Awesome film. White Water OC-1 and OC-2 are not lost arts of the past. I picked up two Dagger WW OC. One Caption and I Caper. After 20 years I 'm back in the riding waves and crashes through holes again. Dagger brought me back from the dead plastic american life to the wild white water rivers.Living once again.

Was a C-1 and open boater some years back. This was beautiful and has sure taken what happened back in my time way further. Reminded me of the grace and style that single blading has always presented. That blade is better off in the water rather than spinning like a wing mill. Just really fine, thank you.
Not sure if you guys have heard of a guy named Nolan Whitesell. He didn’t like the whitewater canoes available at the time so he designed/built his own . Quite a paddler, lower Niagara. Excellent video!

YES !!!! A resounding YES !! My version of the same. A 20 foot expedition canoe,, full cover 1200 pounds of flotation and gear, food, and water for at time up to 6 weeks. And then give me the Green River in Utah Class II,, Class III, and a bit of Class IV and V. Fun.

Can't myself answer which is harder but for which will take more skills, more understanding, a greater need to read the water correctly, maybe more gear, but is far better...canoe.

Years ago I paddled some decent whitewater. Stale/burned out on it well two shoulder surgeries didn’t help. You can teach a old dog new tricks. Whitewater SUP, a little whitewater goes a long way.
Making Canoeing Great! Skip the Again. It never was nearly this good before! Keep on doing what you do as safely as you can.

I'll take a hard pass lol. Went canoeing in the snow once. The water completely shuts your body down
