the glazing process.

I think I’ll have to watch it again as now I’m confused between veiling and glazing..
Hw knew Eobeet Henn, loced that man!
That was a great presentation!
Is Eric growing a beard?
Glazing+ white= veiling !
Split screen is confusing. Left side shows him painting with his right hand. Right screen shows using his left hand.
That’s skill!
Each artist provides their own set up. :-)
Is Charlie left or right-handed?
Ha, yep, camera got flipped, I'm right handed!
Scumbling =Wolf Kahn!
Scumbling =dry brush!
