Marco, these are beautiful homes, but I wonder if you could ever do a series on smaller dwellings,2-3 stanzas for singles? Probably a challenge in family oriented Italy, but I’d love to see those houses if you can find them! Grazie! 🙏🥰
I was sad that the second property was abbreviated as it’s exactly the type that I want to see more of! I just love the historical buildings, and the history behind the places is really interesting. Such a great space, loved it! ❤
Hey Marco, lovely to see this place on your channel! my wife and I got married nearby in 2006! we stayed in Castiglione del Lago a few times during the planning, eating out and enjoying the Italian way of life. Great memories!
hi Marco i saw your interview on think media, i am a little italian youtuber living in puglia, italy! congratulations for your videos, i suggest you to visit Polignano a Mare it is a spectacular city and it has very beautiful landscapes!
Marco- love the addition of showing the hotels you're staying in: I didn't think it possible, yet your productions just keep raising the bar even higher!
Marco, I just want to tell you that I absolutely love the way you are structuring the videos. The cinematography is amazing, the content is so interesting and I enjoy every time. This is better than TV level production. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much. I’m always happy to hear when viewers appreciate the effort that goes into making these videos. It is also lots of fun to share the experience and atmosphere of these places with you!
Isn't he just the best?! Amazing vision, shots, AND editing. EON Productions is scouting for the next James Bond director: they'd find their mark with Marco!
Love these homes and this beautiful town. We have a home in Umbria about 20 minutes from Castiglione del Lago. Visited for the first time in May 2024. Going to go back in a few weeks and will grab a meal at La scuola della pasta!!😋🍝
"La battaglia del Trasimeno -217 B.C" e' nei pressi del comune confinante di Tuoro , a 15km da Castiglione del Lago , puoi trovare indicazioni ovunque.
The first property is absolutely gorgeous and would make a good family home. The second palazzo would make a perfect boutique hotel. Ciao, Marco. You showed a quick profile of Jacabo. He has that classical Roman nose. 😊
Thank you for another great post. We love traveling throughout Italy and you offer a unique and informative perspective, as well as ideas for new destinations. We are considering buying property in Italy and your channel is very helpful. Thank you. God bless you.
Marco! I was so happy to see that you dropped a new video! Happy to see that you are well! So I thought Dream Home #1 was incredible UNTIL you showed Dream Home #2! That's the one for me! I'll take it! Does the realtor accept out-of-country-checks?! lol. These are great finds and your production is brilliant, Marco. Thank you for sharing and now I'm going to re-watch this video and continue to dream Italy. Grazie.
I enjoyed your video. I would have used the title "The perfect Italian town in which to find a Dream Home" but concluding with a preposition is now common in English.
Beautiful city! Never heard of it before, what a shame. Do you think you could also show property further up North like in the Alps (Trentino, Aosta, Lombardia, Veneto) and Liguria? That would be fantastic ❤
Lovely to see another beautifully shot video from you. I hope you've been enjoying some down time, and it is great to have you back! I do wonder why not a peak of a walk around the grounds and why not film into all rooms 🤔 I found myself saying "noooo" after you showed us the amazing frescoed ceiling but not the arched nook area to the left. That said, I do so enjoy your content and the fact that you also include info and other locations about the town. Bellissimo 👏🏼 Love, strength and blessings 🌻🌈 Alysha ~
Yay, you’re back. I’ve been waiting for your videos. There’s so much fun. Thanks for sharing. Taking your time to do. These really appreciated them so much.❤❤❤
The town by the lake is gorgeous. And the first townhouse in the heart of it is very nice indeed, with an unusual internal layout due to that fascinating staircase, and it’s great value for money too. The second property in the countryside however, not so great. Much of the inside looks barren and depressing, and despite being mostly renovated apparently, still needs much more work to make it feel homely. Sorry, but I just didn’t like that one. But Umbria as a whole, is one of my favorite parts of Italy. Tuscan beauty for a more affordable price, and that more famous (and expensive!) region is right next door anyway 🙂
The actual advertisements for it state “free on 3 sides” and looking at the photos and the plans show the entrance is at the border of the subject property.
I suggest that when you introduce us to the town, show where it is on a map. This is Umbria but in what perspective within Umbria? Also, what’s the weather like there most of the year?
Nice job once again. I am a little scared of buying in Abruzzo, Umbria etc because of earth quake risk. I have no idea how difficult /easy it is to make a house earthquake resistant and at what costs.
The first property was really interesting. Are rooftop terraces allowed in historical centres in Italy as that was all that was missing from this property?
I love the first home but am not sure about the inside pool. I suspect it can be removed and made into a larger living space? This town has a train which is a real plus.....close to Cortona etc
Che vita interessante ti sei creato lì. Ti invidio!
Terrific video. Your hotel accommodations would use half of our vacation fund but it is gorgeous. We have honestly discussed moving to another country. May be too old now but this town is perfect for such a dream.

shut up lets go on a date
In cities it's very easy to find, most of us live in small apartments especially modern buildings tend to have more studio apartments.
Wow these are gorgeous 😊
Visited Italy for the first time in March/April and LOVED Umbria!!! So glad we (my husband surprised me) picked Umbria!! (then Furore and Rome)
Your video brings sunshine to my sometimes gloomy work life
I was sad that the second property was abbreviated as it’s exactly the type that I want to see more of! I just love the historical buildings, and the history behind the places is really interesting. Such a great space, loved it! ❤
The production of your videos is so professional. Relaxing to watch and enjoy.
I was thinking the same thing. Very peaceful, relaxing and still exciting to see a new place.
Hey Marco, lovely to see this place on your channel! my wife and I got married nearby in 2006! we stayed in Castiglione del Lago a few times during the planning, eating out and enjoying the Italian way of life. Great memories!

