    Yes, he was. I used this technique on my boyfriend's hair, and it came out pretty good. People gave him lots of compliments and he liked it a lot. I think it was a great technique, made the cut much easier to do.

    You would want to fade the hair on the sides and back. I would recommend starting with a 3 and fading down to a 2 and then a 1 bellow the occipital bone.

    I find this video hilarious, not because of the cut...the cut is fantastic. It's the fact his model has that somewhat individually desired mustache and the stylist's gown has mustaches all over it...LOL

    thank you! i would like a bit of a more fade in the back, and the sides aswell. but this is exactly what i was looking for! Whenever i ask a barber to cut my hair like this, it comes out terrible! nothing like i want it. they cut my bangs short, and its just a mess! its like if they were to give me a buz cut all the way around! lol. thanks for posting! i will do my best to express this to my barber, but i think he may need a lot of work! lol. Thank you

    Would you be all to get the same result using clippers instead

    • @beemayhemful
      @beemayhemful 10 років тому

      I do this for the men in my family with clippers on everything lower than that "horseshoe", yep. I just switch attachments, I do the whole shebang with a 1" or 3/4", then go up a little less each pass with a smaller size - usually I work down to 1/2" or 1/4" depending on what I did the first pass with (if that makes sense at all?). You have to be careful you don't get clear lines of each size - unless that's the goal, but for this style you don't want it...- but it's easy to get the hang of. I blend with a razor comb. I do the same scissor technique for the top length though.

    Sir, this is the year 2016. An electric razor can do the job 10x faster than your scissors and comb and blend the fade 100x more cleaner.
