When you keep writing in the same world for a while. You will find that maps will come with each story. For me i have over 20 different maps. And i have a 3 foot x 3 foot world map hanging up in my office. Keep building and dont care what people complain about... Lol
When i drawn a map, i just scribbled and adjusted it as i put details.
Your maps turnes out pretty good. Good job.

"I don't like doing detail work when I'm drawing." Proceeds and continues to do an entire project fairly exclusively of detailed tiny lines and features and absolutely kills it. 😂 You might not love them, but you seem exceptionally adept at the details. :P And I love how these maps came out! Haha, I think it would have turned out better if I’d been more patient, but it was a hassle to draw all the lines that I did. But it was worth it to bring the map to life, as you said!

Your map puts the squiggles I make in my writing notebook to shame! You are so talented 😍 I've heard of people using noodles to make maps, but I loved watching you pour the rice on the page and seeing your map come to life. That was so cool!

Oh my gosh, thanks for your kind words!!! I was so hesitant to start this because I didn’t want to disappoint myself, but that’s really the entire point of being a creative: doing things that could fail and hoping for the best.
I love the rice trick!! It makes a map look wayyyy more realistic along the edges. It helps more than you’d think.