Marco- love the addition of showing the hotels you're staying in: I didn't think it possible, yet your productions just keep raising the bar even higher!
Include room prices, per favore!
The pool inside is a nice surprise. What a unique home.

Both are beautiful properties. However, house #2 made my heart beat a little faster!
These two properties are quite unique. Lovely choices. I like the variety.
I do dream of Italy! And now, specifically, of Castiglione. ❤❤ those frescoes... sigh!

Marco, where’s the part of Lake Trasimeno where Hannibal’s army defeated the Roman Army?
"La battaglia del Trasimeno -217 B.C" e' nei pressi del comune confinante di Tuoro , a 15km da Castiglione del Lago , puoi trovare indicazioni ovunque.
Oh my god, the first home! Loooove it. Just spectacular.
You are really a master at this….the full experience! Thank you so much!
Your effort makes me long for Italy ❤
The 2nd property is beautiful!
That's the family from my mother's side, the Romizi of Petrignano! And no, I am living in a flat in a little town up north in Piedmont, sigh...
Wonderful homes! Totally a new type of architecture, specially for me living in RSA.
Home #1 caught my eye and my appetite with the homemade pasta next door. Beautiful place to escape to from the rest of the world.
Non vedo l’ora!
Oh wow! Beautiful homes, and that second one has such gorgeous grounds!
The 2th is just breathtaking, too big for me 😅 but actually a great price for this kind of palace!
I have missed your videos. I always look forward to seeing the the new places you show us. Loved loved house number one. It was beautiful.
The first property is absolutely gorgeous and would make a good family home.
The second palazzo would make a perfect boutique hotel.
Ciao, Marco.
You showed a quick profile of Jacabo. He has that classical Roman nose. 😊

As always, thoroughly enjoyed your video!
What a project to respectfully restore this house....
I live in the Chianti region of Tuscany. That first house with the indoor pool for 375k?
More like 2-3 million in and around my town.
So lovely. And love the way you spoke Italian …slowly 😅. The better to understand ❤
Marco , you are the best . Mozzafiato Capolavoro . Mille Grazie .
@@timmaloney6441 grazie a te 🙏🙏🙏
Both properties are fabulous Seriously love the one in town, a bit nervous about the stairs. The country house WOW.
Lovely to see another beautifully shot video from you.

The man, the myth, the legend is back from vacation! Great properties, loads of potential on the 2nd one! That pasta looked bomb! Cheers Kirk
😂 happy to be back! The food was spectacular!
Great video! Would love to see more homes at $200k US dollars or less. 😊
You have a good editor. The graphics and production ideas are professional.

Yay, you’re back. I’ve been waiting for your videos. There’s so much fun. Thanks for sharing. Taking your time to do. These really appreciated them so much.❤❤❤
Happy to see your back. Really enjoy your vlogs and how you show the town and culture as well as amazing homes. 🙂
Grazie Marco. Dopo aver visto il tuo video mi sentivo più felice, un abbraccio 🤗
Marco you make fantastic videos!!!
22:30 What a gem at this price! Wow.
You would get a shack at this price in Florida. Love the quality of your videos 👌🏻👏🏻
Come to visit Umbria, the green heart of Italy!
Your hotel is my dream home😊
Just subscribed, amazing channel and content
Marco, this video is a work of art! Grazia!
First time here. Love your presentation ❤😊🇦🇺
I just love your style! Your show is the best! My only wish is that you would cover the Piedmont?? (north) area.
Love you videos Marco!
Great presentation 🎉
Truly dream homes...beautiful!

Bravo Marco! I think this was an awesome episode. Part Rick Steves and part Marco’s magical mystery house tours. I really enjoyed it.
wow, what a beautiful town and propertys
I need that homemade pasta asap! ❤Amy from MN
Both properties stunning, but the countryside palazzo is just G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S! But in the end it is a semidetached 'house' or did I get that wrong?
Wrong, a semi detached palace you mean ? 😉🤗
Where did you see the neighbours ' house? I agree though it's not explicitly clear if one has direct neighbours or not.
The actual advertisements for it state “free on 3 sides” and looking at the photos and the plans show the entrance is at the border of the subject property.
Absolutely beautiful!!!!!
Wonderful !

Hi Marco, do you plan to show homes in Viterbo or its province towns? Even lesser know vs Umbria which could be interesting. Great video!
Greetings from Redondo Beach 🇺🇸🇺🇸Nice video👍🏽👍🏽
Beautiful!
I love your channel.

Castiglione del Lago Umbria is not a 7% zone area. For foreigners, this is not the right choice but maybe for a quick day trip or vacation.

Magnificent
Why making comparison ? I'm Tuscan and bith Umbria and Tuscany are wonderful.
#1 has inadequate dining space......not very Italian in that way. But great price and location
great video! how much?
Bravo
Terrific video. Your hotel accommodations would use half of our vacation fund but it is gorgeous.
We have honestly discussed moving to another country. May be too old now but this town is perfect for such a dream.
When and if these palazzos are sold are they sold with the furniture removed or not?
O Babino Caro - Puccinni. Montserrat Caballe?

you are moving way too quickly through the rooms . please slow down and give the viewer time to get a sense of the space.
