- So lets fix this gloomy farmhouse bedroom because the darkness and dirtiness needs to go!
Last week I finished one corner that now looks very cosy, and today I am starting part two of our (massive) farmhouse bedroom makeover with the space that we have in the gable.
This is the only part of the room that has lots of light, but it still feels dark because of the paint colors, so I want to change everything!
Oh, and yes, we are still sticking to the 'country and western' theme that we started last week.

Hi everyone, we are leaving for Sweden tomorrow, and we are closing on the house on Wednesday around 4 o clock, so this is exciting.
We will start work over there right away because we want to stabilize the roof of the barn before the situation gets worse than it already is, and we will also do some other little jobs too. Besides that, I am going to film a 'first week in our new house' video and I also want to film a Q&A so please leave your questions below this video if you have any.
This is going to be so much fun! We still can't believe that this is really happening now.
There is not going to be a video next week because we just need some time to just be there for bit, but I will be back soon (probably the week after). Hope to see you then!

I really hope that things will get easier in the future. Finding a new sense of self when you get knocked of you feet is really hard but I think that it usually leads to new and amazing things.

Yes that is a Swedish braille book and I think its a very old one because it came from the same pile as the other books and those are from de mid 1800s. I also found a really big book with little locks on it.

I have been looking for the color-code of this paint because more people asked the same question and normally I do have a code but this one does not have one on the can and I could not find it online either. I will call the store when I get back in The Netherlands to ask them if they can tell me what it is.
